  1. The BSS is definitely worth it. Use a BSS for the fight caves, without a doubt. There is no negative range bonus, it has a prayer bonus, and good defense.
  2. Sell it for cash and junk, then sell the junk right back. Most junk is easy to get rid of, and falling junk will rise soon or later.
  3. Most pictures are resized by the forums to not stretch the screen. If you want to see the full sized image just click on it like it says... Unless there are link tags wrapped around the image code. Then you are kinda in a pickle.
  4. EVERYONE: When you post a picture remember to take the link tags out of it. This mainly refers to people posting pictures directly off of Swift Kit. If the picture has the link tags in it, there is no way to view it at it's original size because clicking on the picture takes you to the linked site.
  5. I personally ended up using youtube for the light puzzle because Tip.it and RuneHQ both had different images for what the mirror looks like in game. It was updated even so, so they were both wrong and ultimately confusing. Youtube also paid off because somewhere in both the guides they failed to tell a vital step, which I caught on to when I couldn't go any further.

I say use it on whatever skill you do not like training. However if that skill has no real use, such as hunter or firemaking, us it on RC, Mining, or Agility. Remember, it is 4 different sets of 100k xp. So you can actually get 100k xp in 4 different skills.
  7. The grand exchange perhaps. You can now invest in some corrupt dragon armor in F2P. However, it will disappear after a certain amount of time and looks decrepit. There is a new skill in the works, which has been confirmed by Jagex as an F2P and P2P skill. It's been rumored to be released sometime in the first quarter of 2010: most likely around the release of Stellar Dawn. Which brings me to Stellar Dawn, Jagex' second MMO. Clicking my signature's picture will send you to the first Fan Site for Stellar Dawn. There are a lot of interesting topics on their forum, and a lot of gathered information about the game, including interviews with Jagex confirming game mechanics. Stellar Dawn was originally Codenamed Mechscape, however with a little snooping around the Billing Page's html and checking the Java Applet it has been found to be called Stellar Dawn.
  8. I understand you want to get angry. Hey, it's acceptable to be rude to people when there is anonymity in the works. Yes there is a new RS and an old RS. The new one is released every time there is an update to the game, and the old one is the one left behind when the new game is out. It's called an update: Jagex changed the game, thus making it play differently than it once had. Oh but it isn't just your herblore skill. If you have skills that are not par to another player, you will not have the advantages that your fellow player has. Most people who want to not be sucky train their account so that the suck ceases to be. Being better than someone certainly does not come free. You've got to spend time to be better than someone, and this update proves my statement. Things do not come free all the time. Sometimes you have to work in order to get something. Some things are harder to work for than others. Okay okay I'll make it even. In order to buy these potions you had to trade the shop 60m in 100 gp increments. It would take the same time as getting herblore to 90, however less people would complain because it is disguised. Herblore is available to anyone who is a member. Come and get it; it's not shy. It costs 60m and a bit of training. Which if you want to be on top of the game, you're going to need a bit of training. If your complaint is because you have to train something now, then you are obviously looking for reasons to whine.
  9. Actually you are wrong. The old RS was a game where combat and non-combat did not mix. That was because Jagex simply had not added the part where they meet yet. Now that Jagex added this content, the game is the New Runescape. You better get used to it, because it's not going away. Now to reason. Max hits are increased to the players that train their herblore high enough. Which means, if you have a sucky account you will end up less likely to be of advantage. Let's use an example. What if these potions were tradable, and were sold by a shop that you have to pay 60m in order to let the guy sell to you. Holy [bleep], I think I just described the basics of this update. The shop is the herblore skill, and the 60m is the cash it takes to get 90 herblore. However, people would not complain about the update if these potions were sold by a shop like that. It's just that people are such [bleep]s that they have to find something to complain about. Thanks bye.
  10. My idea all along was for an item/prayer that auto buries bones when you get the kill. Who actually picks up and buries every bone they get? There are so many wasted bones, that I could of had 99 prayer by now. I don't see why prayer needs to be so expensive. There should be alternative methods that are free or less expensive, that don't include a minigame.
  11. People complain because there isn't enough high level content, but when the gears effect happens they complain because high level content is already out. I wish they wouldn't release so much high level content, it ruins the game in the future. Well they are catching up to the 5 years without high level content.

  13. Lame Donkey is Lame. He died a slow death, as we carelessly watched his health hit zero. Haha sorry dude :P
  14. Haloscott3: Here you go. Replace the 'yourname' with...your name. Lol.
  15. HOOOOOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No.. not hooray. This just means more people will just steal your spawns instead of being courteous and switching servers. No, this means less people will steal your spawns if you are quick enough. It no longer matters about who has the best connection. I don't think you understood the fix completely. This will prevent people with "good" IP addresses always winning of those with "bad" IP addresses. This was especially an issue in castle wars games where some people always got the flag when dropped, just because they had a (near) perfect IP. It's pretty frustrating to know no matter how good you are, you'll never win. Connection still has a big influence however, if you lagg a bit and therefore don't click at exactly the right moment, you still won't get the flag (or spawn or whatever). Which is exactly why it is a good thing. Your IP will not matter anymore, so whoever clicks the flag first will get the flag rather than the person with the best IP. Lag will always effect online games, and I can't think of a single way to fix it other than to get a new computer and internet provider.

  17. Lol you can't join Clan Chats atm.
  18. Did you solo or ffa it? Looking at his inventory and chat, he did not solo it.
  19. Actually it's not all that rare. Because defense doesn't mean anything in a PvP situation and hitting on other players is all random, it is extremely occurring to hit low against someone 38 levels under you. There have been times when playing in Castle Wars or Soul Wars where I simply hit extremely low against people who should not have been hit low against. Defense should play a much larger role in this game. If my attack completely trumps a players defense, there should be no chance of me missing a single hit. In fact, if my attack is high enough compared to the others defense, there should be a minimum that I could hit, rather than randomly hitting zero through ninety. How about, if my attack is 50 levels over their defense, the chances of me hitting the number 0 through 15 is exponentially lower than hitting 16 through my max hit. Then it keeps up with the percentages, making for a much less random combat style. Of course, the higher hits would be less likely to hit than the in between hits, but that would be for keeping a system where you don't hit your max every turn.
  20. Yay I was right :) I got 30m xp right at the end of season 5 of Weeds. By the way, that's a great mature show to watch. Be warned there may be nudity, and the whole concept of the show is about drugs, but it's more than that and a great way to get 14m extra cooking xp.
  21. Haha thanks guys, I think. I hadn't even realized I was using a large vocabulary until you guys pointed it out. The first few paragraphs start out a little extravagant, however you can tell near the middle I stop using an expanded vocabulary. After the second paragraph I realized what I was actually writing about, as this little story has a much deeper meaning than you would think it does. I'll look into the paragraph structure to see what I could have done better. I certainly won't stop here. This is just another stepping stone to my masterpiece :)
  22. They tried that with barbarian assault. What we need is a boss with 20,000 hit points, but low defense. There is no reason that a boss has to have high defense, thus making him horrible xp. What if that boss' true reward was the XP gained, instead of an incredible tradeable drop. Which brings me to my next point: cash isn't everything. How about making the boss drop a wonderful item, however make it untradable. You've got yourself the fastest xp in the game, an incredible item to use, and a nonsoloable boss. Done.
  23. You could always calculate it yourself. Just make an automated guess of 1k bows an hour, then you can find the rough estimate.
