True, but don't rule out Schwarzer. I counted at least 4 phenomenal saves. 44th minute actually THROUGH the legs of one of our [cabbage]tastic defenders, just glanced off his hand, 60' and then in extra 1 minute time aswell.

Yeah, not to mention our lines were [bleep]ed, either dropping or cutting across. And our defenders sucked [bleep]. No concept of lines, formation, structure or anything. Australia was outclassed by Ghana. All uptill end of the first half we were getting literally penetrated. Second half, we held on to the ball, which was good. Lots of chances on goal, but their GK was too good. Compare that with first half, 9 on 2. Nah, Australia's 10 isn't even worth Ghana's 5. They might've gotten a goal with Kewell, but I didn't expect them to go past the group stage.

Yes, 11 minutes in. Goal by Australia, came off 2 from a free kick. But still, a goal is a goal. :thumbsup:

They very nearly did in that final minute! Good game though, nothing spectacular but Holland did just enough. Japan played pretty well though, although I thought they lost the ball a little easily. Yeah, that was tense. Yeah, nothing too spectacular, but after that goal by Sneijder it was really interesting. Really ? Japan did have few chances, and possession, but I think the Dutch were just trying to consolidate with the last 20 minutes and play more defensively. It worked, so hey. :smile:

In 20 minutes, Australia will face the powerhouse that is Ghana. [in all seriousness, Ghana is [bleep]ing Brazil when compared to Australia]. There goes Australia. If they win, I'm happy for them. If they lose, then, big deal. They weren't gonna go far anyway. It's funny though. Ghana > Serbia > Germany. And Germany > Australia by 4 [bleep]ing nil. So ... strange. However I really think that Serbia winning against Germany was the nail in the coffin. The best way for us was for Germany to win all three matches [which is what I was expecting] and for us to somehow claw for second. With Ghana beating Serbia, and if Germany beat Serbia, there was a chance we could have slotted through with maybe a win over Ghana and a draw with Serbia and take second with 4 points.Now it's still technically possible to get through with just 4 points but we would be eliminated on goal difference , which is a very real possibility. Since Serbia beat Germany, two wins now the only way for us to get though and there's no chance in hell of us winning both Serbia and Ghana. Maybe Ghana tonight, that would be aconfidence booster. An early goal will do us alot of good, and just pray that [bleep]wit Verbeek doesn't [bleep] up the line up.

Ah, my eyes are gonna murder my face soon enough. They'll just explode out one of these days, probably because of the medication I'm junked up on and I haven't slept properly for the last 10 days . 2 More weeks, then it's all over. Yay !

The Suisse v Spain one was actually pretty interesting. Germany v Australia was fun to watch Germany just outclass Australia in every possible way. And the Argentina v Commie Korea one was just fun to watch for Higuain scoring. :grin:
