Shadow Elves defeat Exodus - uncapped ending in 5.5 hours
Well they had a mass leaving, many members joined VR. I would say that they have actually improved over the past few weeks, but we had a really good pull to this fight (never dropping below 70, generally staying almost at 80). They've never been able to handle us with even numbers and with our 25 man snipe unit there was no way they could win.

That's actually wrong. If you fight in dangerous mode in CWA, food can be looted. http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarti ... ing_to_war Read more here. So again, I really don't see the hangup with CWA :s Well, a few things. 1) Returning. It's infinitely faster in a cwa fight, regardless of safe or not. If you can return too fast, it makes pkris boring. 2) Loot. It isn't just about food. You want the other clan to suffer when you are beating them, and they suffer by losing rune. At the same time, it benefits no one to lose rune when it can't be looted. 3) Thrill. Pvp worlds are thrilling. As much as we say we despise crashing, it is an integral part of the pvp experience and I think that many like the possibility that anything can happen. 4) Tradition. Old schoolers remember the wars of the old wilderness, and pvp comes fairly close.

Shadow Elves defeat Exodus - uncapped ending in 5.5 hours
Teach me how to do that haha :P tanking in pkri's are really hard :c Gratz on win Thanks. By that point though their numbers had dropped significantly and with the number of snipers we had they weren't throwing many binds.

Happy Canada Day TIF
Oh, I like them, it just annoys me that Molson isn't Canadian at all. Technically, those commercials are only about the Molson Canadian beer. And Molson has been on "Canadian" soil for over 200 years, so it is at least partially Canadian. Fair enough, although it is an american company pretending to be Canadian.

Iraqi sovereignty day/major step in USA withdrawal
It does seem like a very good step, however I hope it isn't premature. I know there were a lot of concerns about security forces in Iraq and Afghanistan not being able to handle that level of responsibility at present.

I highly disagree. I'm not talking necessarily about building a car, but even the conversations you've had with someone about anything can work. Maybe you've talked to your parents, about something important, and they've given you advice. You can remember it, learn from it, and pass it on. Apes can't. Maybe you've debated with someone about something, similar to what we are doing now (except in writing). You can still remember it, use it, spread it, and learn from it. Apes just don't have that kind of intelligence. Physically complicated, not at all. The brains are physically very similar (as you've pointed out before). But a human brain is capable of so much more in terms of consciousness, thinking, etc that I think it will take a very big gap in technology to truly perfect it.

humanitarian aid siezed, crew arrested
As much as I sympathize with the plight of the people in the Gaza strip, Israel has allowed humanitarian aid to enter as long as it goes through the right channels, which this clearly hasn't.

Well what he is driving at is that IA is comprised of people who can't pvp with their main clans because their main clans aren't strong enough. That isn't exactly true.

Not at all. I can tell you something verbally, and you will remember it. And you can pass it on, and improve on it, and pass it on again. Apes can't do that, and that isn't reliant on any sort of technology. Exactly, on a much simpler level. What I am arguing is that the difference in the level that we do those things is enough that it won't be possible to create truly artificial intelligence any time in the near future with the technology we have.

That's actually not what Reb was trying to say at all. Anyways, humans are about 99.4% equal to chimpanzees in our genes (and very close to all other mammals), no where near infinite. But look at that huge difference in that .06%. I'm well aware of the genetic differences but the human mind is capable of so much more. I'm really not quite sure about the "huge difference" you speak of. Sure, we have self-awareness and the ability to create technology, but the intelligence of a ape vs. a human isn't extremely different, let alone infinitely different. Don't just assume your argument when you look at civilization and the technology of the world, that does not measure our intelligence, it is merely a product of it. As our technology gets more advanced, it doesn't mean that we as humans are physically getting smarter, that is not how cumulative technological advancement works. Next time you assert a fact, would you care to elaborate on it a bit? Ok, Will do. On the level of basic intelligence, yes, humans and apes are very similar. I'm talking about the capability for thought beyond the immediate. Morals, decisions, the ability to create, the ability to look outside the box, the ability to do what doesn't make sense; these are all things that an ape just isn't capable of. I'm not saying we are completely different, but the human mind is capable of far more than an ape. For example, this conversation. I highly doubt an ape would ever have that. Or even begin to understand that. I agree that we as humans don't get smarter, but we do get more knowledgeable. Once again, something an animal is never capable of. You can't expect an ape to figure out how to build a car and then pass on that knowledge, you just can't.

I don't think Zh DK or Vr specially Vr are going anywhere Today Vr is the strongest clan no one gives them week prep fights they know what will happen. The "IA" is made for all the noobs who cant go out pvp with there clans and Flame NH clans on Fan site forums for runescape. they get chance all them to go hop in with big clans to fight them off, I don't think IA will last long. Well argument can go both ways Its either You like NH tactics Or you Don't. I don't really think thats fair. I agree that NH isn't going anywhere despite anyone's best efforts but it seems to me that all NH is doing at the moment is flaming IA because they can't keep up. IA isn't made of noobs at all, many many members pvp regularly with their clans.
