Plans for the blog.
I already run a RL blog at Flames & Fallacy, and really am not interested in reposting content here. I may post the occasional relevant or interesting link, but really I'll keep this blog as primarily RuneScape. In summary.... This blog is to function as a personal log of achievements, musings, plans, principles and tactics.

Thai Food
I'd like to begin expanding my culinary horizons. After deciding on this, I watched an episode of "The Big Bang Theory" and decided to start off with Thai food. I'm not exactly a picky eater, and tend towards a "food as fuel, or food for pleasure" mindset. What should I start off eating and how do I tell it it's "authentic" Thai food?

Machines of War
Why they ever canceled the Arrow... makes me ashamed to be Canadian sometimes.

School
Oh god yes. And projects that have a grade based on "creativity" and "art". Seriously, I had a newspaper scavenger hunt in my speech class and we had to give a speech on what we found. 40% was for art. In a speech class. For a scavenger hunt. I had to redo it because it was "too small" even though he didn't mention a size and I met the minimum requirements. Not to mention the fact that he wanted a collage of what we found and we can't make a collage with 11x14" poster board. God I hated that class. Yeah, I know what you mean by that. I don't mind them in some cases (for example we had to make a "spring related" picture in my math class, but using different conics in a graphing program so it actually related to the subject) but they're usually just really dumb. The things that kill me are the "write a poem about..." assignments. Poetry isn't something I like at all. I'm good at it but I have issues with sharing who I am with other people and poetry is always a very personal thing. I don't know, I'm a bit of an educational elitist so anything that isn't efficient usually just bugs me a lot. If those things really bother you why not seriously consider being homeschooled? Choosing to be homeschooled is about more than disliking school: it is a choice comprehensive of your entire life and your personality, not to mention your family and friends. It's not an easy choice, and not for everyone. It worked for me, but I know people that have had to "drop [back] in".

Dope.
Can't tell wether or not that was sarcastic or not. A friend of mine got busted with an ounce on him at school the other day. I don't understand why he would bring that much weed to school. He's a moron sometimes. He overreacts whenever he's near a teacher and acts really suspicious if he's got anything more than 2g's on him, and he like tried to run away from the principal when she saw him in the hall. I'm so confused as to how he could be that stupid. Also, I'm quite possibly dropping acid this weekend. Which should be pretty interesting. No sarcasm. Even if the acid doesn't have direct health repercussions, as was said, stupid things done while tripping certainly will.

Just feeling kind of down right now
Sorry to hear about what you went through, I really just don't know what to offer, except that the future will almost certainly be better.

Same-Sex Marriage
That's what happens when one side supports an argument according to emotional or social prejudice instead of rational moral and scientific reasoning.

Willow Prices
Ahh, yea, that makes sense. I wondered if it had anything to do with people becoming more aware of better alternatives. I just was thinking about the days when I was charging 30 gold a log as a supplier to fletchers.

Willow Prices
I know that willow logs are basically useless, unless they're all you can fletch/burn/cut. Why, however did they drop from 30, to 15 coins (after the G.E. was released) and then to the 8gp they are now?

Stealing Creation
Helpful. I've been wondering about earning some hammers, and had considered this. I'll try it out.

Tip.it Times 21 March 2010
Both great articles, really enjoyed them, especially the one by Racheya, which essentially summarized why I enjoyed enjoy Shattered heart so much.

Nasturtium, or Limpwurt?
Ok, makes sense. I'm not a very experienced farmer, and just wanted some input.

The Problem For Skillers
It's a problem for everyone who has a skill/xp total that is inconsistent with what players expect their combat level to be. Lets just all be grateful for skill capes and expensive armor.

Runescape forums.
In my opinion, the RSOF are just the result of too many immature children being confided to an unmoderated space on the internet.

Godsword Requirements Too Low?
No, I think that 75 is a reasonable level. i prefer to use a whip & defender anyway, so I hardly see why the level requirements should be higher.

Constitution Update
It really was just a useless update, and after quite a bit of slaying, I still haven't gotten used to it. I mean, I'm not up in arms over it like everyone at the RSOF, but I certainly would have preferred that it wasn't updated.

Help me out!! =D
Was going to answer, but Dark Aura put it better than I could've.

When should I start cooking monks?
Get the Gauntlets from Family Crest, and if you have the cash, switch now. If not, wait until level 91-92.

Nasturtium, or Limpwurt?
I'm growing watermelons, and don't have access to White Lillies yet. Would you recommend using Nasturtiums, to protect them, or Limpwurts, for the cash and extra XP?

Fibre Optic Broadband
Funny, I just read an article about this, but I can't seem to find it. =/ Says that it blows everything else away, which seems to be the consensus of the posters here.

Why Runescape needs instanced bosses.
Makes sense... it really seems like it's a long overdue update: there just aren't enough monsters to go around, and crashing ruins it for everyone. Could the frequency of rare drops be decreased to compensate?

Welcome to Invision Power Board!
I have to say that I preferred the looks of the old forum, but the new features are certainly an upgrade.

RIP OLD SCHOOL
Yes, I rather miss "the good old days" as well, although I'm not sure if that's because I have such fond memories of the game way back then, or if RuneScape really has hit the seemingly inevitable decline that almost all other games do.
