I would go straight to the rares forum, and buy up every offer there is for a few weeks or a month. Then I would turn on camtasia and record myself alching all the rares I bought. I'd then go to PvP and risk the rest of the cash I had in one fight (probably fight in 3rd age and a blue hat, healing with pumpkins and easters). There is no point in the game if you have no goal. Might as well make the game fun for the lols.

Seems like you are trying to show off rather than ask a legitimate question. If by any chance you truly want to know if you should get 99 smithing, then the answer is it's up to you. It's just one level, so how are we going to convince you. You might as well do whatever you want to do, because we can't decide for you.

fat klutz, People have been using the GE to merchant since the week it came out. Ever since it was released there have been items held waiting for a rise. However, never has there been such an increase of prices on every single item in the game. If you look at the charts for every traded item, there will be a general rise of prices. To top that off, the day the new PvP system was released was when prices started to rise.

Agreed. The GE should charge some sort of convenience fee (a certain percentage of the final value of the item) that should be paid by both the seller and buyer. Even if it was a small percent (<1%) , it would still make a difference because of the volume of trades that go through the GE. Is that before or after the PvP drops are changed to not bring in as much pure cash each kill? Because with the current system, 1% on each item will not do a single thing.

DO NOT WANT WANT INDIFFERENT Honestly the reason I'm retiring from RuneScape is THOSE TWO THINGS. They are great and all but take time. I want a game without skills and exp. :) then go play an fps or rts. dont try to make an mmo into an rts plz. Stellar Dawn will not be a Real Time Strategy game. It will be a game that requires little to no grinding and a more mature storyline. Just because you are not used to seeing an MMORPG without skills or Experience does not mean it will be a bad game. Every MMO out there today is the same thing with the same grind and the same skills with the same gameplay. What's the point in Jagex making a new game if it will be the same as the first. What you have to realize is Jagex is setting the new gameplay for Sci-Fi games. Once Stellar Dawn is released, chances are other companies will be soon to copy what Jagex sets. There are so many MMO's out there today, it's surprising to say the least. All of them have the XP per level and equipment at level and ability at level, however none of them have anything unique compared to the others. Personally, if Stellar Dawn turned out to be an FPS I would be completely content. Think of Fallout 3 meets MMO. Fallout 3 being a game with no level requirements, skills, or xp.

If everyone gets taxed the same percent, it will do nothing but cause havoc. People will no longer trade with GP. They will invest in stable junk such as needles and shards. Instead of using the GE for trade they will use the forums, thus bringing the economy at a stand-still with prices because price changes revolve around the GE.

You can't get banned for AFK training because there is no proof or evidence that you were ever away from the keyboard. The truth is, it's Jagex scare factor that keeps too many people from doing it. Although you never know, Jagex might go old school on you. They do have to ability to teleport your character to a special Mod Room. Chances are, if you were to log out after being teleported you will be banned on the spot. I wish they would start doing this again. Maybe they could get 2 or 3 JMods to world hop and teleport anyone attacking spiders with mage and armor in the lumbridge cellar.

It's still soloable, you've just got to not get hit. No one will take a whip/defender even if you are maxed combat. Most of the time they deny BGS. Teams will take rangers, but the cheapest method is melee anyways.

You have way too much crap and are wasting cash on items you don't need. Sell all your summoning pouches except the ones you actually use. Don't be stingy either, just get rid of them. Basically keep Bunyip, Unicorn and Steel Titan. Get rid of most of your seconds as well because chances are you will not need to summon something that will give you less xp. Sell the farming stuff. I can't think of a single reason to even have hops or random flower seeds. Only keep seeds you actually use because they rest are a waste of space. You have too much food. Keep the pizzas and sharks. Buy higher healing food if you ever need it, but chances are you won't. I'm going to assume you have a cash pile in the GE or Inventory. However if you don't have any more cash than 600k, then you might want to look into selling that pure essence or the random 2k prayer pots.

If you craft effectively, the tanning spot will not matter. You tan your hides, then craft them on the way back to the bank. It would be much quicker xp if you plan to tan them. However I advise against tanning them yourself. It's not worth the time tbh.

Essentially, herblore does reflects your combat level. If you have a high herblore level, you are generally going to be a higher combat. If you have a low herblore level, chances are you are a lower combat. The one thing I don't get is why a lot of pkers wanted the removal of these potions. It couldn't have been pures complaining that other pures will own them, because we all know the point of being a pure is hiding your true strength then hitting hard when people least expect it. There was no way it was the rich high level pkers complaining, because they've got the cash to spend on the skill. In no way was it clawers/rushers because they don't actually take damage when it comes down to it. It must have been the middle level rune pkers complaining because they would of had to put time in the game to play, which is faulty in itself. Why would they complain, if in order to get KO's you need an AGS, and the time spent saving up for an AGS is more time than gaining 50m and getting 90 herblore. The way to look at it, is that 90 herblore is like an AGS. It's going to be well worth it in the long run, and getting it will take a while. My only problem is that Jagex decided to jump up and balance combat with higher hitting equipment. We don't need to hit higher until we can get more HP.

Never. Every time I've been teled by the RoL at boss fights I could have easily tanked and healed. Just recently it teled me at SGW, which was just a waste of time because I was going to heal anyways. However, I still take the rings because I'm stubborn.

That's a 4 hour trip. I was on my fourth unicorn with 10 minutes left, when all of a sudden one of hour guys died. Then we got this :)

I like how the general population of people are pissed at Jagex' decision to take the potions away from PvP. I know for a fact Jagex members read the Tip It Forums. If you are reading this now, content team, you have obviously messed up. Could you meet at a honest medium and create separate potions for PvP. Have a Magic potion that boosts 30% instead of 40. Make melee potions that give a little bit less boost than the extreme pots. Make range potions that are the same as extreme. Then take away the herblore level needed to make them, and release their seconds through PvP drops. Perhaps have an NPC that mixes the potion for you.

How about a prayer that doesn't drain at all, however makes your hair freakishly long spiky and gold, takes away your eyebrows, and gives you a gold glowing field of energy.
