  1. I remember viewing this through telnet. It was pretty awesome.

  3. Windows 7 is much more scalable than Vista (was). It will be running on really low-end netbooks (though without the aero features, for obvious reasons).
  4. If I was in that relationship, I would have had a blood test the first time after having unprotected sex. Not that I wouldn't have trusted the person, but it's always better to be safe.
  5. With my budget, I'm not aiming for the best build quality or perceptive feel, rather, I'd have the best performance for my money.
  6. Feeder - Pictures of Pain (Cement Version)
  7. Oh thats another point that I forgot to mention. I don't like Gloss finish laptops (or any other device for that matter), especially when they are black, as they suck fingerprints off you. It's not a big problem though.
  8. I have finally given in, and have decided to purchase a laptop. My budget is fairly limited, but then, I don't really intend to be playing games on it. I'm looking mostly at school work, but I'd like to be able to watch HD video well (My desktop will play 720p very smoothly, but 1080p video will play for 2-3 seconds, then pause for 4 seconds, play another 2-3 seconds and keep repeating this cycle). Therefore, I'd like to buy a Laptop with the possibility of adding RAM (I currently think that 8GB is probably the max I'd go to, anything now is just overkill), just so I can upgrade it instead of buying a new laptop, as well as a Nvidia GeForce graphics card (I really don't like the Built-in chips, like Intel graphics, and I'm not a fan of ATI). HDD size does not matter, since I have some external drives that I'd be using, and preferably the laptop should be dual core (quad core is overkill, and out of my price range). Now that I've make it very difficult to suggest a laptop, I feel i should impose another limit; my budget. I have roughly £555 to spend. So, as a rough breakdown of requirements: 1. 4GB RAM with ability to add more when required. 2. Nvidia Geforce graphics card. 3. Dual Core (though this is pretty much a staple of laptops nowadays, so this shouldn't be an issue) 4. 15.6 Inch screen at least (Though I'd be willing to go to 13.3, if the resolution was quite high). No higher than 17 inch though, because my budget will evaporate. 5. Must be £555 or less including VAT and shipping. The closest I have found is this: http://www.microdirect.co.uk/Home/Product/42482/HP-Compaq-Notebook-Laptop-CQ61-225SA--T4200-4GB However, I do feel that there are laptops with better 'bang for the buck'. Any suggestions are welcome, and I am very grateful for anyone that does take their time to help me. (Before anyone says that I am too picky, I know that I am).
  9. Windows 7 Is much better for drivers and support than Vista or XP ever were. All my hardware was recognised instantly, except for my Belkin Wireless Adapter. I'm stuck with 32bit, until i get a new adaptor, because according to belkin, it doesn't work at all with 64bit. I am very impressed at the actual operating system, and I prefer it greatly over XP.

I had to study that and write an essay on it for my English Language GCSE. It's pretty depressing. On Topic, I'm reading the new Frankie Boyle 'autobiography', with a title that I cannot say :P
  11. I was actually looking at Nottingham Trent! My list was Kingston, Staffordshire, Nottingham Trent and Southampton Solent. I'm looking to study Journalism (BA hons) :)
  12. Noob. A whole packet of custard creams?!?!?!?! Oh dear. I'll be in that situation (sort of) next year, when I go to Uni, though I'm still in the application process at the moment. Which University do you go to (if you don't mind me asking)? I'll give it 7/10, for entertainment value based on this one post :P

Good guess! Yes I am. Do you live in the area? Thanks for the comment guys! :P Really appreciated I live about 18 miles north of Lewes, so quite far away, but I used to go down to Hastings like every month when I was a child, so it just seems familiar. Oh, and the first one is great :)

You wouldn't happen to be from Hastings would you? I recognise the places in the second and third photographs :)
  15. I am currently a Free Player (and haven't played for 4-5 months, but that is irrelevant). I would like to know the best methods to train Smithing with minimal loss and decent speed. Currently, i can think of superheating mithril, but, I already have 99 magic and therefore do not really need to go down this route. Obviously, if it is one of the better methods, then I'll be happy to do it. Any methods that involve breaking even, little loss or making profit are welcome, as long as they are not smelting bars (excluding superheating).
  16. Really? What's the difference between friendship and love if you take sex out of the equation? Sex is the thing I miss most when I'm single. But I do define sex as physical proximity in the large sense. That was just my personal opinion, and therefore does not reflect anyone elses views. I do see what you mean about the friendship and love thing, and I'm not saying sex is wrong or bad or that you'll go to hell for it, but I just can't see why it matters so much.
  17. I don't see why sex matters so much. I'd rather be with someone I want to have a long relationship with, without sex, than short ones with lots of sex. But then, I'm not keeping up with the times am I?

  19. As you said, a lasting friendship is good enough. I start with friendship and then see if anything could happen, rather than seeing everyone as a potential date. Makes it easier for me to be confident. And it's not all that I had in mind, I don't really like her in that way atm, but she's giving out IOIs occasionally, so obviously it's making me interested.
  20. Thats what I intend to do, but, she has already told me that she's interested in another guy, so I'm just building up trust and friendship for now, and see how it works out between her and the other guy :)
  21. Heh, doesn't matter anyway now, My parent's told me we're going out for a meal on Sunday, so i wont be able to go, so i told her that, and all is well (I hope).
  22. I need some help, but in a different way. A girl I like is trying to get me to go to some Christian Youth meetings, and I'm an agnostic. I don't want to start a religious debate with her, but she is really upfront about me going to it. Any advice?
  23. I'd send a bug report to Jagex and quit.
