I wouldn't say *every* lousy update was due to younger players, but then again, take a look at all the warning signs that the Doomsayer has. More than I have fingers and toes. Anyway, about the "noobification" thing, I guess it will stop. Go any lower than 7, I doubt they'll be able to turn on a computer, much less play on one.

Plenty of people wouldn't mind starting from level 1 with no perks or new weapons again once they hit 55 just for the prestige symbols.

Guthix, I definitely like the idea of balance and not saying much but carrying a big stick around without using it. If you follow the lore, Guthix would beat the other gods hands/tentacles/vines down if the situation called for it. Except maybe Zaros. By the way, who said Zaros was just a demi-god?!? He was the ORIGINAL god of evil! He was so powerful all the other gods had to team up against him just to hold him off!

I'm quite sure my main computer can handle the new graphics (It runs Doom 3 on high setting), but my laptop's a bit iffy, since I'm not sure about the graphics card. When they say 64MB for the graphics card, does video memory count? Hope it does, because that's all DirectX will say about my graphics card. A little clarification is very welcome. If it helps in anyway, my laptop can run Warcraft 3 : Frozen Throne no problem.

Well, to be fair, I think Jagex realized if RuneScape was to compete with the other MMORPG's out there, it had to shed its tag of "lousy graphics", which is the big reason quite a few people shun it for WoW. Perhaps if they had overcome that bias in the first place and given RuneScape a shot, they'd probably realize the amount of content in this game and not really care about the graphics. But of course, with many human beings, its hard to take a chance on something unknown. Which is probably the driving force behind this graphical update. To get new players attracted first, then let the content keep them here. As for the lack of content update, I'm guessing it should increase not that they don't have to deal with graphics and RWT any more.

Basically, trimmed armour is just there for looks, and basically just says "Hey everyone, I'm rich enough to buy this even though I can get something that does the same thing a fraction of the price!!" There's nothing wrong with that, if you have the cash to drop. They all fall under the category of items I like to call "bling" (Rares, trimmed armour, elegant robes) As for the debating content, your post does sound like a rant.

Before Summoning came out, things like vampire dust, empty fishbowls, marigolds, ruby harvest butterflies and other items had pretty much no use at all. Now, most of them are highly sought after secondary ingredients for summoning. Summoning has made inane and pretty much overlooked items like tinderboxes and gold rings become useful for training once more. What you do think?

I wouldn't say the G.E, half the RSOF was terrified prices would plunge uncontrollably because of gold farmers and impatient people.

If zezima's interview with tipit was anything to go by, its not all fun and laughter. Aside from speaking with a J Mod once, no one really... Or maybe I have, just that I don't really bother myself with famous players, so I might have seen one and not known.

Actually, it does kinda alert you to what's falling or rising in price in the G.E at times. If people started saying "Selling Dragon Bones in G.E lowest price!", its quite obvious that the price of dragon bones will fall. Which means its time to merch!

Quite a bit actually! I remember when I got my first level up (Woodcutting, Tutorial Island) many years back. I think I remember being able to mine iron after completing Doric's Quest... And going from 30 to 60 combat via Kalphite Workers.

Yeah, I don't like mining either! Thats why its the only skill I have which isn't ranked! I can't understand why my brother likes it so much, he went from 60 to 72 on coal alone in F2P!! Course, because of it I can't do Lunar Diplomacy either...

I wish that was the case, but I doubt it. With woodcutting, you can buy better axes which chop faster. Its been officially confirmed that a dragon woodcutting axe chops 15-25% faster than a rune axe. Fishing, just about every net is the same lol!
