In a way, I bet that's true now. Hey.. wait a minute I think Jagex may have read that thread too and said "That's a neat idea!" One of the fair few points being that (previously) our character would spawn at Lumbridge upon completion of the tutorial, which at the time was above the Tears of Guthix, causing speculation that we are the reborned avatar of Guthix. As well as us being able to make decisions in quests to "balance" the outcomes. A few others I can't remember. If anyone can find a cache'd version of the thread, I'd appreciate it. :)

Does anyone have a cache of Drumgun's sheepshearing thread?

You chop a tree, you get woodchop xp. You light a log, you get firemaking xp. You complete a dungeon, you get dungeoneering xp. I dunno, it sounds right. Castlewarring, Fistsofguthixing, Pestcontrolling doesn't. It's also the complexity of the skill involved, the amount of aspects that are included. I feel that yes, it should be considered a skill, albeit it's a little similar to how minigames work in terms of rewards and parties, but it is a skill regardless. It brings fun to the game and I'm fine with that.

They're removing the 'trial', and simply just adding related P2P skills into F2P, I say it's perfectly fine to change the rules to take into account for said skills now. If anything, this change actually opens up the Top 250 hiscores to new players as you don't have to start as a P2P player anymore. EDIT: Unsure about Gilded altars being opened up to F2P players. As of now this is all speculation, but nothing more than introducing a faster training method for F2P players, like how RuneSpan did for runecrafting.

Since this is somewhat relevant to the thread, who do you guys think will be the first to max all 99 stats in 07scape? Any prodigies in the making? It's sort of hard to pick out since the high scores is total level based. Would be interesting to watch how the high scores & economy unfolds in the following few months, especially when construction makes it's second debut.

On Topic, since membership is separate then your normal account/normal RS after the first month, do you think a lot of people will simply use an old account or a separate account, or just bundle it with their normal account? EDIT: Also couldn't find anything on this, is there a rough ETA time-wise when they launch it? it is not seperate. You have to buy EoCScape mems before you can purchase 07scape mems.
