  1. Agreed. I also love the interface, easy to use, no key combinations to remember or something. Really awesome compared to other online games I've played.
  2. Meh. I could be doing homework (useful) or play runescape (more fun) but instead I've been browsing tif for about 2 hours now. Seems like I have the same problem as you do. Thanks for making my realize I'm wasting my time lol. *shuts down computer* Edit - Meh it took me more than 25 mins to get myself to shut down my computer. L Another edit - Meh. Okay. From now on, I'm going to try to waste less time on tip.it. I'll probably fail cause I didn't even manage to close the browser after I made this post, but whatever. No more wasted time! More edit - Okay. Last time. L - Still haven't done it and I'm biting my nails too. Tomorrow I'll try to end this lol.
  3. Right now, I wouldn't. It would ruin my way to pass the time. Maybe when I've quit, but I'm not sure. Anything over $1000 would be very temptating :P
  4. Can you unequip the excalibur thing while it's healing you after the spec? If yes, I'll probably have to do the diary, even if it's just for camping aviansies :
  5. At least 750k, as the workers will take 10% of what's in there at a max of 75k each day.
  6. Meh, money isn't everything. At least you still have to spend time to level skills and stuff.
  7. Best herbs (stick to toadflax for a while after 38) + best allotment you can, best tree you can, best fruit tree you can. Once you're like 40 you can drop the allotments if you want, and if you don't want to spend too much money just keep doing pineapples and maples once you can do those. Supercompost all your herbs, if you can't access any farming patch you should try to do the quest or whatever. Quests are also good for some early farming xp. The xp wont be fast but once you know what to do and are a higher level it will become much easier to get xp. If you prefer to start out with willows and don't get 30 the slow way, sorceress garden is a nice way to train farming at early levels, 50 xp per run adds up and will get you 30 fairly quickly.
  8. Protip: fairy rings Protip 2: posting in color is annoying. Doing "protips" are equally annoying. Meh people who bash protips are one of my pet peeves. L
  9. Snapdragon seeds are ~ 38k Snapdragon herbs are ~8k 6 x 8k = 48k for an approximate profit of 10k per seed Ranarr seeds are ~ 23k Ranarr herbs are ~ 6.2k 6 x 6.2k = 37.2k for an approximate profit of 14k per seed Toadflax gives ~ 12k profit per seed Dwarf weed is ~ 8k profit per seed Kwuarm gives ~ 12k profit per seed Average of 6 herbs (Including the occasional dead herbs) The average is more like 6.4-6.8 including deaths. I believe it varies per seed, like ranarrs give a lower average yield. Anyway, it doesn't change the point. In this case dyi isn't a good idea, better just to farm snaps for profit then do whatever you want with that.
  10. I honestly don't see why you wouldn't trade it for all opulent tables. Maybe I'm missing something though :-#
  11. Meh, I have all stats but probably can't be bothered to do it. Faster skills neck tele's = faster herb runs so that's good.
  12. Meh, keep farming. I hyted you so your harvests should be lucky now :D Good luck on those goals!
  13. Meh I'm not getting any better yields than at 80 or even 70 so I guess it's indeed random. Quite a good guide, few things I'd change: Take 3 composts and no rake, you wont need it that much. You can just get your two other composts from the bank after banking in camelot after the 3rd patch. Plant marigolds too, they're awesome. Add like 7k/run, even more if you compost them but that's too much of a hassle imo. I take 3 laws, 2 fires and an air staff. Takes as many spaces as all runes but saves some money. I prefer to keep lumby ring in inventory for easier tele'ing, that also makes the ring spot free for a duelling ring, which is convenient for banking and also tele's close to the cactus patch for an extra 7.5k. Otherwise, awesome guide for beginning and advanced farmers!
  14. Are you from Mars?
  15. I went there yesterday for the first time and brought verac's skirt for luring, extra range defence too. Went quite well once I figured out I shouldn't lure that 10th lobster, but had to tele after 500 bursts. I was trapping the dagganoths, and all of a sudden I was down to 13 hp after the range daggs/wallasalki owned me. Am I just unlucky that they suddenly hit me so high or is there a way to prevent this (I was at around 75 hp when I started the lure, and I still had melee pray on when I appeared in my house :?)?
  16. Congratulations@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@[/color]
  17. No, I believe they're all multiples of 0.6. Making stuff like unf potions is 0.6 secs per, while cooking fish is 2.4. You'll have to test the rest for yourself though :P
  18. I hadnt factored it in because I intended to save it. I didnt know that it gave double xp though :S So I would probably craft them. I haven't done mep2 and I don't intend to. Perhaps you could give me advice on how to craft astrals? By this, I mean teleporting. You could do law tabs to 82 then just continue on the same way except with astral tabs, I guess.
  19. How can a human provide evidence for the existence of a being who we can't see or even understand? Why would we even pray to and believe in such a being if we don't even know what it is, what it does, what it wants and if it's even real?
  20. I don't see why you would make laws all the way, deaths are better xp and astrals after 82 are better profit :?
  21. Gah. This really scared me lol, my sound was turned way too loud
  22. Powermine iron ores at the hobgoblin mine, normal powermining is like 40k xp/hour so it should be awesome xp :P
  23. Fastest way would be with a yak so you don't have to bank. With a tbird, I'm pretty sure this is fastest: Trollheim tele, run to patch. Ectophial tele, run to patch. Skills necklace to fishing guild, run to ardy patch. Camelot tele, bank and run to patch. Lumbridge ring tele to cabbage, run to patch. Bank at cwars, harvest cactus spines if you want. If you're 96 mage, using catherby tele would be faster but you'd have to use spellbook swap for trollheim tele. Always keep running, use scrolls or the lumbridge ring if needed. You can plant your seed as soon as your bucket with compost is empty, you don't have to wait for the animation of composting to end.
