  1. Standard requirement for an armadyl team.
  2. Did cold war, hunt for red raktuber(sp?), eagle's peak, the chosen commander, grim tails, and the great brain robbery over the weekend. After devious minds and rocking out today I have 162 quest points, and I still need to do regicide, roving elves, MEP 1 and 2 for the WGS quest requirements, which will also put me at 270 quest points, so I can do WGS! I'll finish up the rest of the quests after that then try tormented demon hunting. It isn't in my nature to do the occasional quest, I do them in large spurts, so I probably won't be able to wear it for long though.
  3. Any reason why you got defence before attack and strength? Your melees are too high to be an effective range tank in PvP and you'd have better XP rates training attack and strength first, or controlled with even stats.
  4. A mixture of both. For example, point 5: Player 1 puts in a selling offer for [item] at 997,000. 20 minutes later, player 1 puts in a selling offer for [item] at 995,000. 5 minutes after that, player 3 puts in a buy offer for [item] at 1,000,000. Because player 1's offer is older, he gets his 997,000 gold, even if player 2 had a lower price. Player 3 said he was willing to pay up to 1m, so he gets [item] and 3,000 gold back. If you wonder how I know this, it was stated in an angry RSOF thread about a sudden and bizarre drop in a merch clan's item, even though all the "large buyers" still had near-empty buy offers for max, and the ge didn't update the prices for any other item. The clan thought that Jagex has tampered with the price, and a Jmod suggested that maybe: 1) The merch clan decided to buy out the item. Another, rival clan saw this and also started to buy them out. 2) After both sides had amassed a decent amount, the rival clan waits, say, 20 hours after the last price update, where their offers would have a very low buying priority. They put more offers to buy for max. 3) After a number of ge updates, that previous maximum is now close to the new minimum, because of the price increases. The first clan's offers have been updated with the new maximum every day, while the rival clan has much older offers barely within the minimum price range. 4) The rival clan dumps their items for minimum, but the items go mostly to their own offers because they are much older thus having a much higher priority. 5) Next price update, the item's price plummets, because the previous day a large amount of items were sold for minimum. The rival clan mostly broke even, while the first clan's item is falling like a stone and are forced to dump for less profit then they would have liked. Ofcourse, no other item's price updates, so this idea can't be true, but still provides valuable insight into how the ge works. As for the "in chunks" part it's just personal experience, obviously deciding who gets items purely on time wouldn't be fair. For example if someone put in an offer for 500k death runes (an item on its ge price cap) it's not like if someone else who put in an offer 5 minutes after him would have to wait for his 500k to buy, he just has a slightly lower priority. Both offers, along with all of the other offers buying death runes, would get splits of any getting sold, but older offers get higher splits. This is why if you wanted to sell 600 hard to sell items (or buy 600 hard to buy items) it will go faster if you put 6 offers with 100 each; the difference in time between the 6 offers is miniscule but because every offer has its own priority they basically have 6x more "say" in who gets the splits. I'll try find that thread about the merch clan.
  5. Along with the dragon sq and regen brace you could play some MA and get a dragonstone ring (i). If you really don't want to do legends or buy a d sq you could use a spirit shield instead of a rune kite, 5 less stab and 7 less slash (slash is rarely used by monsters) but 4 more crush, 2 more range attack, and 1 prayer bonus. It requires you finish "Summers end" to wield.
  6. I don't think there are any slayer tasks where maging is better then meleeing or ranging. Unless you go kill the DKs. Normal combat magic is terrible xp and slow kills, you'd be better off just doing your task normally and then plankmaking.
  7. There is a fairy ring right outside the cave.
  8. Use a fury, dragon boots, and a defender, if you prayer flash it'll last the whole task. Their attack rate is the same as the whip so it's easy. When your inventory is getting full with whatever you decide to pick up pray offencively and when you need to bank teleport to your house, recharge your prayer, and use the canifis portal.
  9. Link. Under misc, it lists Curry as a drop, but it should say Curry(1-2): [hide=Proof.][/hide] I've had both 1 and 2 dropped, 2x is actually more common in my experience. And some of the notes aren't really correct: Antifire potions and protection from magic will protect 100% both from its magic attack and it's dragonbreath, so the best way to kill them is ranging while praying mage. You don't need a dragonfire shield. Also, the last note says "The Brutal Green Dragon does possess some magical attacks as well as its melee attacks." which sounds awkward, "Brutal Green Dragons possess a magical attack as well as a melee attack." reads easier.
  10. Multicombat zones let people with better levels use them. I like aviansies because I, with void, 99 range, range potions, and eagle eye when competing can push people out of the best place for spawns on world 2. I earned high levels and good gear, and I intend to use them. Compare this to say blue dragons where a slower click would not only make me lose the kill but have to wait for someone who most likely has worse stats then me to finish it, making me wait even longer, it's obvious that I should stick with aviansies. However, someone with 70 range and defence would be better suited to dragons where they have a much better chance of getting drops, seeing as it depends more on reaction time and connection speed. Saying some multicombat zones should be multi for clans only because people are better than you sounds self-centered and whiny epsecially since there are plenty of single combat money makers already.
  11. I'm pretty sure you have to click on that bit of rubble. It's been a while but I do remember the space you have to click on is small and obscure, even worse so than temple trekking.
  12. You click through the chatbox while picking an item to buy and add whoever's text was underneath where you clicked.
  13. 20,00,000 range xp. Just 10x everything I've done until max!
  14. White text on light green is hard on the eyes, don't like the stripes either, too much contrast between the 2 shades.
  15. Also half pizzas and pies are (were? Haven't gotten any in a while) common food drops from pking.
  16. Crystal bows are out dated. They have no practical use.
  17. Really? That's your guide? If you need to be told to use your best BoB, you shouldn't be going to metal dragons, seeing as it requires complicated decisions like "My dragonfire is about to run out, should I drink more?" And "There are dragon bones on the ground, should I pick them up?"
  18. That drill requires tape, not programming.
  19. Pretty easy cape to get seeing as it comes with combat, but is the best looking. 8/10
  20. You seem to be forgetting that Jagex releases new skills and content to do. Since I made my first account, many skills' training has been made faster, or require less clicking. I dislike the word easier, because nothing in runescape is hard, in the end it's just picking a meathod and pressing buttons in the same pattern over and over. Melee has had abyssal whips, defenders, and armoured zombies, prayer gilded altars and offer-X, ranging chinchompas and void, runecrafting graahks and abyssal famliars, and potions for all applications are much cheaper. And how do you get these things? New skills like slayer, contruction, hunter, summoning, and farming. Get void from best control, defenders from the warrior's guild. Want better rings? Imbue them with mobilising armies. When I think back to how long it would take to get 99 in all skills, finish all the quests, and get all the minigame items when I first became a member compared to now, it's much shorter.
  21. It would be within the rules, but "look" identical to macroing, especially if you leave it overnight while you're beside your computer. Whether or not the xp is worth the risk is up to you.
