Russian invasion of Ukraine
Noone wants to sanction Russians, because it would lose money. Russia is a market with 150 million consumers. Noone wants to be cut off from that. Also, most of Europe is reliant on Russia for nearly all oil and gas. A few countries by as much as 100%. Baltics, for example. I am fairly certain, and Merkel and others have said they won't start WW3 for Ukraine. Noone does anything. All is up to Putin. He can do whatever he wants, and there isn't anyone confident enough to oppose.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Apparently a girl just expressed her feelings for me. Whilst I am working abroad. And have done so for the last 2 months and will do for one more week. I had it so easy in here, with just work on my mind. I liked her. Back in Spring. But here, I have pretty much forgotten everything from before summer. I've got shitloads of work to do. She expects an answer. But I can't give one until I've settled back in. It is just 2 different lives for me.

Yesterday, I either was a victim of a seriously sick joke or I have something pretty... interesting to say the least, waiting for me when I go back to Estonia in about a week. But if it isn't a sick joke, I have no [bleep]ing idea how to react. You guys will hear from me soon, either here or in the relationship thread.

What? Where? When? would it be in English, I think. It's a super popular show in Russia, where the audience sends questions and then 6-people teams of quizzers try to answer them. Game lasts til one team gets 6 points and there is 1 minute to answer each question. There are also special rounds n shit.

In my uni, at first years on most majors guys-girls are pretty much equal, on comp sci and physics a bit more guys, but by second or third year it pretty much evens out and girls start to dominate. In nearly every major. French for example, no guys at all started last year. And I might be a racist in mind, but I treat people equally. In fact, it is scientifically proven that everyone is a bit racist, more welcoming towards their own. But I think this topic is settled. In other news, bought me 2 knives. First proper woodcraft knives I've ever bought, from Morakniv. Started whittling a bit, managed to cut about 5 mm's into my finger... Hoping practice makes it better.

Well, I guess I am a close-minded backwards plain evil person and a racist, cause I don't like Russians, Finns, Gypsies, hillbillies, whatever. I take people on individual basis. I have a few Estonian Russian friends and I get along with some Ukrainians and Slovenians. Some of my best mates have been hillbillies. The fact that I don't like a group of people doesn't make me hate them. It's just that I don't find anything to like about them. And well, as I live in an officially Lutheran country (well, a country which was taken by a crusade in the Medieval times and as such has never really caught on Christianism) in history classes we learn the most about Christians and Jews. And the way at least my history books were written have made me convinced that all religions are bullshit and make people do bad things. IN OTHER NEWS: Power and thunder have gone on and off all day long. Made my workday into a 13-hour one.

I said I am a bit anti-semitic as I am anti-christian aswell. I am against everyone who shoves religion in my face. Never experienced that in a Muslim country and I've been to a few. I was taught neutrally, or well, as neutrally as a Christian could teach. It's just that history is full of atrocities committed by Christians and Jews. In the name of religion. I don't really have anything against the Jews, I just don't feel the sympathy most of the world seems to share. IN OTHER NEWS: Lost power before night again, got it back during the night. Half of our lamps are dead. Had to empty the milk tank, it was half full but with no cooling for a night could not take risks. No water. Tank-washing machine is out. We are pretty much [bleep]ed, can't milk the cows now.

Rpg, the fact that I can't spell it in English, which is not my mother tongue, does not mean I don't know about it. I had religion classes in school. About ALL major religions. Neutrally. I actually am a bit anti-semitic. I haven't had a single good experience with a Jew. Might be cause there are pretty much none in my country, but still. IN OTHER NEWS: We had a terrible thunderstorm over here today. Lost power, than came back on an hour later in the middle of the worst storm. Ran to the barn to check if the engines were ok. Lightning struck the building. Saw through the window. Ran as fast as I could to our house, I was pretty terrified. Getting lightning very close to you is scary. Was at house for 10 mins, lost power again, lightning hit the house. Right now running on batteries, been over 3 hours without power now.

Where that picture from? Ain't it Geiranger? Nonetheless, this place seems really familiar. Maybe cause I've lived in Norway for 10 summers and travelled around quite a bit...

You take it through religion yet again. Islam more or less is based on the Bible and Thora (don't know how the Jewish main book is spelt in English). Jerusalem as such is a holy city for them aswell. There is no way that muslims, true muslims all pray with backs against Jerusalem, they pray towards Mecca. Backs against Jerusalem can only be coincidental. You say Jews have lived there for 3300 years, well Muslims have also lived there for more than a thousand. Most of that time they have gotten along more or less peacefully. Or well, without too much Now I don't deny that using those rockets is wrong, yet killing children is wrong. We are not talking about Syria or ISIS because they are or exist in failed states, without democracy or any real authorities. Israel is a highly developed country that should be able to make do with diplomacy. Yeah, 3 Israelis were found dead in the West Bank. How many die in car crashes or whatever? Shit happens, crazy people are everywhere, Breivik shot 70 children in Norway. You can't just abduct and burn a Muslim. It is the most desecrating possible way to die. Specially for an innocent teenager. Now I don't know the background for previous offers by Israel, since I am too young to know too much background, I do know what are the current terms by Hamas for a 10-year ceasefire. They seem very reasonable. What isn't reasonable is being absolutely walled in in any direction. Gaza is pretty much a concentration camp, only without ovens. Pretty much noone is allowed in or out. Even fishing on the coast is not permitted. All the lands 2 kilometres from the wall to the inside are bulldozed, worthless shit, where nothing can be grown. 2 kilometres, when there is no room at all anyways. There is no Hamas terrorist network as such. Gaza civilians support Hamas as an idea, because they are the only ones fighting for anything resembling human rights in the area. Over on the West Bank, Jewish settlements occupy any area that has any economic benefit. Jews bathe in clean water and water their gardens in their walled-in settlements, while Palestinians outside struggle getting some for drinking. And don't come telling me that Jews let everyone to their holy places. And there were reasons behing UN's decisions against Israel. You guys are way too [bleep]ing violent. You answer way unproportionally. And don't come telling me occupying the whole Sinai was in any way started by the Egyptians. You attacked on their holy day. TL;DR: Both sides have their own lunatics. In normal countries those lunatics are put into hospitals, yet there they are the ones in the government taking charges (or anything resembling a government).
