  1. so your saying 300k-400k gp. for decent summoning? well thats way off i have spent over 4m (after selling pouches) for 65summoning :x then handle your money better. I spent 50k on 41 summoning and only used a few more afterwards. If u wanna save cash, use smething that uses few shards and get your own seconds How much of that was from Juna, lamps and books? I'm sure you definitely used all three if it cost you that little. Or unless you're exaggerating, which is also possible...
  2. I'd pick melee if I were you, slayer dart is too expensive for my taste >.
  3. Like Yahtzee said, its a graphic card abuser...
  4. Well, I'm not exactly fond of some people in that clan either, but I wouldn't say it was "low class"
  5. Just happened to me at the G.E (Was wearing my Cooking skillcape) Noob : Cooking Level?? (He was Level 92, and claimed to have 943 Mil earlier on)
  6. Then RuneScape would cease to fill its purpose. Its called a Massive *Multiplayer* Online Role Playing Game for a reason. I'd give up on it for sure if that happened.
  7. Looks : Trimmed Prayer cape Emote : Same as above!
  8. I'd buy a BGS! And renovate my POH with the leftovers!
  9. I don't mind helping most of the time, pointing lost players to where they need to go and all that, but when they get really clingy, I can't stand them. I helped this person do Troll Stronghold once, but immediately after that she demands I help her with Tourist Trap right after we were done with Troll Stronghold, and had the audacity to ask that I walk her through every single quest leading up to Desert Treasure, as well as DT itself. Helping's good, but a total stranger demanding 7 hours of your time for something that tipit's quest guides could easily substitute, that's overstaying your welcome a little bit don't you think?
  10. Junk trading is basically a means of taking advantage of a flawed system, a loophole in the rules, the same way pures take (or took) advantage of a flawed combat level system. So I'd say junk trading is as ethical as using pures. I personally think its a waste of time though. I heard most junk items take forever to gather, and you were better off making the money.
  11. Sigh, here comes another one of those skillcape threads again... So here I am defending my untrimmed Cooking skillcape (Yes, flame me) I'll admit, I pretty much bought my way to that after 90. Judging by some of the people that have posted here, and on my other threads like this, I expected to taunted a *lot* because of it. Amazingly though, in the three months I've had it, I've never been flamed for wearing one, and I've rarely taken it off since, so I know most people at least have some respect for any cape, or at the bare minimum the decency to keep any negative opinions to themselves. Wait, I'm supposed to be defending it, so I'll get to it. Cooking a buyable skill? So is Fletching, Herblore, Prayer, Smithing, Farming, Construction and Firemaking. --------- Should cost really play a part? Not really, Firemaking from 50 to 99 is a mere 4 million, but no one flames that. Herblore, if you had the money, is as easy as Fletching, which to those of you who so, erm, [sarcasm]kindly aired your disdain about[/sarcasm], just that it costs more. Smithing, if you just smithed steel plates all the way, it would take just over 24k banks to get to 99 from my level. Shouldn't take that long, since you use 5 bars in one shot. Is that dissent I hear? What's that you say? I don't have 99 Smithing, how do you know? Same thing, you don't have 99 Cooking, how would you know its easy? ----------- What's that again? You don't respect Cooking and Fletching Skillcapes because so many people have them? HELLO?? At the time of this writing, 41k or so people have Cooking skillcapes, and 41k people having Fletching skillcapes. Also at the time of writing, 41k people have Strength skillcapes. -----------
  12. If you spell Chuck Norris in Scrabble, you win. Forever.
  13. I'd get the black mask if I were you. For one, its cheaper, you need to get cannonballs for the cannon as well (Which are close to 160gp a pop), and secondly, most people get really ticked off when you walk into an area and start cannoning all their kills, which is why I don't like using one.
  14. Definitely a good read, and its all true.
  15. Actually, they kinda tallied what he said with the conversation that Jagex sent him as evidence.
  16. Makes sense, sounds like what I thought initially. Thats one who votes guilty.
  17. After removing the Wilderness and free trade, its unavoidable that they draw flak, and yeah, its reasonable that people resent them for it. Now for mean little MicroLegionnaire to try and poke holes in the man's argument I'm afraid. It says Hitler, Stalin, and all the other autocratic dictatorships manipulated human greed. But to what end? Their own benefit of course. I doubt Jagex has benefited in any way by doing what they've done, aside from rid the game of most bots and real world traders, which was a necessity in this case to keep RuneScape as a whole running, because credit card companies threatened to sue or shut down RuneScape because of the credit card frauds that the RWT's caused.
  18. I just heard that an acquaintance of mine got kicked out of a clan because he reported one of the members for rather lewd language (involving two girls and rather few clothes) in clan chat. Which of course, is an offense under Rule 1 for offensive language. And now he's getting booted out of the clan for doing so because the guy he reported got a 24 hour mute. Is it fair to boot someone out a clan for following RuneScape's rules because another clan member is at the receiving end of the slap from the long arm of the law? Should loyalty to your fellow blood-brothers (And sisters, please don't kill me feminists!) come before the law? Or should the rules that govern have the final say? Ladies and gentlemen of the tipit forums, I present my case, and I now await your verdict. Edit : Feel free to say what you want about my acquaintance, he's an acquaintance, not a friend per say.
  19. Has anyone noticed the new pillar in Varrock where they show how many guards have been pickpocketed in a day?
  20. I definitely agree some randoms should be gotten rid of *now*. The plant, the guard, Molly and her Houdini-like sister, for starters. But I want the classroom and genie to stay. Without them, how would we train stats which are too expensive or troublesome? All those whose Construction, Farming, Slayer, Summoning, or Runecrafting would have languished in mediocrity (<20) without them, please raise your hand.
  21. Monster creating machines? That sounds an awful lot like the concept which Harvest Moon : Rune Factory runs on!
  22. On my first day as a member, I 10k for a pair of desert boots I thought they were white mystic boots, and I thought I found a bargain
  23. I'd say mining for me. I *hate* mining, and I gave up seriously training it after I realized desert wyrms didn't give mining exp for the ores they dug up (Why not?!?!). I hate it even more because its my only skill that isn't ranked :x Besides, the best melee weapons and armour (Everything dragon, whips, godswords, barrows) don't require ore.
  24. Its reduced the burn rate for monks, but at a negligible amount, I think someone from Tipit tested it out once. And I think you do stop burning them at around level 90 to 91. I cooked more than 10k monks on my way to at 90 to 99, didn't burn a single one.
