why make another thread? If anything this is a clan, go do you sodb clanning on the clan portion of this site. I don't think it fitting that tip. it or anyother forum make official clans anyway because that would give that clan too much power. Stop spamming the sodb garbage. smithing is actually fairly easy if you do your own work. Mine gold ore in brimhaven and smith them wit the gold gauntlets and youll get your levels within 2 months, The trick is not to go nuts in the process:-D Slayer is still my love, Agility is just crazy, most other skills can be bought but are hellishly hard to level if you do all the work yourself. I guess it all comes down to who was smart enough tio invest in and cash in their rares at the right time. Those are the only people who can easily buy things now, the rest of us have to work for it :-( .

woah old post, I got 99 slayer and I am rightly proud of doing it, I hope for a decently profitable new moster in the future :twisted: . I basicly was able to max all my combat, ranged and most of mage through that skill, i will get the rest of my mage through alcs in crafting and fletching. Now that all I work on is prayer, I have a newfound respect for the work that goes into it if you ecto or the many millions of dollars you would have to spend to get 126. I dont have the money and I have become lazy so I just will admire those who either bought it or worked so very hard for it ( Or ill just chill out in pest controll and get some prayer that way:-D.) I still think that Slayer should be incorporated into your combat level, either by recalculating your levels so that 126 is still top, or letting slayers raise another combat level every 8 slayer levels. Hawt! Nice idea though:-D

That will never work, nobody would walk the light path to get 30 deaths, and if you made an official world through the abyss all you would serve to do is make an official abyss pk world. Since laws and deaths are about the same price each, people will do the safe laws as opposed to the hard deaths, And anyone that has done me 2 probally can make their own deaths. Terrible idea really.

They can keep bringing noob weapons and crappy weapons into the game through quests and team killable monsters but the best weapon should come from a 95 or 99 slayer required monster. If they don't then all they did is make slayer an addition to your skill total. Slayer= Firemaking? We shall soon see. Of course the non slayers want it a different way. While pushing for 99 slayer i didn't do my clues. Only 1 out of 10 is ever any good and there was more money to be made from a whip or rune boot drop than what I could potentially get from a clue scroll. Plus, as I wasn't a dragon slayer many of my clues would take me to the legends area jungle which I couldnt access. So I had to drop them. Then they came out with the new treasure trail update,more variety in clues means a reduced chance for me to be sent to legends. So now that I am 99 slayer I will do them just for something fun to do. To answer your question though, no, i don't reccomend doing them as they do slow you down a great deal. When I did do them I got maybe 3 assignments done a day, when I didn't 7+. As to drops, I sold whips and rune boots right after the assignment I got them on. Rune helms, lava battlestaves, half keys, mauls, and mystics I just left in my bank until I saw somene buying it. If you go try sell it you won't usually find a buyer right off, so you will lower your price until it sells. At that point you are one of the people responsible for our slayer items becoming worthless. So instead of unloading them I just kept em to give to noobs, friends, and drop parties. It really isn't worth the headache of trying to merchant your lower items unfortuneately. Time wasted in fally is time better spent killing. So to answer your question, no I didnt have a secret to selling items. :P Slay On, Axe Man Jack :P

That it has become the resource to many Slayers make me proud. I will work to enhance and expand this guide as needed, but know that this is intended to be an advanced Slayer's guide. I do not aspire for it to be the everything guide to Slayer. That is why I link you to tip.its official skill guide. Anyhow, I'm still praying for a lvl 95 required slayer monster that drops the dragon whip or dragon boots. save the world select page offline on your computer next time you see world 2 open. Then next time you need to get on W2 you just open file, world select(whatever you saved it as .html), and boom world 2 will be able to load up without having to refrese the world select 50 times. If the world is full you might have to click log in a bunch of times until you are accepted, but at least the hardest part is over when you can actually load up world 2. Your welcome.

LOL. Updates rule for reasons I alluded to and leesters expounded on. Seems you would mage in this DM? Might be an ok fight, but your def would be the end of you. Either way, no real reason to coordinate such a thing. If anything you may have learned to appreciate a system update, even multiple ones in a short period of time.

There are lots of threads on row or no row. I can't really give a definitive answer. I always wear mine while slaying and I got over 30 whips in my career without ever really camping there. If your asking what I suggest? Just wear it. I get more gem, half key, and rune drops while wearing it then without it. Also got 9 pair of rune boots one run with it. ROW AOK with AMJ

If the prayer exp wasn't halved I'd give up ectoing altogether and just live there. Its still a lot better than castlewars in my opinion though. ehm thats only a lvl 65 shortcut so just get ur lvl up thats not that hard Or do priest in peril. Can't use that shortcut without doing quest. Please think or post on topic. Thx I've done the quest and used an agility potion and I still couldn't squeeze through the fence. And I'm 64 agility. I myself can't test it as I am 80 agility, but, I know when the shortcuts first came out you could not pot to travers any obstacle. Then a week later jagex releasedan update saying that you could pot to use them. I know that it is possible becasue the highest slayer related obstacle requires 81 agility (the first pass in the slayer cave). Im only 80 and when I go into the cave I take a swig of agility and am able to traverse that obstacle. Apologies to the original poster for being harsh, if both of you are unable to pass it with pot, and you both have done that quest, then it is a bug that one of you should report. I personally see no reason you would be needing to walk that direction though personally, becasue eveytime I go out that way I use my ectophial or ancient magics. If either of you do get a response back from jagex that isnt automated I am very curious to hear their answer. PM it to me or make a post in general P2P. Rock out! Axe Man Jack
