  2. Is this an essay you've written for a piece of school work? I'm just wondering, because I had to do the same style essay on the same film back in year 10 for English Language. Anyway, you have picked up on many points, but I think that the structure isn't the best. You should have a few sentences (or paragraphs) outlining the story, then use the rest of the space to analyse the features. I say this because a lot of the essay is essentially telling the story and picking up a few points along the way. Use PQC/PEE/PQE (Point-Quote-Comment/Point-Example-Explain/Point-Quote-Explain) to judiciously pick features to analyse (such as the misunderstanding of Derek Bentley's proclamation of 'Let him have it!' arising from the equivocation of the phrase 'Let him have it' and contextual factors that affect the perceived meaning with the officers that heard it). Anyway, I'm being too much like a teacher. I do like it (though the colour is a little hard to read on my screen).
  3. Westlife - What about Now.
  4. Sand. Especially walking barefoot. Just horrible.
  5. I've used about 30 spaces of whatever I have available as a free player.
  6. Check this directory for the mentioned file: c:\windows\system32\wdmaud.sys This can be the source of the problem. Note that if you have a file in that directory called wdmaud.drv, do not delete it.
  7. You accessed his forum thread, which seems to have stated specifically that he was just lending it out. So again I will state that you scammed him. I do not care so much to the fact that you made a ridiculous amount of profit in doing so, just that you seem to be morally inept or just socially apathetic.
  8. The guy who was lending out the armour was being honest and trustworthy, while you abused this trust, and ruined it for other people. While you may have paid him for the Armour, he did not actually want to sell it, so you have taken the item away from him, and therefore it is scamming. Playing runescape has nothing to do with your post count. I used to play a lot, and have barely any posts, while people who barely play at all have a huge amount of posts. Posts prove nothing, and your moral compass certainly points in the opposite direction.
  9. I think no further discussion is needed :)
  10. I like Keane, but seriously? I didn't count, but about 10 of their songs are on that list. The only one worth it was Bedshaped. The only other song I agree with on that list is Bon Jovi - It's My Life. Not enough variety.
  11. I want to enter, but I'm having a hard time coming up with something that isn't cliched. If I get something then I'll enter.
  12. Thanks :P Yeah, it was just under a year ago that I started at w46 Ape Atoll :o I was there from about End of December to Mid February, were some of the best days on Runescape for me :)
  13. My personality has completely changed in a month, though I expect it's different for everyone.
  14. I get 37.5xp when smelting Adamantite bars with superheat, which to my knowledge, is what you receive for normally smelting bars.
  15. And If any of you have anything negative to say, I'll delete your post :) (Note that i'm joking, it's called power abuse) Thanks :D
  16. Such a sad state of affairs these days for photographers, or, as I should say, anyone with a digital SLR. On 24th November, I went to London on a college trip, with about 50 other students, and obviously, my DSLR. At about 12:30 we were given 45 minutes to wander around (and near, but not too far away) Trafalgar square. During these 45 minutes, I stayed with 3 other friends, and proceeded to do some street photography. A large part of Street photography is remaining unseen and inconspicuous, and being part of a group at a famous landmark seemed to work, or so I thought. About 20 minutes in, I took a photograph of a Policeman (he wasn't facing me when I took it, so I don't know why I got singled out). Moments later, he approached me and said that he wanted to go through the files on my camera under section 44 (Basically, an officer is allowed to search through your items without any reasonable level of suspicision). I was promptly told that (as he saw the picture of himself) I had to delete the file, which, under photographer's rights, is not legal. A police officer cannot make you delete any image which you have taken, so I proclaimed this fact to him and was told that I may receive a caution for having 'an attitude'. At this point, I gave up. Fighting an over-powered, mis-guided and idiotic system just isn't what I wanted to concern myself with. He let me go (he didn't get me to delete the file). I think that his view on the situation was wrong (not just because I'm the victim). If he had told me to stop photographing because I was on private property (Trafalgar square is privately owned), then I would have immediately stopped, as I know that if I am approached and told to stop photographing on private property, I am required to stop. This seems to be happening every day in the UK. I've seen about 4 different stories just in December about Police officers stopping photographers under section 44, even after all Police have received a letter telling them to ease up on the policing. I stick to Landscape, Macro and photography like that, so it is not a huge concern for me, but I do think that section 44 is becoming a joke. It's also very annoying when doing things that are perfectly innocent. And, just to get some e-revenge, here is the photo that almost got me a caution.
  17. He didn't say the people were wrong in general, just that they weren't a valid sample to acquire statistical data about a 16-year-old's willingness to have loveless intercourse. I see your point. I should have taken some caffeine to wake myself up >.<
  18. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, not all women want "care-free sex", especially at 16. You know the wrong people then, and no I'm not introducing, find your own women. No such thing as wrong people, just different people. Or, maybe those who do not have loose morals.
  19. I'm stuck in a situation where I have 3 options (lucky me :P). One of them has pretty much said that she wants to go out with me, and the other two I'm working on, just gotta see how far I can get before deciding.
