  1. In other news, decided to check out this new app called Tinder. Or well, not so very new app. Only like 20 girls in my area were online. I blocked most of them because they were either girls I already knew too well or were a bit too old for me tastes. And immediately blocked the slutty pic ones. That's quite of a turn-off for me, having pics with boobs hanging out the shirt and having an inch thick layer of make-up on. But within a day I got 2 matches. And have started talking with one. Didn't think my pics would attract interest.
  2. Time and Space - The Cinematic Orchestra. A girl introduced me to Bonobo and Woodkid and I am pretty much humbled by their awesomeness.
  3. Stalker. A 1979 film from the Soviet Union's finest. Tarkovsky directed it, brothers Strugatskys wrote it. I've got the file spread into 3 CD's, so far viewed only the first one (around one hour), but I have never watched anything so intense. Completely nerve-wracking. Chills all over my body. Bonus points for being probably the most famous film ever that has at least partly been filmed in our very own capital.

Have been studying Environmental Chemistry all day. Feel like smoke could start coming out of my ears any minute now. In other news, I am absolutely, completely broke. 20 cents on me account. And my fridge is empty. Everything I have as food is 1 packet of rice, a few potatos, 2 onions, a bit of buckwheat, a bit of butter, half a bag of frozen vegetables and spices. That's it. I have no idea when I'll get any money.

Why would you make fun of someone who is studying Geology? We are the only ones that can give any kind of warning from impending volcanic eruptions or earthquakes or tsunamis. And in other news, going swimming today. Water should be just above freezing, but sauna. Oh, that sauna and ice cold water.
  7. Run boy run. This world is not meant for you. Run boy run. They are trying to catch you. Run boy run. Running is a victory. Run boy run. Beauty lies behind the hills. Woodkid - Run Boy Run Some of you might know this song from a very nice trailer to a very promising upcoming game.

I am studying a pretty practical subject. Geology. Can say that if I graduate I am pretty much guaranteed a job if not in a better place then at least in some government position. Geologists are in dire need around here. Heck, should be in dire need anywhere, people always will need raw materials from the ground. I also speak pretty fluent Norwegian and have made it my goal to get my Master's there. They know a thing or two about this oil and gas thing ;)

Played cards on beers last night. I ended up at zero owed to anyone. We played well over 10 games, each game on beers... There were 3 of us, I got dead even, but one dude owes the other player 3 beers. Suffice to say, it was all pretty even. Made a deal with me mate that next time we go out somewhere together, we will scout the locale, check out a few girls that I think might be more interesting/beatiful/nice/whatever and he shall give me tasks to perform. If I do them, he will buy me drinks, if I don't I buy him. Just a small practice to get a bit less anxious about being around girls. And also, ice swimming is epic. Last Thursday, went to the river, there is a somewhat public sauna, got heated up in sauna and jumped into the river and swam a bit. It was 4 centigrades in the water. Best feeling ever after you get out, way better than simply cold showers.

How would a tribal Indian dance-off look like? What makes it different from a regular dance-off?

Today, I realized how unbelievably [bleep]ing stupid the tax agency here is. If I work in Norway legally, there is no way I could be a law-abiding citizen. I have to file my taxes by 31st of March here in Estonia. I cannot possibly get my data from the Norwegian tax offices before 25th of June. And we have to pay interest for all that time aswell. I have brought thousands of Euros into the country. And now the government [bleep]s me and my whole family up. Started enquirying about the last 3 years abroad this year. WHERE WERE THEY BEFORE?!?!? This [bleep]ing stupidity and arrogance of the tax office workers makes me really want to leave this country for good. Government has tried lots of measures to try and keep people here, why the [bleep] do they have to make it so hard for us wanting to be here?!? If this thing isn't solved (my mum is probably filing this to the highest legal authority in the country), then I will be gone for good. One less brilliant, well-educated and smart person to bring wealth to the country, if they don't want me, I know Norway wants me.
  12. Well, when 123% of votes in Sevastopol go to joining Russia, it is kinda shady. Just like Putin got 140% in Chechnya. Just before Maidan only 41% supported joining Russia, so that 95% is definitely not legit. Citizens with Russian passport could vote as many times as they wanted. There are pictures online where the voting pamphlets or whatever they are, are all already marked for voting for Russia. No, nothing shady at all. Oh, did I mention that an Estonian journalist who happens to have a Russian passport saw that all first-hand?
  13. UNESCO does a lot of great things, so I think UN as such is still a pretty nice organization. Only the Peace Comittee and Security Council have no power...

