  1. That''s hilarious. OT: I once died at iron dragons, because I brought a rune defender instead and was a moron. Quickly running back, I still didn't bring an antifire shield. I didn't notice until I was picking up my stuff and a dragon spawned. First hit took half my health. I finished picking up my last item and tele'd, with a few HP left back in my house. Ah, good times of me forgetting things and almost dieing, twice within 4 minutes...
  2. Ooo I think it would be interesting, but in the end I like it how it is right now. Could just be that I don't really like massive changes in Runescape, but I guess I could get used to most things.
  3. I enjoyed all the readings, although I do disagree with the first one. As in, I really like Runescape's quests, they are a heck of a lot better then most of the other quests I have done in stuff like Guild Wars and the like.
  4. Lol your sig still says you have 98hp. Gratz by the way.
  5. Hm ok. Too bad it is skyrocketing in price right now. : /
  6. zerker (i) is better than an onyx (i) in nearly every conceivable situation. if op doesn't want to buy a zerker, then a warrior is second best. in the time he'd spend collecting tokens for a vigour, he could make the money for a zerker, so vigour is out. Hm maybe I should consider getting a zerker then...
  7. Wow is the beserker ring really worth it? I don't really want to play mobilizing armies for the onyx ring....but if I did how long would that take?
  8. I was just wondering what ring I should be using for any combat (melee) training, especially for slayer? I am not shelling out the millions for a beserker, but I was thinking about getting a warrior's ring? I am using a whip, so the slash could help, but is there something else I could get that would be more useful? Also, no mobilizing armies. :P
  9. Hm I built this desktop myself. If something goes wrong, I usually have no problem isolating the problem. If it's faulty hardware, newegg and the manufacturers have great customer service.
  10. It sucks, but what can you do.. Jagex never listens to it's players about important things. But when it comes to a useless item for Halloween they are all ears.
  11. Lmao I read the first post and was like, "Wait, Santa's are only 5mil now!?"
  12. You might want to edit your title to that. It can be construed as 200mil XP because that is the max XP in a single skill, and is what most people will think of when you say 200m. OT: No matter what you do, I would suggest doing farming runs, Manage Thy Kingdom, and other daily activities such as battle staffs from Naff, etc. Those things can really add up and take a load off whatever you decide to do for the bulk of your money (And it really comes down to either combat or resource gathering).
  13. Disregarding the stupid chicken and egg argument above, I would say that even without fan sites, Runescape would still be a fairly large MMO. In fact, I would say that without fan sites at all, Runescape probably would not lose any of it's player base. But if there had been no fan sites to begin with, then the player base would be smaller due to less people knowing about the game. Just my thoughts.
  14. Or you could just train magic up to the required level instead of boosting. :shades: OT: Yeah, balancing it out would hopefully make runes cheaper, cuz they are quite expensive right now..
  15. Eh I see myself as more of a non evil person anyway, so I don't mind.
  16. It was kinda funny when I tried to play LOTRO. After making an account, I downloaded the client and then waited for like 14 hours or something for a ridiculous amount of updates. Even on a computer that has no cache for Runescape at all, it can still load it in a couple minutes. I would like to put a little time into it though and explore it to see if I like it. I was a big Guild Wars fan though, and am waiting on Guild Wars 2. I am really hoping that game blows me away, it looks great so far. I guess I have had my fair share of MMO's, but I think I have played Runescape the longest, followed by Guild Wars, and kinda not really getting into anything else (including WoW; tried it, didn't like it).
  17. It's sounding like the dragon defender is going to be ridiculously awesome. Can't wait!
  18. FINALLY Dragon Defender! Can't Wait! Also, the damage soaking thing looks cool as well. December looks like a great month! Too bad I have finals... -.-
  19. I'd just like to point out that I think "you get much xp, animal is faster die" is possibly one the best justifications for anything ever I am seriously laughing so hard right now from that haha...
  20. Yeah, having some high level armor that isn't ridiculously expensive would be nice. A fair price tag, but not too much...
  21. Wish they wouldn't start another MMO and they would finish Stellar Dawn already, or whatever they are calling it.
  22. It's a game, so I don't really mind they little things that are not practical in the real world.
  23. I do this, and I also bring 3 super att and 3 super strengths personally (If I am meleeing)
  24. So you don't like combat because it's too much work to train the skills, and train more skills to do quests to get better locations and equipment for combat? You don't like combat, skills, or quests...why are you playing Runescape again?
