  1. Yes, all quests are worth doing in the end, and these few quests are really good. Armoured Zombies. Technically there are a couple quests that unlock undesirable slayer tasks. FTP2 unlocks Goraks, for example, and Path of Glouphrie unlocks Warped Terrorbirds. But you should still do those quests, because the main rewards (fairy rings and faster spirit tree teleports, respectively) require only partial completion. But yeah, <3 AZ's.
  2. Since this is a game, it is the only argument that matters. Since it is purely subjective, it is an argument that has no relevance to the discussion. It is purely subjective whether you want to do slayer or not. I don't see why this is an discussion in the first place. Because the OP has claimed that slayer is one of the best skills in the game and put forth some very specific arguments besides "Slayer is my favorite skill and it's fun." I happen to disagree, on the basis that training slayer is a suboptimal method for training combat, earning money, and/or collecting charms.

  4. The zombies give much faster xp because you can use salve (e) for +20% to attack and strength, and the altar right upstairs means you can piety constantly for free for an even more awesome boost. They also have profitable, stackable drops. Bandits are only popular because they auto attack you.

Old policy would encourage mods to report and/or mute the offender, and let the higher-ups at Jagex deal with the problem after that. New policy encourages mods to take on a role as more of a teacher. Whatever.
  6. It's the only place. You can't kill them anywhere else.

It's primarily to prevent mod impersonation. The crown means you always know who is a mod and who isn't.

As opposed to "every" brilliant player, which would obviously be impossible As in chances were already good Why would they be looking for unsuitable players As in identifying potential mods through other factors in addition to good reports and ingame behavior Because they want to be clear that they're not unsatisfied with current mods. You couldn't interpret this blog as an expression of dissatisfaction with the current mod base unless you did something like this:
  9. You could try full orange pirate to match the trim. Pirate clothes always make good outfits. Or white and gold mystic, that would match pretty nicely.
  10. You need to consider the extra time spent playing Stealing Creation. If you play ordinary SC games you'll only get about 60 points an hour on average. Noncombat SC games will earn more, though, I guess.
  11. Barrows is fine for you. Much cheaper than dragon, and better stats. Don't know what you mean by "free" because there aren't really any good items you can get for close to free, unless you want to use 40-def quality things...but Torag's, Dharok's, and Guthan's platebodies are all very cheap and have the same very good stats, so just get one of those.
  12. I bank or drop these? Sorry, never did :( Drop. And remember to use bait, not feathers...you'll save a little money.

    Ahem.
  14. They probably stopped selling because everyone who was buying has comleted their offer already. Doubtless more buyers will come along eventually if you're patient. If you wanted to craft them into orbs and charge them, the best would be to charge them into air orbs. And once you've crafted them all it would still take about 17 hours to charge them, although you would make money from it.
  15. What exactly does each of those familiars do? The only one I have used so far is the Bunyip. Is there addition to the skill significant? Arctic Bear improves your Hunter success rate as if you were 10 levels higher than you are. Lava Titan makes you mine quicker, also as if you were 10 levels higher than you are. Granite lobster improves your fishing speed by a small amount (as if you were 4 levels higher) and earns you extra profit by generating sharks and swordfish. You could also consider a fruit bat while doing pretty much anything, as just by having one out, it will generate fruit and fruit seeds that usually add up to about 15k added profit per hour without any additional effort. So you can use it while firemaking or constructing or whatever. And you should definitely be doing barbarian heavy rod fishing instead of monkfish; if you're as rich as you say you are, you don't need the money from monkfish.
  16. Well, you could have also gone around the back route with climbing boots, using the path from the quest.
  17. The thrower trolls are negated by using Protect from Missiles prayer.
  18. No familiars on the Ape Atoll course. :(
  19. Hmm, I never noticed the monsters gave the same amount of slayer exp as their hp. :P Seems like I was a bit off. xD There are actually some exceptions. A few dragons and such. Mith drags, for example, give 273 slayer xp but have 254 hp. And of course if you use a cannon, you won't get melee xp for all the slayer xp, which will throw you off.
  20. Even in multicombat, when I use a fire titan, I prefer just using regular food.
  21. viewtopic.php?f=180&t=805097& Even if you get a Rare on the first wheel, without the RoW there's a much bigger chance that you get a "Not Rare" on second wheel, "Not Rare" including addy bars. At least that's how I believe it works. In this case the RoW is irrelevant because Aviansies don't have any rare drops that you would care about.
  22. Well heres the RS Wiki calculator for crafting battlestaves: http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Calculators/Battlestaves The individual entires for the d'hide bodies have calculators at the bottom of the page. http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Green_d'hide_body http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Blue_d'hide_body http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Red_d'hide_body http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Black_d'hide_body
  23. You can fight them in POH dungeons. Yeah, that's pretty much the only viable spot. :|
  24. I think the spawn has more than one rune in the stack.
  25. Superglass make is good for funding your training. You can mix in air battlestaves (just air orbs + battlestaves) for some fast, cost-efficient xp, or blue d'hide bodies with morphic needles if you prefer.
