I read a story once about how microsoft had a project to bridge the multiplayer gap between xbl and pc online - the project got cancelled after they realized pc gamers routinely destroyed xbox gamers due to the pc controlls being better - and microsoft didn't want xbox to look bad :D

Even though obviously 10% is a lot, it's still a small minority compared to the rest. It doesn't suprise me much, the states is basically a foreign occupier in several muslim countries (reasons irrellevant) so it makes sense that there's a lot of anger about that. I'd warrant that 10% of christains at least harbour ill feelings towards other religions (although perhaps not such a large percentage wish them physical harm).

It's still possible to access wikileaks - if you know the IP address. It's largely impractical but if it's posted somewhere and people bookmark it its easy.

Well the religious would say you live so that you can make yourself ready for God. At very least, you live because life is a gift. It is true that many people will not have a huge impact, and their legacy will be minimal - but that's not everyone. Personally, I believe we live to leave the world a better place then when we arrived.

Only if you're not great at soldier. If you're good at it the damage boost is significant if you're getting direct hits. It really depends whether you want to play individually or as a team. Gunboats are definitely better as an individual, but the buff banner team buff is pretty epic. Yeah, but it's better then the bottle for melee, at least as far as i've found. Yeah, the sandwich is good for when you have a medic at low health. Not so much for yourself. Once again, team vs individual. You can majorly increase damage with jarate, plus coat spies, or put out fire - your team will thank you if you're good with jarate. And once again, team vs individual. Backburner is great as an individual player - but it doesn't beat the flexibility of the normal one. Degreaser is meant for flame + axtinguisher players, and can be extremely useful if used correctly.

Here's the thing. Regardless of what happened between you guys in the past, it's over - and you're just friends now. So, tell her as you'd tell a friend - casually, without any special drama. If she (ex) has a problem with that, then you have a whole other problem on your hands since she obviously still has feelings for you.

Not really. I hate to say it, but the general population/average voter is pretty uninformed, and doesn't really look at the bigger picture. Governments are generally made up of the most intelligent citizens (obviously some exceptions) and I guess it's a personal thing but I do trust them to usually make the right decisions.
