There's definitely a quote in Koran that states Muslims are to leave places of worship to other gods and religions ALONE, and to live in PEACE and harmony with them. This I heard from a Muslim cleric myself. Hell, its even against the Koran for them to poison water sources of the enemy in during war! Most of this "BURN NON-BELIEVERS!" crap is added in by people seeking their own agenda. It was never in the Koran in the first place. Like how the Spanish Inquisition condoned burning people at stake for suggesting the Earth revolved around the Sun. Most religions proclaim peace, Islam included. The Bible does for certain, but then you have the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, and all the other people who twisted it for their own ends. Just that its become "normalized", to the point that Soldiers of the Cross is a hymm now.

The IRA didn't kill or bomb in the name of Christianity, instead it was based on the oppression of native Irish Catholics by foreign British Protestant / Presbyterian forces. There is a difference on killing in the name of your religion and killing while trying to protect your own people from foreign oppression. There was small militant groups who killed protestants under the alias of the IRA who many Irish Republicans would view as absolute scum for killing indiscriminately. Yup, they bomb in the name of Catholics across North Ireland, for their freedom. You're Irish, from the Republic side, and I can understand how you feel. I'm not talking about the entire IRA and all Irish Catholics here. The same way Al-Qaeda masquerades as a champion of Muslim freedom in the Middle East from Western oppression. Osama started out as a charity worker you know, until he got fed up the US finding more and more excuses to plant troops in the Middle East, like claiming protection. That's the same way Japan annexed Korea during the Second World War as well, by sending troops for "protection" from Russia, before just deciding to add it to the Empire. They too are a small militant group who kill non-Muslims under the banner of Islam while many Muslims regard them as savages and monsters. The fact that they're even resorting to acts like bombing civilian areas makes terrorists already. Al-Qaeda has the same justifications as the IRA. They are no more, and no less terrorists than they are. (Before anyone claims I'm a Muslim trying to justify Al-Qaeda, I state I go to a Catholic school, in a country where there are a large number of Christians. Take a guess at my religion)

I don't agree at all. LTTE is a legitimate resistance front against obvious oppression of minority ethnic groups in Sri Lanka, giant corruption, robbing of natural resources... If anything, the SL army should be labeled terrorist, it's a national army and tortures civilians/hires mercenaries to do bombings in Tamil areas to force them into submission But the other ones you mentioned, agree... (though some people would disagree as IRA being viewed as a terrorist organisation) Well, both sides kinda do that to each other a lot... But the LTTE did assassinate the then Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi...

I initially picked the NDS because it was cheaper, but even with my failure to acquire an R4 card, I think the games I've played or owned so far stand level with what I've tried out on a PSP, in my opinion at least. And I've gotten every single Gameboy starting from pocket, and the only "evolutionary" stages I skipped were the Advance SP and the old DS.

Argh, completely cannot find an R4 card where I live... I've even searched all the seedy, run down looking gaming shops, but still can't find one... So I'm stuck with a grand total of four games (Harvest Moon Rune Factory, Harvest Moon DS, Metroid Prime Hunters and Pokemon Diamond.) And I can't get my DS to connect to my wireless... All I get is a bunch of errors numbering from 52000 to 52300+

You have a perfectly reasonable standpoint. But I'm afraid you are one of the few the government has succeeded in corrupting. The only (and I mean only) long term side effects are a slight increase in your chance of developing cancer, along with respiratory illnesses, both of which can be reduced if the marijuana is smoked with a bong or a vaporizer. And, I might add, if marijuana were legalized, you would see much more development in ways to smoke it which are less harmful to your health. Currently not many people use vaporizers because they're so expensive, and not as many people use bongs because it takes more weed for the same effect. You know, the same argument could be used for the heavy stuff like cocaine and heroin as well. I'm sure if you legalized the sale of those someday the scientists would figure out a way for us to take a trip to acidtripland to visit the five legged unicorns without harm. OT : Anti-drug programs are pHAil. They're repeated so often no one cares anymore because everyone is so used to them.

I'm all for it, though it is hard to imagine its actually possible, because they'd either have to a) Squeeze all the tabs/functions/keyboard into the touchscreen and the rest on the top screen, which would limit the distance at which we could interact with objects, making range a problem... b)Make tabs all pop up like, like in HD, only throw in a key board as well, but that would make things really troublesome... And I guess everything will have to be two-click as well, since there isn't exactly a right click on the DS.

I'd say Veracs, its good for day to day training or boss fighting because of its effect, and its got a prayer bonus, something which I don't think any of the other Barrows sets have, and its still got a pretty good defence given its price And about your friend, I doubt he/she actually hit 32. I'm on 77 Strength, using a whip + barrow gloves + Black Mask on Slayer task + Dragon Boots + Rune Defender, and the most I've ever hit is 26. Unless he/she potted or prayed, I don't think its possible to hit 32 with Veracs with 71 strength.

Cheeky sod -.- OT: I reckon that Man City will challenge for the league a couple of times, will do absolutely nothing in any competition bar the league cup, and will just be a waste of money for that guy. But £135 million for ronaldo is just way too much. They seem to think "hey, we have 40x the money chelsea has, lets abuse it" but Mna City are gonna make absolutely no money whatsoever (not like they need it, mind). I think that this whole situation will go wrong because the owner will expect too much from the managers. The Abu Dhabi group isn't in it for the money, they're in it for the prestige and to flaunt their wealth. With a total worth of more than a trillion US dollars (Thats a 1, followed by 12 zeroes), they aren't going to miss a few billion pounds. Unlike Roman Abromovich or the Glazer family, who bought Chelsea/United as business investments, they aren't really going to care about losses because it isn't a money-spinning venture to them, and even if they did, it wouldn't really dent their bank accounts.

Free speech, does admittedly, allow you to do dumb stuff like burn a country's flag. But its just bad manners to do so. There's no law against jumping on the tables in a fancy restaurant and shouting "ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO ME!!" before proceeding to swim in the soup tureen either. But people will look at you funny and wonder what's taking the men in white so long to get there. Free speech also means that people have the right to say whatever they want to about you as well. Its all down to manners really.

I doubt it'll happen... So far most of the doomsayers always get it wrong, by the simple fact that we are still here. I think even Nostradamus said we'd all die in a apocalyptic end of the world sometime before today. And even if it does happen, that just means I'll never have to worry about raising my family or paying the mortgage on my house. Always be optimistic :thumbsup:
