KG's Blog! -- 2044 TOTAL -- All skills 70+ !
Oh that's nice. I'll join the club soon as I finish another 5 slayer tasks. Then I have that mask too (although I range on almost all my slayer tasks so it's useless for me). ;D Try pk with pink furbie power sometime? Spam Jagex into adding them as a super weapon! Meeeeep!

Eagle Tas's Blog of Glory (13) - 99 Ranged!
The heap of replies - now answered! Issue #1 Alright, I don't normally answer to most replies even though you can be rest assured I read them. So to break my a little bit of a bad habit, I decided to finally sit down and answer some replies individually as I see fit. Hehe, thanks. I love ranged a lot, a bit more than the rest of the combat triangle. Agility used to be an old favourite, but it's tedious so I only get a level a month. Maybe I'll have that skill cape in 3 years? :P In a way, every time someone says "keep up the good work" it makes me cringe, even though I know they don't mean it in such a literal fashion. Runescape and my blog has never been nothing but enjoyable hobbies. I spend a lot of time on it, but I have things going on beside that. For example, I have been working on a game for a few years, I draw a lot and I love to experiment with vegetarian food and baking sweets, cookies and other bakery. Furthermore, I exercise regularly and like to bike, train archery and shooting and endurance running. I may have a special entry now and then about my other interest, but of course, this is still mainly a runescape blog. :) That's what I have been doing for a few months. I touched chins and wasted like 2m on it only to get one silly level. It is not worth it in my opinion. Besides, I love slayer so much anyway. So slaying is my primary ranged training method. I do hunt dragons and other high level monsters as well as go to GWD and fight aviansies for some quick funding of my ranged equipment. ----- I enjoy all the replies I have received. It makes me very happy to see how popular my blog is today. Tomorrow I am going biking around the town to get some of the finishing material I need for the next blog entry (which is half-done already). Expect to see the first in-real life pictures to be posted on this blog! See you all soon!

why do you think RS is in the state it is in
Fey_Warrior's long reply appears to be very good, insightful and well thought-through in my opinion. I'm left stumped as to what to say in return so in the end, I will just silently agree and take his or her words into consideration as he or she adress this topic in such entirety. Applause to you, sir or madam!

Eagle Tas's Blog of Glory (13) - 99 Ranged!
Good evening. I am really tired now, so I am not making a blog entry tonight. However, I am already online. The thing is, we went to Telia's shop near my new home and bought a subscription to a mobile broadband. I got the modem right over the counter, signed a paper and that's it. I am now online without having paid a dime as the mobile companies are practically giving away mobile broadband in order to take their share of the market. That in turn means I won't have to pay for my new broadband before January next year, woot! I am going to take pictures of my new apartment soon, expect a nice real-life related entry very soon. I received a very fine lamp I fell in lamp... love with 2 years ago. I also found 2 boxes of caramels I love and are difficult to find, hehe. I also have a special love and pride that's moving into my new apartment. More of all that in the next blog entry! I love you all, you have no idea how much your comments and continued support means to me. Thank you, and see you all soon on Runescape!

Eagle Tas's Blog of Glory (13) - 99 Ranged!
9th August 2008 - A Heroic Couple For the most part, the blog entries have been about either Linnea or myself. Today however, our achievements were achieved together. Sitting next to each other as we play, love is in the gilenoian air. However, before I go into our adventure together, I wish to enjoy another progress step in my 99 ranged goal. Ta-da! First attempt at getting "gratz". It didn't go too well, missing the screen and not being clear about when to type out the messages. Ah well. Breaking the habit of perceiving our own individual goals, we decided to go on a date by questing on Runescape and thereby overcoming the problems of long-distance love. The question of choise this time landed on the Watchtower quest. So you better watchout! I wish we did, because we were thrown hundreds of meters away by an ogre at a point in the quest. Linnea on the ogre catwalk. Surviving the perils of ogre attacks, knocking teeths out with her blade and my crossbow and talking with strange creatures with even stranger languages, we finally got our reward. Now you will find me in Yanille for more reasons than just using Pastyganster's gilded altar! Why thank you miss, now the two of us have completed Heroes Quest! Following our date, Linnea came home to my house and we completed Heroes Quest together. Now I can recharge my glory amulets - sweet! Now that was a goal I've had a long time. But it's not only I who have completed a goal, Linnea has completed a goal she has had since almost when she started playing. Pride week is over since a while back, but that doesn't me from saying... Whip time! Linnea has achieved Attack level 70 and with that she now has whip! She is really happy over it and we can look forward to see her future progress. From now on it's all awesome! However, it's good byes for now. I am moving in only a few hours and going to sleep for only a few hours. This time it's definite until I get broadband or hop on an internet café. Bye again! Thanks for everything! I love you all so much! P.S. Just going to get 5 hours of sleep tonight. >_<

