  1. Ye and 150 gp isn't all that great. Thats only 4200 GP per invy, and that isn't factoring in the cost to buy the fur in the first place.
  2. Danz, what about incredible drops, eg ancient+VLS or so? I can see normal Pk drops being in the other section, but I for one would still like to see *really* good drops here.
  3. Camping one was well written, but once again assumed that all players have "fun", or don't have fun doing the same thing, or so it seemed. Some of use really do like getting fast xp, making fast gp, or going for a high level. For me, your camping idea would be insanely boring, but that is just IMO. I don't play RuneScape the same way I play Call of Duty mulitplayer, or Mariokart with my siblings.
  4. Its not. [hide=How the RoW Works]The ring of wealth's magical power can sometimes have an effect on the drops that you receive from defeated NPCs. To understand how it works, we first need to define some terms. 100% drop - Most creatures have what is called a '100% drop' which they will drop every time they are defeated (e.g. bones or ashes). Main drop - This will be an item drawn from an NPC's 'drop table' based upon a random 'roll' (imagine a dice roll or roulette wheel). Drop table - This is a list of all items that an NPC could possibly drop. The percentage chance of receiving each item varies depending upon the item's relative value. Secondary drop - Some creatures also have a secondary drop. So far, this only consists of charms used in Summoning. Quest drops - in some instances, an NPC will drop a quest-specific item (e.g. the unique bones required for the Rag and Bone Man or Fur 'n' Seek quests). On most NPCs' drop tables, there is a small chance that instead of receiving an item from its own drop table, you will instead get a roll again on the 'rare drop table'. The rare drop table contains some of the more exclusive items in the game, including, but not limited to, dragon items, certain rune items, shield halves, key parts and uncut gems. The rare table also contains 'empty slots' - the end result of landing on these empty slots is often referred to as receiving 'no drop' or 'bone drop'. We keep these slots empty for any future drops that we want to add to this table. The rare drop table is shared between a variety of NPCs - e.g. goblins, fire giants, most Slayer creatures. A good way to tell is that if an NPC is known to drop a half key, then it will drop other items from the rare drop table. There are, however, certain very rare drops that are not on the rare drop table, because they are specific to certain NPCs or NPC types (e.g. the draconic visage is only ever dropped by dragons; godsword pieces only by the God Wars Dungeon bosses) and it would not make sense for these items to be dropped by, say, a fire giant. The ring of wealth comes into play whenever you are rolling on the rare drop table, its ability effectively removing most of the empty slots, drastically increasing your chances of receiving an item from the rare drop table. The actual percentage increase differs between NPCs. Adventurers who make regular use of a ring of wealth should find that they receive fewer 'no drops' than adventurers who do not, and, therefore, receive more rare drops and, in the long run, gain more wealth. http://www.runescape.com/kbase/guid/magic_non_combat_magic Only influences things such as shield left half, half keys, gems, etc. Not specialized drops, such as whips, SOL, d boots, etc.[/hide]
  5. 8 SOLS in 8 tasks, but took 6 tasks for that first one, and last four tasks have been dry so meh.
  6. Personally I only use onyx ring (i) when I need defense too, like mith dragons, since I tank. Although since you are being a [bleep] IDK why people are helping you at all. And I'm with blade, turmoil all tasks, especially dragons/etc.
  7. Yes, because we REALLY want an Item that's coming INTO the game to rise to the value of Party Hats with terrible stats compared to armors 1/10th its cost. For once I wish players wouldn't think about money only, and has there been any update on Prayer Armor from Cache? Whats the matter with very expensive stuff? Its to show off, not for stats.
  8. Damn even I didn't blow my whole bank... I still had a glory. :P
  9. Lotsa bugs like this been going on, I paid gnome to watch my Spirit Tree and it still died...
  10. Very nice, my best is two staffs in a task. But i've gotten that twice, so I'm not at all mad at you for your luck :P Ice Strykes own!! Btw, use Wolpertinger with scrolls instead of yak, the bank is close, and it usually only takes two trips at the most for me in a task, the speed from hitting higher is well worth it  I never need to bank during my tasks, even with Wolp. Just plan your invy well :P And Svs, that is part of my theory on drops. EG, if I let deflect mage kill prime, and only tag him once or twice, I NEVER get a seers/axe. Don't tell me a dry streak of over 700 kills is coincidence. [/hide] I always let kill Prime on my dagannoth trips through deflect curses. I hit him at least once to make sure I get the drop; gotten 3 seers so far - but no axes.. I can provide pics if you want too Well the interesting thing is that on a slayer task, I did more then half the damage through range, and that was the ONE time I got a seers. I honestly don't think the drop system is 100% pure luck, I think there are other factors in there.
  11. It adds up to a few k more xp/hr. I got SS because it was useful for WFS, and I wanted faster xp, but I sold after 99 Str. I'd get if you can afford, but its not worth busting the bank, or even spending all your cash on, or trying hard to borrow.
  12. A friend dying to you gives you worse loot BTW, another anti-76k measure. I just sit in lvl 1 wildy praying melee in +49 prayer with 100k risk, and a pouch, unless waiting for a target. (I prefer not getting people in deep wildy hybriding.)

  14. You assume there was a problem Zaaps, there wasn't.
  15. Looks like according to the PM its around 18 gp/xp, compared to 8.5 gp/xp for oak planks.
  16. Well at least I'll have a few of the slower/costly skills done.
  17. Dibs. Like I said before, *raisies hand* Few of my friends and I trying to get together enough street for divine... Few onyx rings+ely so far, but we still got a ways to go.
  18. Those are kinda rare tho, friend opened 100 and didn't get one.
  19. Well you could sell some to me and a friend, and if nothing happens we could always sell SOME of them back. We take all the risk, but you can get some back if nothing happens.
  20. * raises hand* Possibly.
  21. Thats one problem I have, when I get a goal, I need another one or I get bored fast. Happened with Ely, gona happen with 99 slayer, etc. I try and solve that by having several goals at the same time, even if I'm only working on one. (Next up, 80+ raiding, DSS, 99 range)
