But what if your rival/enemy clan happened to have most of your friends in it, that joined there by chance? Wouldn't you want to go where your friends are? I know I would. And besides, what defines enemy. It's an online game, just because they have flamed you/crashed your fights doesn't mean they aren't a worthy clan. I know for me, as of right now, we have a big rivalry with the Titans, but despite that they would definitely be one of my top choices for a new clan if I were to leave SE for any reason.

No it's not. It's the same thing when places won't accept $50 or $100 dollar bills. Places can accept whatever money they want. Exactly. I think if it qualifies as "unnecessary" then they don't have to accept it. For example, at my work, we will accept a $50 bill for purchases over $30. Anything less is causing us to give out an unnecessary amount of change. And at the video; I guess he's entitled to pay in all pennies, but very unnecessary and he's just trying to be funny.

At the same time, Legendz has a significantly lower combat average than many of the clans that they have to fight for the TWR. I'm not saying that such big handicaps are warranted, but I can certainly remember several occasions when they have started with 40% more options than the other clan and lost because of the level difference. Anyway, gratz on your win.

Not yet, but I wouldn't necessarily rule out joining a clan that had a rivalry with my old clan just because of such. Not all rivalries lead to negative opinions of the other clan, in fact they can lead to a large amount of respect, and even friendliness with some members, which makes it more likely that I would join.

But it wasn't long ago that it did do so- phpBB2 allowed it, I believe it was an option in the ACP. Well I guess the developers thought better of that idea with this release, and I agree :P

While it certainly wouldn't "hurt", I know the mods/admins try to refrain from adding forums that aren't going to be used, as it means new moderators, new policies, and probably more which I'm not aware of. As Rainy_Day said, the official ones aren't very active, so it would probably be more pain than gain were one to be added. In terms of the mechscape forums, they hype around the game before it has even been released has already created a decent amount of activity in that board.

And how many of the total accounts are inactive? Probably 3/4 of them, which logically means that almost all the user's have read the rules. Now I know that probably isn't true, but it's the same kind of guess you made when you said 1/4 of members have read the rules. In terms of the "ib4l" spam, yes, it annoys me too. But it isn't my job to deal with, or to make a post about it, so if it is that annoying, report, and move on.
