"Scan for any hardware changes" That should make a prompt come up. If that doesn't work just, under the tree : 1.) Universal Serial Bus Controllers ... You should have a selection of root hubs the normal chipset controllers. Look through those, and you may need to change the default to the Generic USB Hub.