You have no idea what you can do with 25 GB. Every summer, we are left with 5 GBs per month for 3 computer. It is fairly limiting, but most of the stuff I do otherwise I can do then aswell.
  15. If you don't hear from me after 12th of April, then this is what happened.
  16. AMG, Skypechat is taking over Tip.it Kieran needs moar adventures! Now!
  17. Somehow, somewhen in the last month I've started talking with girls more than with boys. One reason might be because I got to know quite a few of them. Pretty unexpectedly, from random places. I also got invited to the senior year prom in my former high school as a date for a senior. Still don't know if I should go, I don't really like the girl, we just get along and sing in the same choir. At the same time, some girl from my Norwegian course had been asking about me. Not a very pretty one either. Then, a girl from my Skiing course started talking and flirting with me. She had a boyfriend and they are still together and I am afraid to separate them. Girl has told me she thinks I am a very handsome dude. A girl that I have seen 3 times in my life invited me to her birthday with 15 other strangers to overnight in the other side of the country. WHAT THE [bleep] IS GOING ON?!?!?!?!?
  18. I probably should be receiving physiotherapy for that knee, but only a few exercises to my thigh muscles. Which do not heal my knee from inside -_- I ride my bicycle daily. My mileage is pretty high. And I was told to ride bicycle or swim, it was supposed to be the same or even better than any physiotherapy. [bleep] the doctors. I moved in September so I don't really have access to my family doctor. Otherwise I would have gone, even if just to get to a new orthopedist for a second opinion. I don't feel suicidal right now. I have periods when I am feeling really down. So down that I think about hurting myself somehow. Around once a week, at least. But I don't think I've ever had it so bad as when I was this last weekend.
  19. I love basketball. But I can't really do any sports anymore cause I [bleep]ed up my knee. I can't run 10 yards without my knee starting to hurt.
  20. On the eve of my birthday I wanted to jump off the balcony. 4th floor. Decided I should sleep on it, and not do it while a bit drunk. Decided not to do it the next morning. Feel like I am no use to anybody. Worthless. Could just end my existence so that someone better should get the resources used to keep me alive.
  21. I do stay at a friend's place often. And today, the plumber came around and I talked with flatmates a bit. Promised to be more serious about it.
  22. RPG, I check the forums pretty much bihourly or so. I hate how my current flatmates treat the flat... All sinks are congested, hair everywhere in the bathroom floor, nobody but me takes out the trash (seen it twice for anyone else to take out trash than me since September), nobody gives a [bleep] that sinks are congested, I have played the plumber now twice already, stove is pretty nasty, sinks are pretty nasty. My roommate uses my pan and doesn't wash it after, uses my knives and doesn't wash them after, so on. Luckily noone is stealing anything. And I can't see flatmates almost ever. Seen one dude three times since September, haven't talked with him once, he actively avoids us. For background, I live in a dorm flat, so that we have 2 rooms per flat and 2 people in each room.

In 6 hours and 28 mins I will become 20. [bleep]ing old. Ancient. Time has flown by. Have to have my phone off for the whole day, I'd go mad for the beeping and ringing all the time otherwise.

It is the day. I got the funds. I am doing the final preparations. Got some last minute attends. It is going to be legen... wait for it... DARY! Oh, and has anyone else ever cut their ear with safety razor like I just did?
  25. Estonian dude replied to Leoo's topic in Off-Topic
Problem is, I don't have enough funds for the place I booked. My real birthday is on 11th, but it is a Tuesday and I wanted a party, so decided to book a venue for tomorrow. Booked it 2 weeks ago.
