  3. What thing or things in rs do you have/can you do that you would want in real life? For me, i will be happy with just a ring of charos, some house tely tabs, the "inventory" (Carring 28 items as though thay are nuthing? :smile: ) and high alchemy. Also wouldent mind a DFS just to freak people out with \:D/ Although if i had to pick 1 i would go with high alchemy.
  4. wait, if i read it right, then you can now have nearly all monsters in the fight caves in a slayer task... that would be bad if slayer mask/helm took efect. think how easy it would be (ok so it takes a while to get the spec task, but still)
  5. 6 pages b4 i even see the update XD anyway, the new prices are sweet and i am totaly geting them! slayer update was intresting, not much to say really.
  6. although i cant use any of the untradeible potions i can see what you mean, and it does strike my as strange, and rather dumb. exstrieam potions should be bob storeable, at least to an point. and while there at it make buckets of slime and a few other items like that bob storeable.
  7. revs are very anoying, but overall i have no reson to hate them. would like them to just go away whem im killing green dragons though.

Well the gem bag and coal bag seem to be skill based rewards. also on another note the tome of frost will change f2p mage pure training forever in terms of being able to only need body runes for curse training. Staff of earth + tome = awesome :P Well the real question is, is the gem bag/coal bag worth the time spent to get the points? And for f2p there are some seriously good rewrds but i still think this skill needs more passive rewards to help integrate it with the rest of the game I think the Coal bag is definitely worth it...you can almost smelt a full pack each run for any types of bar and with each one increase the amount of coal you can mine at one time... oh and air staff+tome of frost = only need to worry about combat runes...:) you can cast water spell for as how many combat rune you have. tome of frost + achient staff would be total ownage, your only loseing about 5 to 20 magic acuracy vs other shield mage items. removeing water runes from ice barrage but keeping the +10% mage damage :ohnoes: the arcane ammys are also ownage, giveing extra damage, not only to members but to f2p as well! boosting f2p mage by 2 mage accuracy and a 10% damage boost, and boosting member mage by +4 to -1 mage accuracy and +15% damage boost. tome of frost + arcane stream + achient staff, :shock: the chaotic shields are a nice bunch of items. each doing there best to renforce the combat triangle (although i have to say the attack penaltys are too good, someone just with a whip can still just put on a eagle eye kite and take up 20% mage damage with only -5 to slash :thumbdown: ) as for the other rewards i feal thay are of less use, awto burying bones would be epic... if you where a low level f2p killing hill gients and not someone high enough level to be able to use the bone grinder (well i guess at level 21 and after a fix this might change). the bone grinder could be usefull for higher levels but if your killing green dragons say would you burry the bones or guilded alter/sell them insted? oh btw, bone grinder is member so there goes most of its use. gem bag would be usefull for saveing some bank space, or inventory space if killing gem dropers. but not much more. with the coal bag things start to pick up again, as long as your not buying the coal from the GE i can see this becomeing very usefull, and even if you buy your coal it could be a bit helpfull for the blast furnice. ant anti poison toten is allright (what armour slot does go in to? i cant find out) although i think it should hold anti doses insted of makeing you imune. all the gravite items are good although i cant say so much for the chaotic weapons. yea, good but needs some fixes.

  10. kinda funny that we have to specify what artical where talking about when there is only one.. anyway about the clan artical i agree with it, clans are rather left out in rs, besides an uncomon jagex cup or stuff like that, clans have only goten reletively small updates that are not really for clans just anyone who wants them (team caps was pointed out) although some of the "clan" updates did benifit normal players more then it could a clan ever (clan wars, im not in a clan but i still love going and killing people :)) as for some of the ideas put in, i feal most if not all could be put in and work really well (clan halls ftw!).
  11. if whip got ajusted as to add an agresive option, after the rants in the rsof, it would shoot up in price then be dumped by the merchers and drop, but still far abouve its normal price. more or less at the same time the ss will drop in price. i dont know if it will be a higher price this the ss, as the ss is harder to get then the whip (most likely someone will quote this and say sgw is easy, well even if it is its still a lot harder and slower then killing abisal demons) sort of going of topic but if the whip was made to train strength then realisticly the ss would likely also get a boost keeping the price, reletive to each other, about the same. if you want a spesific number, then dont ask me. :blink:
  12. i understand people not likeing rs music, it can get very anoying. but i find at least some of the songs just, well, get it right be me. here are 2 i like route of the problem- after a while you will want to kill anyone playing this but b4 then its epic! :smile: waterfall- clam and relaxing, even if you dont like rs music i advise giveing this 1 a try.
  13. what we need is a boss thats very strong that gets stronger the more people around it (feeding of your strength?), but in a way that only matters at about 10+ people / can only have so many people in the place at once makeing a boss that gets HARDER when massed but requires teaming. maybe a side special efect such as it requires at least 2/3 people around to so thats it simply can not be killed by 1 player. anyway about instanced bosses i think that total instanceing many of the curent bosses such as gw and td is a bad idea, totaly mess up item prices and competion is a part of the game (some hate it, some love it), but wouldent it work to half instance them? maybe each world has 3 of the same boss as to efectively triple the amount of worlds. instanceing bosses when done corectly can and probably will be a good thing, done bad and man the rants...
  14. a thought i just had, you know the thanks giveing with the monster that allways took like 10x damage, think of how huge thouse hits would be now :shock: you would be hitting 1000 on a small hit!

