  1. Well Dizzle, when it happens. We'll miss you. I just love the unnecessary insults on OT. Almost feels like Roberts back. Well, to be honest, your post was pretty unnecessary, and a little..."dumb"? ;)
  2. How the hell have you gotten a copy of The Soundhouse Tapes? If it is real, how have you been able to afford it? It costs a crapload of cash. I know there's an enormous amount of pirated copies of it, which looks the same. But if that really is one of the originals - Nice! ------ I'm surprised to see so many newly registered people/with so few posts, posting a picture of themselves the first thing they do. It is real. Bought it from eBay more than a year ago, and was kind of surprised that it truly was the real deal. I'm an avid Iron Maiden collector. And working makes you money. Wow, Soundhouse Tapes outa nowhere! If you don't mind, how much did it cost?

I just don't think that it's stressed enough what "90% effective" means. People hear that and think "Oh wow, it's almost 100, I'm fine". Look at the other 10%: pregnancy or a life altering disease. I still don't feel (and I was exposed to sex ed in school) that those facts were well represented, it seemed like they didn't want you to think about that.
  4. It hasn't stopped them so far. More and more it seems that, like the league of nations before it, the UN is a lame duck, without any real power to make a difference. I've heard that NK is trying to get negotiations started to formally end the Korean war, and thats why they are using these shows of force.

I believe we were told that condoms were 90% effective when the right size was used, and properly. Birth control was in the high 90's and a little math lesson that 90% + 90% doesn't equal 100%, nor does condom + condom. I think that's what we were told.. it was a while ago so the percentages may be off. And what did they tell you about abstinence? :P

The problem I have with teaching sex ed in schools is that it is presented as a be all and end all solution to pregnancy and std's. I agree that a huge majority of kids won't practice abstinence, but the way condoms etc are presented is as a 100% solution, when it isn't the case. People need to be aware that there are ways to be "safer" but that abstinence is the only truly 100% effective method, and then let them decide.
  7. Nice win Lethality.
  8. Good win pf :)
  9. I've always found it ridiculous that the drinking age isn't 18. I'm not sure how it works in the states or elsewhere, but here (Canada): The charter of rights and freedoms only allows discrimination based on age if it's the difference between a child and adult. Hence it's ok to say: "Because you are this old you can't do this, but only if you are a child". Basically as soon as you turn 18, you can't be discriminated upon by age because all adults have the same rights. However, isn't the drinking age discriminatory that way? I've often wondered whether there is enough merit in that argument to take it to court. (not personally though :P)
  10. Good job Akel :)
  11. Bumped an old topic but oh well, nice win :)
  12. 1) Divine Forces - Have an edge on VR, but can they keep it? 2) Violent Resolution - pulling maxed opts is great, and with DK members joining now they can probably take DF on a good day. 3) Echo of Silence - good activity, not quite at the level of VR/EH/DF....yet. 4) Eternal Honour - Rose to compete with DF, but haven't done so well as of late. 5) Runescape Dinasty - Would be interesting to see a fight with Corr, uncapped. 6) Corruption - They definitely have the numbers, but I still see a lacking in dedication. 7) Shadow Elves - Corr has numbers on them at the moment. 8) The Titans - Haven't been pulling so well recently. 9) The Rising - around the level of Exodus. 10) Exodus - close to TR.
  13. CWA matched or pvp pkri. I like the matched wars because it shows a clans true strength, but I also like the pk run-ins where anything can happen :)
  14. I've heard of pretty ridiculous stuff being accepted, for example one guy sent pron links and they unbanned him. :?
  15. Good luck finding a war :)

Speaking of which, just got mine back from the shop. I'll still be able to ride it on road but I need a new fork for $300, aka a new bike. I don't mountain bike as regularly as I would like so unfortunately I won't be getting a new one  Ps. My bike [hide=][/hide]

Looks cool. Although technically I am a "city kid" with a bike with 2 shocks, though I mountain bike regularly.
  18. I would put Eos above EH, thier pulls have been great and I think they are more organized. I would still rank Corr above us though as we haven't beaten them uncapped, and maybe TT at the same level.
  19. Madcat Grimmick15 or Ro arid?
  20. No offence to any Gladz members, but I am pretty sure they are not the most active clan in the clan world and I don't think they've pulled 80+ to a Cwa war in a while. Nope, we haven't. We pulled ~85 against GK for the Jagex Cup, though, but that was 2 (?) months ago. Wow, I haven't thought of gladz as one of the most active clans in ages.
