And what would you say is moral bankruptcy? Is anyone who thinks differently that you immoral? Why, with no proof presented to me, should I follow to standards set by some book? Why that book? Why should I believe in your god versus a different one, or none at all? Forced moral standards are ridiculous. If you are just doing what it says so you get into heaven, and not go to hell, then you don't really care about the morals, you just want whats best for you. Kids hitting their parents and teachers, drug use, teenage sex, suicide. Most has increased since the 60s, the whole hippy, liberal atheist thing. Since then, this country has gone to hell. In my opinion. You can believe what you want, that's your choice. You can believe that cockroach Maher, or some book. I'm not trying to force anything onto you, I'm voicing my opinion on the subject at hand, I don't think we will last as a country without some kind of moral bar. And no, I don't follow these morals or rules or anything because of my fear of going to hell. I follow them because I believe in them. You people tend to get very defensive when it comes to a diversity of opinion. :wall:

Not believing in god does not equal being morally "bankrupt",and i call [cabbage] on that one. I am fully capable of being a loving and caring person without the belief in a God,and so can others who live in the country. The country is certainly going down hill,but this is not the cause. Who says you aren't. Most morality (In my opinion) stems from some belief or fear of god, whether or not you are an atheist or your parents are atheists, it stems from something. You get some of your views from your parents, as most do, they got theirs from their parents and so on. Atheists tend to believe morality comes from just the common decency of man. Which in my opinion is false, it comes from somewhere else, the belief or fear of god. I'm sure there are a lot of self proclaimed atheists out there that would pray to god on their death bed. It has happened to members of my family. Everyone has god in the back of their mind, they only use him when they are in need of something. Life. You have your opinion I have mine.

Yes I do believe in god, I always have. Sad thing is, these days not believing in god is "cool" amongst younger people. Over the years this country has become more and more godless, it explains the moral bankruptcy in this country. Most claim to be free willed, but this is not true, they have let TV, movies, music and other things control the way they think and behave. I see this every day talking to clan members who call themselves atheists. Sad thing, can't imagine how this country is gonna be in 40 years. Frightens me to be perfectly honest. We are in control of our fate, another flood perhaps?

I don't remember the exact date, but I started re-playing runescape mid-early March [hide=The Past]I started playing Runescape in 06, I heard about it from word of mouth around a small circle of friends, I joined up, played for an hour and quit. For 2 years I stayed away until I joined Independent study, instead of going to regular school, I would meet my teacher every week and do a weeks worth of work at home. It got very boring, the work was easy, I would finish it all with hours left during the day with nothing to do. Eventually I got back into runescape, I'm a very organized person who keeps most of his things on notepads. Before I started playing runescape ("again") I decided to learn a bit more about it. I googled runescape guides, runescape walk-throughs, runescape maps... Almost everything. I Lurked around Tip.it, RSC and others, reading some guides, reading general chat to see what was going on. Eventually I logged into chained life, the stats were nothing impressive, level 8 attack, 1 def. I I decided I should immediately become a member to make everything run quicker. I decided I was going to try to train my stats evenly throughout my career, I wasn't fully aware of how trading worked, so I just kept most of my items to myself. I started out with combat - Training combat only with slayer I managed to stay fairly even for awhile. After time and money I saved up for a slayer mask and some better gear - --- I moved on to skilling where I eventually achieved 1000 total - -- April is when I started to record my progress not just with pictures but with times, my stats as of april 22nd - My Quest points - I mastered tough quests that took a lot of time and patience - -- Over time I kept going, attempting to keep my stats as even as possible. 10Mil BoB + other levels Time went on, I got my prayer level up to 60, I had achieved 52 summon, and leveled up many other skills - -- I kept going, getting more and more money with new friends I had made, with many laughs - --- I eventually met a guy named Jewie_10, a nice high level, I talked to him, got some info, he told me what clan he was in, TDM (The Death Monkeighs). Little did I know that I was in the TDM home world w56. I met several other tdm, one being Mallister, a very nice member who helped me join TDM later on. I got up to 95 combat (f2p), posted my application and waited. I was accepted a few days later. To this day 8 months ago, TDM remains my only clan. TDM is great, I quickly became friends with ciarran4 who joined the same day as me, I met others such as Sw3ety_gurl and Yami yugi. I also met some pretty high levels, such as toadkiller D and Draco_Draco. With the help of my clan members I progressed even quicker, getting to dk trips, and TDM events. I joined some groups within the clan (warring list, a seperate list of TDM warrers who do all the pvp fighting). I joined the GFX council, where I do some of the graphics around the forum... Sometimes :P.[/hide] Today - These days I'm not so anal about keeping my stats even, I still do slayer for my melee combat and I still love spending money on skills. I'm definitely not as frugal as I once was, as you will see. Today I'm a level 126 p2p (with 116 f2p) player, with 1875+ total and a nice 80mil+ BoB. I have made many friends in my clan and many enemies outside of my clan. it should expire like normal, but say you're away and you left a bunch of items in your inventory. I think jagex should allowed 1-2 member log ins, so members can put items in their bank.

