  1. Honestly, people who say Video Games (runescape included) are bad for you and should be shunned upon are just looking for a reason to disagree with something. Video games invoke and encourage creativity and problem solving skills, while administering hand eye coordination training and decision making practice. In Runescape, specifically, you learn right from the start what it means to save your money. You learn that if you want to own more money you have to increase that money some how, and to not spend it. As well, most importantly, in the economic side of things: you learn the ins and outs of a mixed economy. You learn supply and demands, elasticity, and many sorts of economic side effects, such as if one thing happens another thing will happen in turn. I've personally increased my know-how of the internet, in an internet growing world. Most people, mainly older beings, who say Video Games and internet activity is a bad thing simply cannot comprehend what the world is going into. They still haven't caught grasp that the skills, we the next generation, acquire while over the internet will be put into use every day in the present future. The world is thriving on an interweb-tacular society, and everything we do today over the internet and on Video Games will be put in to use in our everyday lives.

  4. The one part of this game that you aren't required to grind...and you plan on grinding it? Why not just kill things. It's that simple.

  6. Stones = Rune Stones. Rune = RUNEscape RUNEscape in Motion... A MOTION PICTURE FILM BASED ON RUNESCAPE!

  8. Just buy it for over the GE price off the forums. Make sure the junk offered is STABLE, or else you will have a hard time getting your money back. Sell the junk off, lend out stuff, buy shards for under price. There are plenty of things you can do to get rid of junk.

  10. [hide=yt vid][yt]HStE88Rwllw[/yt][/hide] I don't get why they called people idiots when they killed them. "haha idiot, way to not block my glitched attack!" some sad people out there. Not to mention how stupid they must feel when they get a ban. Considering they plastered their RSN all over YT.

  12. I will have to completely agree with you on this. It's complete BS that I can manage to hit a 0 on a level 3. I mean, I am at the end game content right now, as I've got maxed melee stats. However, for some reason beyond my knowledge my character, after countless hours or training and fighting, manages to miss the person all together.
  13. Monster drops need to stop being random. It's really disappointing grinding a single monster for hours without getting a single rare drop, however someone multiple levels under you getting the drop the first kill. With the system in place right now, it is completely possible to max your account and go without a single rare drop. Unlikely, but possible. There are people today who are simply just unlucky, which should be recognized.
  14. Defense is a myth. Use a defender instead of a book. The increased attack bonus will decrease the fight times, thus increase your chance of not getting hit.
  15. You'll learn that the items you have always wanted aren't as spectacular as they seemed like when you couldn't get them once you get them. You'll learn that once you've got the money, the items are nothing special. Once you hit 100m, you're in the life of a clone. You will look like everyone else. You will train like everyone else. There is nothing special, and you will find that money was not the answer all along: it was the experience you had getting it. :) Or at least that's what happened to me :P
  16. Use the help and advice forums.
  17. Once I got over 100m I did get bored a little. But then I finally gave in and started spending my money. If you buy up skills or use money where money won't come back, then you can easily keep yourself entertained. I always try to stay in the triple digits, and as soon as I fall under 100m I make my money back. I usually have pure cash.
  18. A red bead drop from an Imp looks just like a santa hat :) Considering the ashes are white and the bead is red.
  19. Yes. Edit: Cost of 80-88 summoning [hide=Before][/hide] [hide=After][/hide]
  20. Of course, 180k before you minus the 120k from dead seeds.
  21. People keep saying it will drop, which is crazy. The only reason for it to drop is when enough merchanters get their hands on them to be able to freak out about it dropping. However, because the Dragon Pickaxe is so insanely rare and hard to get, there are little merchanters able to get their hands on one. How many Pick drops have you seen in the "Post RS Pictures Here" thread? I've seen a couple; I'd say 10 to 15. That's an incredibly low amount of drops if you look into it. Even from personal experience, the most amount of picks I've seen in the thousands of kills I've got is around 6 different people. This thing is rare. It will drop for a day or two, but then rise straight back up. The demand is still way too high.
  22. I'm having trouble understanding your logic... :? Snapdragon Seed = 62.9k. (Source) Grimy Snapdragon = 12k. (Source) Let's do the math. 62.9k divided by 12k is 5,2416. Which means, if one of your Snapdragon Seeds dies while in the process of growing, you just lost 5 herbs. With that said, you as well do not gain the 6 herbs you could of possibly received. However, with Toadflax if your seed dies in the process of growing, you only need to gain one more herb to have doubled the cost of the seed. (Source) Toadflax is a much more safe seed to work with, as you can easily lose 3 of your patches in one run. Unless you plan on visiting each patch every 20 minutes or so, which would be unreasonable, Toadflax is the best seed to use.
  23. Toadflax. If your herb dies with ranarr/snaps you will lose 5 to 6 herbs plus the herbs you could of gotten, whereas with toadflax if it dies you only lose 1 herb.
  24. I found it within 10 seconds. I'm not even going to help you here because you could of easily found it like I did, and will do so if someone hasn't already given you the link.
