21st July 2009 - The Curse of Arrav (and Patch Notes)
Just saying that could be the connection the developer intended to make and we've picked up on it.

Maybe he was saying his name, and the Freminik heard it, but spelled it wrong. So now he just chills up there.

Once a great game. A story/Rant for veteran players.
Hobby for a great deal of the population. And the only reason they play for a small minority. Most of my friends pk when they are bored, some of my friends live to pk. Is that because there are lots of PKers, or because you are drawn to people who like to PK?

Chasing Perfection: Jagex's Quest for a PvP Utopia
I don't care for merchanters of any sort because they don't make money. They only aquire other people's wealth by being glorified middle men. As for skillers, get over it and fight something?

Why must they torture us with short quests? I hates you JaGEx! :x

What a dull game
Well, there's your problem. You've never played it and most of your descriptions come from Runescape fanboys. True, individual quests are often weak, but when you put them together they often tell a story and generally lead into one another. Also, they are realistic- it's WARCRAFT, a world in which both sides are constantly testing each other and skirmishing. Of course you're going to be killing stuff. It's not World of Lovecraft, although that would be pretty freakin' sweet... Summoning Cthulu... Being a loyal cultist... I think their criticism was that the game was far too combat based. I mean, their is little else other than combat. Even the skills require you to kill things for the mats to train them.

Official year of upgrades / Month 7 / FAILS
No it was probably the huge flame wars before starting the forum based religion. But thanks for taking the blame my loyal slave. What are you guys talking about? That would be a great idea. I could really go for that tax exempt status. :P

Just to add something Unfortunately, this quest really didn't give us a whole lot of info or a backstory on them. Just a few names of who's around and who isn't. Kinda lame... :|

Chasing Perfection: Jagex's Quest for a PvP Utopia
I don't hate the PVPing on the game at all. I hate all the people complaining about the issue with PVP. If it goes, they'll shut up. Plus, would be nice to have some relatively stable prices on armor, weapons, foots, potions, etc.

Chasing Perfection: Jagex's Quest for a PvP Utopia
There are already two things that do that. Clan Wars FFA and the Duel Arena. Whatever. Don't care. I just want people to stop complaining and be able to afford stuff on the GE. Well fix pvp,and the complains will stop. Deal? ;) Can't fix PVP. It's like a the Jagex Yugo. You can keep it running, but just barely, and everyone will hate it and complain. Better to throw them both in the junkyard.

About that new slayer monster...
I'm going to make a prediction. Tomorrow's update will be a quest. It'll be a short one. Then people will ask why it's halfway through the year and we haven't gotten a long quest yet. PS Chosen Commander was amoderate sized quest. And you'll get a reward called "Past Sight" where you're allowed to toggle through the 12,830 different leprachaun animations and choose which one they look like for you. I made that prediction last night at around 7. It was a quest, it was short, and I want to know why we haven't had a long quest yet. Also, guess past sight will be reward for another quest, which by then we'll have around 14,000 Lepracuan animations to pick from. :wall:

No, first page gives you requirements to start the quest, second is what you need to complete it. Dumb, I know.

Glad it's a quest, but still only a medium length one. We need a really long one to sink our teeth into.

They still have time for a second update today. Give them a chance.

What do you do? Borrowers who can't wield.
Tell them that nature abhors a moron and make them learn their lesson.

Post and discuss all Jagex Twitter updates here!
I really wish they'd put the Twitter update closer to when they actually release the bit of content, like within 24 hours. I'm tired of them tweeting the hint for this week's update on a monday, but we don't get the update until Thursday.

But I gotta catch 'em all!!! :x

Chasing Perfection: Jagex's Quest for a PvP Utopia
Or, on a PVP world, no one loses anything and no one gains anything. We just kill each other for fun, experience, and bragging rights. Go make money another way. Problem solved again.

Unfair bh worlds
Actually we can forgive the grammar. There are many people on here who speak English as a second language and they don't use perfect grammar. We simply want adequate punctuation and a properly used spacebar. Not that hard. :wall:

Ruining a rusher's day - your opinion
wanna talk about seriously ruining a rusher's day? Eliminate PVP so he has to go back to making money and annoying people the old way.

Then scale back how much you can make off it. No screw it. Do what I said earlier. Junk PVP!