Yeah, it's nice, I did miss an onyx bolt tip because of one :thumbdown:, but got 3 grimy snap drags as a reward. I've only gotten once random since the update, so it is nice. Then again, I've probably only played a few hours total since the update.

Sucks to see we won't be getting a trimmed quest point cape, but, relieved that we finally know and it can be put to rest for now. It's nice to see they're starting to work on prayer again.

Wish they would take as much effort to update spirit shields and 3rd age so we could finally buy them. idiots. :thumbdown: The [developmentally delayed]s that want to get rid of free trade have had their wish come true, congratulations! :thumbdown: :thumbup: :lol:

It's not that you're a whiner, you're just an opinionated curmudgeon. Nothing wrong with that. Anyway, this bank update will make it simpler to do bank-skilling tasks (a-la Fletching, Crafting, Smithing), and it could finally open the possibility of being able to equip the character in the bank window. I'll admit that this was a rather pedestrian update, but it's still a pretty good one. I'm also liking the inability of dropping more than 1K of worth; this should make it better for PvPers to get a decent kill. I'm not a simpleton who's easily entertained by such upgrades. Perfect time for this update year, the year mechscape comes out. the year they can slack off as their membership subscriptions increase and increase. Does that make sense? Lessen the the updates and their quality as you get more and more players?

Stop whining and take advantage of it. While you lose 100k, people like me are gaining 100k by putting in a tiny bit of effort into watching the graphs on certain items that I occasionally sell/buy. :lol:. My total value is great because I know how to handle my money and not waste on ridiculous items that I know will crash over a long period of time. Example? Godswords, never had one, never needed, and surprisingly I'm much richer than friends I know with godswords :lol: How about we limit everyone! no one can have more than 1 rune set, no one can have more than 1 whip, if you get a whip drop it disappears, goes into the G.E. while you make 0 profit. That's the spirit!

Yeah, god forbid the players that pay criticize Jagex. :roll: I'm sure it will save them money in the long run, some people not canceling their membership when they see a terrible month. It should also make sure they can stay lazy, instead of going through with what they said they would come out with that month. Sometimes they just don't come out with an update. I liked BTS, I will wait to see the cycle of DDs before I say anything negative about this move. Overall, saves them time and money, but the players lose.

Ridiculous, I would say the majority were stakers/loot sharers/traders (not Real world)... idiots. They sure as hell won't give this kind of effort to add more worlds and make them LS.

Gf 7mil... Lagged, didn't have protect item on. Boosted up my Pvp points a bit, did with friend made 1.5m. So lost about 5.5m. Now that claws are cheap all the [developmentally delayed]s that got lucky at bandos spent their money on d claws to 1 item :lol:. --- Anways.
