What else would you like to see? Thanks, here's an example of what I'm currently doing: As you can see I'm placing my own watermark in a specific X-Y co-ordination for all my screenshots, adding this option to SK would simply save me (an other users I'm sure) a little bit of time. Perhaps if we put a supported (picture) format into the SK Data folder it could grab it and use it.
  3. Happened to me while my account was inactive (so I had no idea about it) someone somehow "recovered" my account successfully and dropped all my rares/items, left me with pretty much nothing.
  4. I suspect they will do more "free trials" throughout the year, possibly 2 more before the year has finished.
  5. They actually suck for playing RuneScape, Mark told me a while back that at the last RuneFest, quite a lot of them simply broke, overheated and didn't even last the full weekend.

  7. Given that SK can add a watermark itself (both the DD-MM-YYYY) and the SK icon in the top right, would it be possible to add a feature so we can attach our own watermarks? Perhaps a .png file with specific X-Y placements? If not, is there any chance I can modify the current DD-MM-YYYY watermark image or is it hardcoded?

  9. The same guy who can cast magic, siphon divine energy, and negate the powers of the gods??? Partly correct, a Level 3, brand new account can fully carry 28 un-noted sharks, I think certain backpack amounts should be unlocked at certain levels or you should be able to buy a larger backpack.
  10. Agreed, I think the statistic is something like 74% diet, 26% exercise.
  11. Ideally I'd like to see a major overhaul of the backpack, I mean, who can realistically carry 28 sharks (un-noted) in their very small back-pack? Make it more realistic based on weight in the bag, Strength and Agility levels. Alternatively, I'd like to see a Level 99 Magic spell that can change any item into a note or vice versa, I think this would be a great bonus for those who have spent the time training that Skill.
  12. As far as I'm aware there's nothing in the rule book about doing this: I log in (main account) give my money/items to a friend. I then log in (to my new account) and receive (my) free items from my friend. I was always under the impression that having your 2 accounts interact with each other on the same world was against the rules, but doing it the way above (trading items) was/is perfectly fine.
  13. To be honest, it's probably the exact same combat formula as it used to be, but Jagex will probably say "it's been improved" when in fact, it hasn't. Until they release the official formula, I'll stick to what I think.

  17. I personally would like to know why they're even offering "Legacy Mode" when they were so confident with EoC, it seems like they regret the decision entirely.
  18. We want players to use Evolution of Combat because they want to, not because they have to. Last week, we announced some big upgrades to Evolution of Combat, which I’m confident will really improve the system. But we’re also planning to offer an alternative for players who just can’t get on with EoC and instead want old combat. Today we’re launching a poll for a Legacy Mode which would bring back the majority of the old combat gameplay and interfaces, in the modern game alongside EoC. The poll starts today and players have the next two weeks to vote on whether we should start developing Legacy Mode. [spoiler=Why now?]Why now? Power to the Players isn’t just a slogan; it’s our new ethos. It’s about the community having a voice, and it’s about us delivering what you want. In the New Year, we announced in-game weekly content polls and the response was amazingly positive. However, one issue kept cropping up: you want the power to choose which combat system you have in the game. We’ve listened. We’re going to do something about it. I’m sorry it’s taken this long. In all honesty we’d struggled to find a solution which could bring back the old combat gameplay in a way which didn’t affect those who do like EoC. We needed a solution that wouldn’t split the community and was also technically viable for us to support well into the future. But as we saw that there was still a widespread demand for the old combat gameplay, we knew we had to find a way. I’m confident we’ve found it. [spoiler=What is Legacy Mode]What is Legacy Mode? That solution is to create a Legacy Mode which re-creates the old combat gameplay, inside the modern game, alongside EoC. This means both the old and the new combat systems would co-exist within the same game, and you’d be able to freely switch between them. Turning on Legacy Mode will change your gameplay to be like the old combat system, circa 2012. This includes things like special attacks, no action bar, no abilities and type-to-chat. It will have the old interface layout, with combat info and buttons around the mini map, with the old side-panels in the lower right, plus an option for the old fixed-window interface layout. It will not be limited by membership status, world location or server type, and in most cases players of each system will be able to play side by side. There will need to a be few differences to make it compatible (and competitive) with current game, including dual wielding weapons, modern gear and inheriting the combat triangle rebalance which improved Ranged and Magic combat. There are certain features, like the old '138' combat level formula, which have an impact beyond just Legacy Mode, for which we’d need to work with the community to find a solution. That said, our aim is to make it look and play as close to the old system as possible. [spoiler=How will it be made?]How will it be made? This is an ambitious vision, and we don’t have all of the details worked out yet. This is where you come in - we’ll need the guidance of the community to make sure Legacy Mode delivers the old style of combat you’re after. If the Legacy Mode poll succeeds, we’ll start to develop this feature in collaboration with you, publishing our work-in-progress code to the beta servers, using forum input to get your requirements and running beta polls to measure whether the various elements are meeting your expectations. As with the current Combat Improvements beta, access will be open to free players. Should the Legacy Mode poll succeed, we would work on it in parallel with the already announced Combat Improvements for EoC. I expect it would take at least a couple of months to have Legacy Mode ready for beta, by which time the features in the current Combat Improvements beta will mostly have been finished and launched. This is obviously quite a lot of work, and would need at least a couple of developers focused on creating Legacy Mode over a number of months. That’s why we’re doing a poll before we start, and we'll poll again to make sure you’re happy Legacy Mode is ready for the live game. My opinion: I'd like to see a mode in between the two, Legacy Mode but will all the features of the new system such as changeable menu interfaces, this way you can arrange the screen how you like it with the benefits of all the old stuff. The biggest thing I want back, is "type-to-chat", I hate having to press 'Enter' to enter the chat-menu then having to type, countless times I start typing and open a ridiculous amount of menus as I type fairly quick.
  19. Personally, I see them releasing this skill before the year is over, despite the poll results, same with the Elf City if the results are vice versa.

  21. Can someone answer me this properly... Say I'm all 99s, I reset my Attack to 1, I can still then wield the strongest weapon as I've already got 99, so tell me, what is the actual point of resetting it to 1? Is it literally so you can just "level" up again despite the leveling up actually being a cosmetic level?
  22. Is it just me, or is anyone else hoping this means "extreme high level content" eg; Armour/Weapons requiring Level 2 or even Level 3 prestige? This would in theory mean say 99 Armours (13M xp) and higher (39M xp) as it doubles for your next 99. This could be very interesting for things such as future PvM bosses, especially if these armours were to give huge life-points.
  23. This is the best layout I could conjure up with a large-ish viewing area and all the tabs I need quick access.
  24. There is an abnormal community hype for that because of skyboxes and such. Really you should be more interested in camera zoom potential, NIS and new audio. I just assumed we'd get weather, it'd be a fantastic update itself alone. Camera zoom is nothing new, been done before with modified clients, it was even possible in RS1 modified clients, I'm sure you've seen images.