  16. i wonder what darts on rapid looks like now? thats would be crazy :grin: also if no one else has stated so, hp regeneration is 10x faster not 10x more hp each regeneration time.
  17. no ofence anyone, but have anyone of you read the thread? its mainly about a new armour, with dragon armour being f2p as a sub topic. i understand that f2p combat triangle is messed up but it should be obvius that i was saying that could hapen, but that my opionon is that f2p range and mage need a buff to deal with the new armours.
  18. dragon right now is quite outdated, it has its use and i dont think you will be able to take that away, but over all its just been replaced with barrows ect. should a new grade of metal armour me added? should dragon items be made f2p? but what would happen to quest related dragon items if thay became f2p? how baddly will the price of dragon be efected? will the new metal overpower melee more then it is allredy? will this new metal even efect melee as it has so much stuff around that curent level requirement? should this be added, but only if mage/range get equivelent boosts? should dragon be made level 70 and a new metal at level 60 be made to replace it? i for one think dragon had its day, and that day was a LONG time ago. a new non degradeing non boss only drop armour and weapons is what medium to high level melee could do with. think of a, say, orichalkos dagger (p++) (an idea, a good or bad name idk), would it be too strong? i for one would love an item such as that as a spec weapon combined with my whip. and as a bit of fun on the side, what would there specs be? *fears orichalkos claws* discuss! edit: this is NOT a thread about dragon armour becomeing f2p, thats the sub topic. this is about a new level 70 (or maybe level 50, maybe both...) armour being added as mems only. sorry if that was not clear enough.

  20. ack, dont remind me of that fail that is evony adverts. i mean really, "this game looks like it has nuthing intresting, ect blah, HAY LOOK AT THEESE ... anyway maybe jagex was testing new game types, and/or paying systems. this might just be a test for the long run. btw about the pay to talk thing, it really was for the best, how the "world" chat works is that everything a player says in world chat is on that chat no mater where you are in the game, with a server of max 5000 people that would be very spamy even if chat was rather low. and its not like you HAVE to pay, horns can be goten by meany means (ok, so all other methods are not very cost efect and slow, but it still can be done). but when it comes to aliance chat or pm's its totaly free.
  21. now im not saying anything in this post is THE way, im not even saying anything in this post is even a good idea, but its what i think would benifit the game best in terms of the combat triangle. note that im am mostly talking about members, but a lot of it is to be done with f2p also. mage. im going to mostly go for accuracy and keeping things balanced on all levels insted of going up and down like how crazly mage does. first of all, all ranger armour should get a negetive slash, stab, and crush attack stat, nuthing huge like trying to mage in rune, just enough to weaken any meleer in ranger armour. slash would be lowerd most, and crush least. secondly, all stafs are to be given an accuracy boost, eg, +10 magic attack should becoume about +12, +20 is to be made +30 ect. battle staffs are to be given extra melee defence with less melee attack, mystic staffs are to be made logical and be given a large boost in magic accurecy stat (made to be about +17), with +5% damage, and some extra melee defence. there are to be about 5 new types of mage armour, mostly for low/mid level players, and many of thouse new armours will have defence stats also. for exspample, mystic splitbark if one likes to fail at nameing. all normal spell book binds are to be twice as long lasting. and some more items that are like SoL, inclueding some mid level ones. prayers will efect mage levels insted of just accuracy, just like with melee prayers. void mage gloves and mage hood will be given a small boost is mage attack stats, enough for the set efect to be usefull. maybe a change to the set efect its self. maybe mage could get more range, maybe. max hits would be hightend slightly for mid level spells. high level staffs/wands be given spec's, even if thay are not all that good. probably, runes be counted groups (amount to be debated) opon death as oposed to each rune was just 300 gp depite haveing 1000 of them. a large amount of boss monsters to be given lowerd mage defence, not a lot, just enough to say mage at the kbd (even if that profit is still rather bad) and/or a boss that is spsificly weak vs mage. melee. trying to avoid 1/2/3 hit KO's basicly. all metal armours, and most others, will have a slightly larger magic defence penalty. enough so that say someone with 99 mage in full dragon would still get hit ofen enough. more max hit reduceing items such as SoL or spirit shields. maybe (and i stress maybe) dragon claws to be made 55% spec useage. range. well not much really. rune arrows for f2p? yew bows made f2p? maybe ranger armour could have its mage defence lowerd a tiny bit. poisoned ammo is to be poisoned in groups FAR bigger then 5 at a time dragon crossbow? well thats that done, let the people start saying what i have done is total fail :)
  22. im no expsert, but thay say its very good for rock crab bursting with the 5% more damage then other good stafs + rune saveing. edit: oh someone posted that when i was typeing lol

  24. are you all talking about the glitched or the unglitched sound? i had to find that glitch :mad: on topic, i dont mind much if people use it in the ge or something like that, i just turn my aria-sound off, although it gets very very very anoying for the few seconds that it takes my to turn it off :angry: although i still think it should be stoped.
