Potting for your slayer tasks?
Super Set on ANYTHING you kill. I don't care what it is. You could be killing chickens for all I care. Not only will you be getting better xp, but chances are you will have to eat less (especially with an EE). Don't even mess with a DBaxe or any of that crap. It's such a hassle, and a waste of a special. Also always bring an EE, no matter what. If your trip lasts you an hour, that's like bringing an extra 12 sharks.

4th September 2009 -Machinima Competition- Cast Your Votes!
Excl's video was horrible to be honest. I've never understood such fake humor like that. It's the type of humor T.V. and Media Brain-Feeds the generations of now. It was in no way original, as anyone with half a second could come up with his idea. The parts that were supposed to be funny made me sick. The least he could of done is create an ongoing joke that leads to a climactic ending where you're left puzzling at how the ended came to be. The only video I thought was worth mentioning, however, was the Free Mith Sword video. His use of music and sound was lovely. The ending "Rain Drops" song was completely unneeded though. The editing wasn't five star, however the execution and suspense and use of sounds instead of dialog kept it entertaining and made me want to see how the end would come to be.

What is happening to pumpkins/disks?
People buy them out because they know other people will buy them for 100m. Once people notice these rares are unbuyable on the GE, they go to the forums to sell them off. Also depending on what junk you buy it with, it could be a wealthy investment to buy the item.

Personalized Shops and Long-term Effects
Well if the next skill is a merchanting skill, then this update makes perfect sense and the stocks, prices, and speeds of restocking will most likely be relative to your level in the skill. If so, chances are prices will not change at all.

All Skills 70+
The fastest way to train RC is WGS. Trust me, it will be worth it. Just put the 400k xp you get from the quest on RC, and you will certainly be one happy camper, as you didn't spend half your life on a boring skill.

You can always count on players to never give an update a shot. Whine whine whine. It's all people can do, apparently. Last night I saw a topic on RSOF, and despite being a RSOF thread it had a great point. Everyone judges an update by the amount of bugs that comes with it, ignoring the update itself. Except the update itself, is not that great. Considering there was no negatives with the change from RT4 to RT5, other than the few bugs that will be fixed with time, it's easy to say this update was actually really great. I know you're blind right now, but you will learn within time that every update is a positive influence to this game. Every update teaches them how to do something new, and with so many things on the horrizon now from this switch of game engines I could only imagine they have a lot of new stuff in hand ( * Sky boxes * Particle effects * Bloom lighting effects (HD only) * Water reflections (HD only))

Please Andrew! Please please please do whatever it is to do to numb the luck factor in this game. Luck in this game is not a good thing. The only thing you would be taking away is the annoyance of bad luck.

Not at all, it will give Jagex the ability to greatly improve the look and compatability of Runescape. If your reasoning for the being junk is the bugs and glitches, it has been explained countless times in countless other update threads why they are there. They made the graphics look worse in SD and the bugs r annoying but im not complaining about these as much as how its mostly a downgrade, im quitting for a lil while until this is fixed up... You're quitting for a while because of a few bugs and how the graphics look, maybe, a little worse? Everything Jagex is doing right now is preparing to make RS much better in the future. Ill take a week of bugs for that. Amen to that! :D The graphics don't look worse. It's called a change, and not many people like to give in to change. The graphics actually look better, in technical terms. It's like saying RSC looked much better than RS2. Technically, that statement is not true, but your grasp for nostalgia makes you take hold of something you don't have anymore. For the bugs? I haven't seen anything big enough to make me upset. So what if safespotting is gone for now, it's not like you ever need to safespot anything but a few bosses, which isn't that big of a deal.

Easier to get your first 99 then your second and so on?
All of my 99 skills have been easy to get. However, 99 Thieving was the one that was the hardest. I took around a month or so break at 90 because the fact that I wasn't training an AFK skill was lame.

I don't see what's so bad about them. It's called change. Get used to it. Staring at the same thing for years upon years is boring. Change is needed to keep things moving.

Most bugs are only present when tens of thousands of people are present. Now I don't know much, but I do know that Jagex' QA team isn't made up of 100,000 people.

Best way to make money these days...havent played in 2 years
If you're worrying about money this early in the game then you are going to ruin your experience of the game. Do stuff that is fun. If you find nothing to be fun in this game, then you might as well quit early. Once you get the money to buy the stuff you are aiming to get, you will have nothing else to do in the game. Take it slow.

Any good place to use Halberd?
There is no good place to use a halberd. Anywhere that would seem like a good place, can just as well be better by attacking directly with a whip.

First off, I hate graphical updates. In my eyes, they're a waste of time and make the game increasingly animeish to appeal to Jagex's chosen demographic. Because of this, the medieval feel of Runescape is slowly eroding. Additionally, now I have to mess with the newer interface in SD as well. The main reason why I played SD was to avoid the interface in HD- I loathe it. They did not change the old interface. [hide=Don't believe me?] [/hide] You don't have to mess with the re-sizable screen at all.

Re: Need a little advice
You'll find that it's not really an AFK way to train once you get into it. Every kill your going to either be picking up the item (planks, herbs, etc.) and on the kills without a good drop you'll be picking up the charms. Get a bunny. It's useful in any combat situation. In fact, keep on saving up charms and level up when you have enough. From 1 to 99 summoning, there is never a useless level. Being able to summon two bunyips without sipping a potion is worth it.

I guess you turned your head when the whole RuneTech5 client was announced. The Game Engine had to be updated some day. Most, if not all, content released in the past year and years to come could not be released on RT3.

Your true problem is that you are stuck in the past. The minimap will match if you play the game in HD. The interface never changed. You can still use the old Small Client. Text was fixed. The lighting never changed, but the ground blending does make things seem different.

How long did those 5 whips take? I was thinking about camping then for my last k xp to 99 attack. I'd estimate, 8 to 10 bunyips. I can't remember.

Seems like MechScape is Stellar Dawn
Since I don't want to take away the glory from Ren over at MechscapeWorld, I'll give you the link to his findings and the post that he put up. http://www.mechscapeworld.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=9060 Ren is simply the master at finding things out. I give all credit to him.
