  1. With such a large update you could only assume there will be glitches. I'm just really surprised at how few there were. From what I assume, the safespots were caused by the small fix they did. Most likely somewhere in the code of your avatars movement messed with safespots. Chances are Jagex can rewrite the code a bit, if so.
  2. -.- -.- -.- Common sense, Fail. Look at the spellbook. What new buttons have been added since yesterday. #-o
  3. To throw us all off, they are going to bring out the next skill, the new fairy quest, and the new dwarf quest, as well as releasing Mechscape and announcing the merge between Jagex, Blizzard, Bungie, and Micro$oft.
  4. Monkfish is also mostly fished outside the coast of Norway and is in Norwegian "breiflabb", brei means broad and flabb doesn't mean anything. Also it's ugly like hell. [hide=][/hide] And we eat that crap without skinning, or de-boning it?!?!
  5. Spot the glitch...? This is my cousins picture, not mine.
  6. Maybe it's just me, but I don't feel like risking my entire account just to get a few useless placeholders
  7. This sounds like an amazing small update :)
  8. Just a brilliant thought. If you were to have a experience lamp in your inventory from a quest, then were to drop it via the bank, then go back to the person you got it from and ask for another one... Would that break the game?
  9. All items carried by a familiar, whether it dies, times out, you die, or you dismiss it, will drop to the ground under where the familiar was standing. It's best to carry a second or even third pouch for safety measures. You can then use the renew familiar button so that your items don't drop to the ground.
  10. I'll back that up. I got my first left half today, and I was logged on to see the release of the Legends Quest. I've played around 7 years and it's taken me that long to get a left half.
  11. From my short experience, and from what I've read here on TIF: The aviansies outside of the armadyl area (the KC area) are better to kill. They are generally lower level and have less HP, therefore will bring in more GP. However, it would take a more experienced ranger to confirm this. If in that case, you would need a Zammy, Sara and arma item to be on the safe side. A zammy item may not necessarily be required at all times, however a sara item is.
  12. I would get it. I got void range a few months ago and only used it for 2 range levels. However, I never regret getting it because it opens up so many opportunities. At any point I ever find myself in need of the void set, I won't have to dismiss that opportunity because it would take too long to get. Get it now while you have the chance :) Because if you wait too long, you will only find yourself pushing it further and further away.
  13. #2 & 3. Oh and thanks to DK, the cool cousin who just got his partyhat :)
  14. Well think of all the F2P items there are. Then do the math. If you buy 20k lobsters in F2P for 277 gp each at market price, then they rise 20 GP and you sell them for max, that is a 34 GP gain per lobster. Which when calculated is 680k GP gained in one day. Then add the possibility of swordfish, tuna, coal, iron, addy, rune, discontinues, gems, and pk gear. By the time you've got yourself into 5 or so different items then you can look at 2-5m gained a day.
  15. It's not your computer, it is the user. Next time save it as a PNG file instead of a JPG.
  16. Around 7 years of playing and I get my first left half :)
  17. Guthans is not a good choice. Their mage attack with rape you before you have time to heal.
  18. Don't play Runescape :) Wait for Star Wars: The Old Republic, which in my opinion looks simply outstanding. If you are looking to play any MMO, this should be the one to look forward to. You could also wait a bit, and see what Mechscape has to offer. It's been said many times by Jagex that the game will feature a distinct Game Play, that of which we have never seen before. It could be very promising.
  19. You don't have to range in a TD team. If you go into a massacre, you're likely to never need range, and if you do a small team chances are you won't need range as well. However, I prefer range because of the safespot, so I don't waste prayer pots.
  20. A lot of things take skill that you just can't see, and although it isn't fast paced skill, it is still skill. Slayer, for one, takes plenty of skill to train properly. You have to know where the monster is, what the monster is weak to, if you need certain items, the best set-up, if prayer is needed, if it uses magic based attacks, if the area is in Multi-Target, if it is best to use a BoB instead of any other familiar, and the list can go on. Sure, that isn't directly skill, however it is quite a lot of knowledge to be had. You have to know things and must be pretty nifty and smart to remember specific details of every monster. Solo Merchanting is one of the most skillful parts of any MMO I have seen. It isn't remembering when to click, or fast passed reactions that can grinded to perfection, or boss killing, or other sorts of skill. It is truly a skill that can only be had with brains and knowledge. I can beast at Halo any day with practice and constant training, but only does Merchanting require pure genius and planning.
  21. Either !!!, or exclamation!, or #$@%.
  22. "Make no mistake, we can up the polygons in MechScape dramatically and have parity with any kind of game that's out at the moment. The problem is, that would remove or reduce the accessibility. We still say we want the same experience, but we don't accept the cost in terms of space and bandwidth and everything else. And we had to build the solution to that ourselves."
