It doesn't matter. You don't burn them or anything, so they're the same at 99 as they are at the first level you can make them. You can just make pizza until you reach your monetary goal. Or you could go straight p'apple pizza until 94, and then sharks to 99. (Sharks are pretty cost-effective.) Or whatever. There aren't any optimal levels, it's just the best moneymaker for training cooking at any level where you want to make money. *shrug* (Tuna potatoes and raw pies and some other things are sometimes faster for money, but nowhere near as much xp.)

You forgot humidify. I don't think there are any other items worth telegrabbing besides the zammy wine, in f2p anyway. Umm, I had some xp rates for air orbs. Just as a general ballpark estimate, I did some sparse timed runs with a spirit terrorbird and I was charging about 540 orbs an hour (using a glory teleports of course). Earth orbs would probably be the same, since they're in the same place. But that rate is tentative now, because this week's update allows you to withdraw things from the familiar's inventory, and the run energy update eliminates the need for Tireless Run scrolls at higher agility levels. And both of those would probably make it faster. So I don't know how much that helps, but it should give you some idea. I should also mention that I never did decide whether I wanted to fill the familiar's inventory only halfway to quickly exchange items, or to leave only one slot open and deposit/withdraw the items one at a time, or to forget the terrorbird and use a fruit bat to forage stuff and save some effort...I really ought to have tested all of those, and I can't remember how much I filled the tbird when I was timing. And I can also confirm that it's pretty rare to see revenants up there at the obelisk--I guess it's cuz they only come there when they're patrolling, and when they are they usually see the people at black demons and chaos druids first and don't climb the ladder. Thieving is a pretty similar speed and you make a profit. Just blackjack until 81, then plunder until 99. Should be faster than firemaking, and slightly slower than cooking fish, but you make a profit instead of a loss. EDIT: Also the trimmed Thieving cape looks really cool.

You would break even or make a small profit fletching longbows. Magic longbows are perfectly viable. You're right to be cautious about the current peak prices of fish, since they have been volatile lately. 90-day graph of sharks. Keep in mind you can always augment the price of 99 cooking up or down by making p'apple pizza or wine on the side. P'apple pizza will go slower but make a big profit, and wine will go a lot faster but cost a lot more. Since the ingredients for pizza and wine can be slower to buy, you might consider them as secondary methods to fish; but basically they allow you to name your own price. I made something like 50m gp in profit when I got 99 cooking, and you can still do the same thing if you want.

I imagine green d'hide with SC needles would cost somewhere in the general area of about the same as air bstaves, roughly, but slower. (No idea exactly how much, you'd have to figure that out, but if you're paying as you go you won't necessarily notice the total amount you spend because you'll be buying and selling and re-buying.) Blue d'hide actually loses about the same amount as green, so you might prefer that.

You'll only regret not getting slayer xp for your initial 99s if you have a problem with training after 99. Otherwise, you won't train your slayer to 99ish sooner, but you will train it faster. After all, it's definitely easier to train slayer once your combat stats are maxed out. :-w

In this case the price difference is a lot less extreme and the stat difference is more significant, so you need to have a lot less cash to start with in order for it to be worth buying Karil's. I'd say once you have a mil or two to spare, Karil's is worth getting. And if you plan on camping waterfiends for charms, it's worth getting even sooner. (Well, maybe not, because then you still need the extra mils for the Zammy Spear or you won't get far anyway.)

Air battlestaves are an excellent training method, as the xp/hr is comparable to crafting dragonhides, but you lose less money. The main problem is that the battlestaves have a buy limit of 100 at a time on the GE, so getting the supplies can take a while, especially since you can't order a lot of them at a time unless you have a truly massive cash pile. (The rest of the stuff is very easy to trade.) But since you're going to be spending a lot of time earning money, this shouldn't be a problem--instead of waiting around twiddling your thumbs for the offer to be completed, order a few hundred at a time, go out and earn some money while you wait for them to come in, then make them into air staves, sell the air staves, order more plain staves, and go back to moneymaking.

All the f2p quests are easy quest points, although I imagine you've done them already. And check whether you've done all the Novice Quests.

All you need to do is find a decent moneymaker and pay-as-you-go until 99. You can still average a decent xp rate in any of those skills and come out ahead in gp. Technically, you can make profits while training those skills, like if you clean grimy herbs and resell clean at a higher price, or if you make molten glass for crafting, or if you smelt steel for smithing, etc. But I'm pretty sure you'll do better combining some fast moneymaker with a fast xp method.

It's moot because he shouldn't be using a fury or a strength ammy anyway; you would want to be using a salve ammy (e) and spec on something undead. Not many things are exactly.. close.. to a bank. Guards are. :P There are plenty that are close to a teleport, though, and that's essentially the same thing. Off the top of my head, Tormented Souls at the Ectofuntus should work, or skeletons in low-level Wildy north of Edgeville, which is also close to a bank, actually.
