  1. Also I'd like to point out, that those who have higher incomes have higher marginal propensitys' to save. Meaning that they may consume the same amount, work the same hours, but one will be much better off than the other.
  2. This movie. Do you think that Bill Maher can be a little, uh, tries too hard to be funny ?
  3. I'd just like to show you guys how good you have it in the States', compared to backwater Australia. Lookee this. Taxable income Tax on this income $1 $6,000 Nil $6,001 $35,000 15c for each $1 over $6,000 $35,001 $80,000 $4,350 plus 30c for each $1 over $35,000 $80,001 $180,000 $17,850 plus 38c for each $1 over $80,000 $180,001 and over $55,850 plus 45c for each $1 over $180,000 See. Progressive systems are as [if not more [developmentally delayed]ed than the flat rate you people want] Also, it doesn't help that our dumb[bleep] of a goverment spends around 40% of it's surplus on transfer payments. But still, you [uSA] progressive system is so unnecessarily complicated. Capital rates, seperate filings. Different laws in different states. Five brackets [Which in a way is good]. Still, [anyone know about the Gini Coeffecient] is unnaturally high [around 0.4] for a developed nation. Damnit Canada is miles ahead of you ! EDIT : With all your standards and exemptions after about $60,000 if you're not blind, deaf and single -- well. Also, your taxation system sounds like - Vrooooooom, then ouch it hurts. Give me my nitrostat. Requesting a graphing image thing for Tip.It
  4. 6/10 Could be bigger.
  5. My Cousin Vinny How I love Joe Pesci. Crazy [bleep] in Casino, if you didn't know already. Also, Religulous. Hilarious untill it got preachy, luckily it was just the last 5 minutes.
  6. In those cases, any ad hominems were mutual. This thread is pretty different if you ask me though. The most debating on this thread is how Das said my Taco Bell example is bad, and me defending it. In fact, I even said the words, "I'm not trying to argue here." You should be proud of me. :D Oh yeah? What's that big paragraph above then?? I don't know anything anymore. I should log-off for the night. I lurve you Zierro. Bye bye everyone. Also I've noticed that companies have started to put more air in chip packets than before. C'mon. When I was 10, I opened up a packet that was just air. I know, crazy. Though, probably just a hiccup in the production line.

Where is the love, guys and gals ? What ?
  8. Brutally attacking the person on the other end? I have a feeling that you're just luring me into debating you. Oh no no. You know, just taking reference from you and - Venomai, Ginger, 1MA. Your exploits in the "Is God Real" thread. Etcetera. Abortion. Cigarettes.

Well, if you're gonna get technical, it's impossible to do nothing, since sitting on your butt is still doing something. Yeah, I realised a smartass was gonna point that out; I even thought of that myself. But it's generally accepted that 'doing nothing' is [bleep] about and .. doing nothing productive. Edit: Jaerk's in sophomore year I think, that's Year 11 in New Zealand, not sure about Australia but Wiki says that 15-16 year olds are in Year 10. Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior !? New Zealanders' use that system ?! That too in high-school. It's confusing as I usually refer it [by] university or college in America. Australia has no such thing.
  10. 8/10 the go and the forum games guy

Well, if you're gonna get technical, it's impossible to do nothing, since sitting on your butt is still doing something. Yes this. Also, perhaps I should ask jaerk himself but, what grade is he in then ? I remember somewhere he mentioned he was in Year 9.
  12. Bananas are great. Healthy and fairly cheap. The only problem is they aren't very filling. As a matter of fact, I don't think any fruit is filling. :o I don't know what you mean here. Bananas are very filling. Or try green apples with some salt. Or raw mangos with salt. Also, to your second point. I'm saying you turned to your aggresive post structure involving quotes and then brutally attacking the person on the other end. Like one does. I have no idea what I'm saying anymore. But yes, fruit is very filling. Also I've noticed if fruit is on the sour side [like kiwi fruit or green apples] it doesn't taste as if your stomach is filled. Watermelon however, is a completely different story. There is no cantaloupe. It's rockmelon.

Right on brother! =D> Look on the bright side. You have an excuse to be [wagon]. Yes. Like I did a few years back - just get a few of your close friends and share coursework. As in photocopy notes and scaffold your assigments. Do the bare minimum. [ But it's your choice. I'm not advocating laziness] Enlighten me. Doing nothing. Frees' up other time. And in it you can develop your other interests. Or if the teachers are just horrible - embark upon a journey of personal discovery. Some crap like that. I don't know.
  14. The middle part is too bright. Also, the blue dragon claw thing is distracting. Otherwise it looks cool.
  15. Someone link this guy to TV Tropes. Please ...
  16. Pulp, or Resevoir Dogs. But, I haven't seen Inglourious Basterd yet so -
  17. [bleep] guys [Zierro] debate on food ?! Just calm down. Well, I only have home-made food. Which is the best. But I know some people don't have that luxury ... I have noticed, even in Australia, that food - specifically my $2 Cottage Cookies become stale much more quickly.
  18. Ok, which noob mod removed my post on 177 ? This aggresion will not stand. Evil, what's with the shirt ?

I agree with most of those things, besides being depressed and hating "things." School sucks, I have to learn about a bunch of [cabbage] I don't care about. Plus, I don't even get the classes I want so it makes it even worse. :wall: School is going to suck this year. You angsty 13 year olds [ I think ? You're in year 9 ...] make me laugh so hard. Except deathdrow [ I believe he is in year 10]. If you really hate it that much, just [bleep] the system back. Or not just do anything.
  20. Yes, this. It happens to me every morning ... Also, exams take the jam out of my doughnut. And being sleepy really annoys. Especially when I'm studying. I'm like [bleep]. Don't sleep now. C'mon. Your hands hurt - just lie down. Half an hour. Like I did today. Slept at 6PM, woke up at 6:40. Lay in bed till 7PM. Had dinner. Back to studying at 7:30 PM. Damn it. Now it's 11:22 and debating whether to go on for another hour - because I don't have morning [stuff] tomorrow. :wall:

Just about to finish season 3. Gotta' say, it's quite straightforward - no twists or surprises like 1 & 2. But certainly enjoyable.

My image of you goes something like this : [hide=Haha.][/hide] Well, you know. Old fashonied. Probably have lots of facial hair. Wear robes. Sound tea-stained ...
  23. Well, due to the amount of positive feedback [or rather lack of negative] I might try this again, sometime soon.
