Why are you comparing animals to computers...? Just because they both "percieve" doesn't mean the word means the same thing for both of them. By that I mean, founding your faith in the possibility of the generation of souls in AI's in biology doesn't seem to make any sense. Exactly this. I think it would be possible with the technology we currently have to replicate an animal's intelligence. It is just that humans are infinitely more complex.

What if a spammer comes? I'm sure they don't care about posting in a forum that gives no post count.

I can tell you that as someone with experience in many huge pk-runins that looting does play a part, regardless of whether it is supposed to or not. There is no way clans will switch to cwa unless that option becomes available.

Jagex compliments clans...?
I highly doubt Jagex will ever be able to compete in terms of forums. There is a huge flexibility offered by outside hosting that Jagex just can't match.

Thanks Dbz
Aha, this is one of those "I should have known" moments  And people still find out... If you wanted to find out the best way would be to ask dbz himself, seeing as it's fully his choice to disclose, whereas Loge_05 has to respect his privacy.

Actually, that argument can go both ways. I can tell you at least one instance where two clans fought a time capped pkri in the old wild, yet the only reason one clan won against the other was because they could simply return faster. The other clan was dropping them like flies. You'd say that the other clan was more skilled, yes? But by PvP standards, the original clan won. This wouldn't be the same in Clan Wars Arena, when you have the ability to measure kills over time. Both places have their pros and cons. If CWA had a Tree to Tree map, or something similar, would people still hate it? That's where 90% of the pkris are fought anyway. People would use it if you could lose items/loot as well.

Post pictures of your pets here
Now that just made my [bleep] day. Seriously. Hey, I guess posting pics is a learning experience, at least he got it right in the end ;)

Closing of clans & their influence.
Why though? Think about it, if DF dies, another top clan is gone. If VR dies, NH dies, and regardless of whether that would be good or bad it would still have a massive impact.

I have a roach infestation.
Seems a bit silly that you should have to do it, when can you move out? :P

Was that directed towards me? It was, and I agree with her. Attack the idea, not the person. EDIT: Oh, apparently it wasn't.

That last sentence gave me brain fart so bad  Ok, now that I've finally figured it out, I don't think it's that illogical. Obviously we haven't succeeded yet in replicating an entire human brain(or soul I suppose) with the technology we have. Having programmed for quite some time, I can say with some certainty that the current computing capabilities we have aren't capable of creating anything as complex as the human mind. We can replicate and even improve on certain aspects of the human persona but never create anything better. For example, a computer, at least one running in a similar fashion to the ones we have today, will never be able to have "free will". I don't mean that in the deep physiological/moral manner that some do; but rather as the ability to chose. When I started school, my professors always made it a priority to stress just one fact: "A computer will do exactly what you tell it to do, nothing more, nothing less". This means that every time a computer appears to be "thinking" for itself, it is merely doing what it is supposed to do when presented with a certain situation. Obviously this comes in incredibly handy for limited applications of the human mind but the in depth things, the ability to chose, the ability to decipher right and wrong, the ability to do things that don't make sense....the way computers are now, at this moment, restrict any truly perfect artificial intelligence.

Closing of clans & their influence.
I don't agree with that for a few reasons. 1) Not all VR members would go to the DK/ZH alliance, as many of them would not be happy to be restricted solely to crashing. 2) Vr has been around for a while as well, competitive for # 1, and have hundreds of good warrers. I agree that DF closing would have a huge impact, but I still think VR would have more.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Give it some time. If you do that it will show her that you aren't trying to get back together. Also, be sure to take it slowly.

I picked the "eternal life" option. I guess that's the Christian viewpoint and I haven't seen any evidence of anything else; well except for the physical degradation.

Credit/Debt.. need some help.
This is why you shouldn't get a credit card until you can use it responsibly. Anyway, you need a job. I know you just quit one, but there is no way around it. Unless, of course, you can get a loan from someone.
