I'd say an obby shield. Its a lot cheaper than a dragon square, and it doesn't really lose out defence wise. Not a big fan of rune defenders though. Yes, flame me for it. I use a dragon square, acts as bling while still being useful. :D

Don't know about a world for Pyramind Plunder, not sure people even want one, since most plunderers prefer to go solo. There are plus sides to doing it on your own. Means that you can open the sarcophagus and the ark in. Ordinarily, if you did that on a crowded server, people would scream "sacro noob!" at you, since if you let a mummy or a scarab loose, they don't hit just you, they hit everyone in the room.

Not really, except for *really* patient fletchers.

First one I ever joined was called Blessings. Had a brilliant time for awhile, all the events were nicely scheduled since most of the members were in my timezone, lots of guys there were my real life friends. Then some stupid idiot came and spoiled it all with her bimbotic ways. I'd name her, but thats against the rules, so I won't. If she quit the clan, I'd rejoin in an instant.

Hate to go against the crowds, but there are ways of making easy money. I do know a few way to instantly get 10k here, another 20k there, 100k or so over a few days doing nothing, so on. But I honestly wonder who would tell their treasured secret market niches to a random stranger, who would spread it round and spoil the market? I've always wondered why people even bother creating "How to make easy money threads". Answer is usually a) GWD B) Nat Crafting c) Tanning d) Barrows

You could try fishing fishing, I'm in the same boat as you. But I didn't like it. Firstly, not that much profit. Secondly, the stupid spots moved around so much in Shilo, so I'm fishing monks.

He's an f2p player lol, he can't get it, even if he wanted to. I wouldn't though, I don't really like to spend to much on bling like that.

If you found a big group of veteran GWD raiders who are willing to let you tag along, why not?

You can hunt orange sallys, I hunted orange sallys all the way until 59. Then switch to red sallys until about 75-80 hunter, and then switch to red chins. Red chins are really slow at 63, from what I've heard. They aren't really *that* slow, I did them from 63 to 67. Though its probably not as fast as at 80. OT : Falconry is good, but I did grey chins from 53 onwards. They do fetch a decent price.

Range is terrible there, since 4 of the brothers are melee, so their range defense is good. Mage would be a better bet.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm not sure you should be barrowing in the first place, given how your mage and range aren't ranked, so I'm guessing they're in the 50's region. Melee is a no go at your stats, or even mine! Do you even have protection prayers? Because if you don't, you definitely shouldn't even set foot in that place at your level! If you really want to go though, I'd suggest Mystic Robes with chaos gauntlets, so at least your bolt spells would be good.

I lost my abby whip and a full rune set when I got pked after pking a bot green dragon hunter. It was my first rune set that I had for a year too... :cry:

Amen brother, some people are just angry that the three digit combat club just got a lot less exclusive with Summoning. That's true. People with 80 and lower melee skills are in the 100+ group. Ridiculous. I'm afraid I'm going to disappoint you, I'll all set to join that group... :(

Like most people, the name I wanted, Air Dragon, was already taken. Along with Air Dragon 1 to 14, so I settled on 15!

Well, I wouldn't say its THE most useful skill, though I fully agree that you meet lots of morons in Castle Wars, and that it is pretty handy, I love my macaw. (Double ranarr drop ftw!) I'm trying to get to 52 to see what all the fuss is about with terrorbirds, though I'm a little short on funding :( OT : People generally regard anything they can't fully understand or obtain with disdain (Hey, that rhymes!). If I remember right, 1 to 16 Summoning costs close to 80k. Save Construction, I can't think of skill that costs that much to train. There's a guide somewhere by this guy called Smavey, it shows how useful most familiars can be, but it probably got lost in the rollback.

Lol, I used to think I was unlucky too, never gotten any dragon drops before, save an obby maul once. Then I got a Guthan's Spear on my...5th time at barrows lol! But that aside, most of my 24mil came from skilling.

I can understand how frustrating that is, but there really isn't any way that JaGex can prevent the masses from trying out new updates immediately, and besides, the crowds always die away quite (A few days tops) fast once the novelty of it all wears off. I'm just happy that JaGex has released something that has *not* been detrimental to gameplay. :) Good luck with your slaying, hope you don't get any dreary tasks like mine (I HATE turoths) :cry:

So what would happen if you bought 5k fire runes, added another 5k fire runes you already had, then tried to sell it? Would the Exchange sell the 5k you added normally, or what?

All seem to the same to me, haven't seen any difference in the number of randoms I get, nor the rewards I get from them. By the way, does anyone know what randoms will get removed? Hope they keep the genie and the classroom one.

JaGex has cut away quite a few ways which people would transfer cash around. The Pharoah's sceptre trick for one. People buy a charged one from one guy, and use up all the charges before selling it back to him as an uncharged sceptre, which was worth about 60k less, transferring 60k to the other guy. Now a charged one is worth the same as an uncharged one.
