Hes achieved perfection. To try maintain a ranking past 99 is unrealistic and leads to the issues he alluded too. People who play to extremes can't seem to adjust their play to a more manageable level, they need to just quit cold turkey. Don't know why thats so but its their choice. I havea few 99 skills but I dont see a real need to chase a ranking as its something you always have to stay on top of. And thats not something I have a passion for. If RS is no longer fun I won't play as much. If I run out of goals, I'll quit. Good luck to him in his time away.

People do make mistakes. I highly doubt the intent was to misinform and calling someone a liar for it is a bit overkill. It makes you look like an incredibly rude jerk who slanders people to the community with little reason. But then again, maybe that's just an overly strong comment like you calling him a liar was. -.- Don't defend misinformation. Lying to the community wastes others time. If you un-mount it, you lose it. I guess Jagex did that to prevent people from power training slayer without actually killing anything. Actually you do get back the head when you un-mount it.. same goes for cw armour, metal armour, fish trophy? Swords, Glorys... etc.. No you lose head when you un mount. Dont lie to people if you dont know what your talkign about. Otherwise you noobs would level slayer buy mounting and un mounting it. I suggested to jagex that we would be able to move a mounted head to another room and get 0 xp. I lost my basilisk head when I replaced it with my kbd head. So you sir are a liar and need to stop passing bad info to the community.

85 Slayer isn't worth POWERING to. That being Spending millions on cannonballs to get their quick enough to start killing abyssals. The price of the whip comparred to the average time spent collecting one doesnt really pan out with the current price. However the benefits of training the skill include maxing out your combat stats, HP, and range effortlessly and with variety. As opposed to no lifing at the Bandits or pest controll. Nobodies making you train it to 85 or higher but to those who have there might be a good reward for those with the required level in the future. How many high crafters got rich the day the fury was released? The same thing will happen when the 95 and 99 slayer monster is released. It's a challenging skill that needs to be maxed to "beat" runescape. Having achieved its highest level my only regret is that I didnt camp at the Abbies for a few months when the whips were still 6 million and make my fortune. But I can't change that andcan only hope that Jagex has a reward for my hard work on the horizon. There is plenty of fun and adventure in your journey up to and beyond 85 slayer. Without the introduction of the skill of slayer I probally would have stopped training combat or given up this game long ago.

yes you can get them at 85 now. they very recently changed that which is nice for all you slayers. It sucks you dindt get anythign from your task, I usually dont either, seems the only way to get whips is to get lucky or camp there. Both things that a dedicated slayer dont want to do. Congrats on getting a perfect assignment tho.

you can wear dragon chain without dragon slayer. I suicided to elvrag wearing full dragon(-Shield of course, you have to be legend to wear that) during my 99 slayer party. MYTH BUSTED!

Cannon only helps with meleeing the dust devils to get your assignment finished faster, like dagganoths. Ranging you just use the safespot and range away.
