Eeeeeh, I've read that book. Kaku explains stuff very clearly but some of the things he categorizes as Class I -III too frequently invokes the limits of what is science and science fiction, then again I may have no idea if it is really like that since I'm not a physicist. Still a great read though. I'm currently working my way through Fabric of the Cosmos by Brian Greene. I don't understand half of it. :|

How right/wrong is it to constantly eyeball your friends' amazingly hot girlfriend, or mention her hotness to him without getting punched? I feel like I'm getting seriously close to that limit. Is this even acceptable ? I mean my friend hasn't made any threats yet, but I whenever I mention it he just laughs.

I admire my parents as people, but not really as parents, ya' know ? Mum worked in a nuclear power plant for a while as a stress testing engineer and whatnot, published several papers in international journals, dad was kinda a failure at school, smoked and drank too much, too early [stopped now], they've been married for 17 years so that's good I guess. Also fairly open and liberal with what I do so that's good. As parents they've provided me with a relatively comfortable and easy life, but I don't know, I never really felt any gratitude or sense of burden or debt, I think it's because they expected too much of me too early. Oh well, maybe I'm just shameless, who knows. :|