What do you think will end the human race?
Unfortunately this topic is way too big for me to read through it before posting. However, I do not think any pandemic would be capable enough to wipe out the entire human race simply because there will always be those who are immune. And using the generic "survival of the fittest" theory, this basically would mean the immune gene would be carried on into the next generation, in this sense evolving. Humans are very adaptable and capable thanks to the simple fact we have a thumb and fingers that allow us to make a pinching motion and therefore learned while we evolved how to manipulate objects. In practice this means that unless our natural environment was to be completely wiped out through e.g. global natural disasters, there will always be some of us who survive and reproduce. Even if disasters such as if the ozone layer disappeared and left us unprotected from ionising electromagnetic rays, radioactivity suddenly exploding into such extreme levels that even hiding under earth wouldn't protect us from ray disease (look at atom bomb victims and you get the idea of how deadly that is, it basically is like being drilled with billions of small invisible holes through your entire body. Soviet Russia conducted experiments of sending thousands of soldiers into Chernobyl a week after the explosion to see if they could survive. None of the test subjects did.) and flooding to such extreme layers all land would disappear (which is practically impossible as you would still have himalaya and other high-above-water places) or simply a crazy Dr Paul Leet going berserk with the baby-making - the earth would be covered with so many babies using up all our oxygen, we would instantly die from suffocation. Let's hope Paul behaves until I can meet him irl and have him sterilised...

When are YOU stopping?
I never saw Runescape as a career I commit my life to, or an addiction comparable to smoking. It's just a game and I play it when I want to. However, Runescape is such an awesome game, I log-on to it almost every day because I simply love it. Therefore, I cannot say I'd ever quit playing. How much I play may go up and down however depending on circumstances. And sometimes, I may leave it alone for a few days to spend some time outside or at other things such as real hobbies, school and of course my significant other. With the balance I have, I can continue playing Runescape without it destroying my soul. Life is awesome!

Who here hates the sandwich lady?
If you've ever gotten a sandwich lady while struggling with a steel or mithril dragon, she will only be in the way. Why, jagex has for some reason added this code a long time ago that closes all interfaces while in combat. I don't hate her, she's for the most part of use with her free food delivery. But Jagex really need to fix so you can respond to her while in combat in some way so she at least doesn't punish you for merely being unable to answer.

Melee gets them... why not us?
I disagree that the super ranging potion is a good idea. In fact, at high levels, the ranging potion already gives boosts close to a super attack potion. At level 89 I can boost myself up to 101 and hit very hard with the right equipment. I can ko another player easily with a couple of good close to 40 hits with my rune crossbow and the right bolts. I think a super ranging potion would throw off the balance. Beating other players would be way too easy once you have some sweet 85+ ranging stat, even if they wield torag, bandos or some other armor with good ranged defense and rush to spec you with a god sword. Magic is also deadly for that matter if you have the right spells at hand. The advantage at your hand coming from spells that freeze your enemy, causes 75% damage retaliate and other very powerful strategic spells. So no super magic potion for the mage to throw things off balance, thank you. :D

Tip.It Times Presents: Double Feature!
I remember that when I started playing in 2004 I tried to act as helpful and mature as I was capable of. I was only 15 back then. Turning 19 in October this year. I cared little about skill levels and competition. I just skilled and chilled and aimed to gain as many friends as possible. I thought most people who played back then were good people unless they were acting like bored moronic adolescents at the Karamja fishing spot - where I spent a real good lot of my time back then. Lots have changed, including myself, but if you create a positive aura around you, people will hook up. And that's why I do not think I have had to deal much with "noobs", or more precise "idiots", through my gaming experience, because I never directly took a defensive and cold stance against people upon the first impression and allowed them to show their many good sides as well. And it's true what Turtlefemm says about maturity not necessarily being related to age. My oldest friends on Runescape used to be kind and very caring when they were still 13. But a few years later they turned cold, arrogant and judgmental due to puberty and I no longer felt they were people I wanted to hang out with. Whenever you deal with another human, remember, everyone just seek to be loved.

From what world do you hail?
I have had quite a history of homeworlds through the years. Back in the F2P days I only spent my time in W67. Once I got members a bit over a year ago through Paybycash I went over to W83. Later on when I got member through debit card somewhere in February, W121 and W124 was my two home worlds for a while until I discovered Lightning and soon thereafter Blogscape clan chats through that tip.it poll, I started to hang out in W99 in hope of meeting those cool people I met in Blogscape. Nowadays you will with few exceptions see me hang out in W99, often killing dragons, training slayer or buying ranged supplies at the grand exchange. Hehe, see known faces often while slaying. \
