No! My Runescape Site is better!
I use a combo of Sals & Tip.it. I Don't use Sal's Forum because I don't like the colour scheme & layout. (Yeah I'm picky. Suck it.) RuneScape Wiki is awesome too.

What's your Runescape story?
I love threads like these. Thanks for making it. \ 1. The Forgotton Ones The Forgotten Ones (cool name :D ) are a series of noob accounts that I made when I first started RuneScape, which was back in 2004. I can't remember the exact names, but I can remember T-Rex & Tricon bieng a few of them. There were about 4 to 6 of them, each one of them died & I never played on them again. My first experience was following the grey brick road to death. I had no idea how to play, as my friend did the tutorial for me. There I was, walking through the crossroads at Draynor, somehow the Highway man there did not get me. As I went on I strayed off the track, & found the Rimmington Mine. I had no idea what the hoard of people down there were doing.. I thought they were attacking eachother! I ran away to the farm outside Falador where I met my mortal enemy; The Highway Man that guards the corner turn to Falador! I had no idea what an NPC was at the time, so I assumed he was another player. "Stand & Deliver!". Uh oh, didn't see that one coming. He started to attack, while I asked "Y r u ataking me". That was my first death. Many similar ones followed. some by the same highway man, others I brought upon myself (I thought the Gaurds had cool armour, but I confused total level with combat level..). One death was due to a scammer, who promised me of riches in the wilderness. Once we got to level 42 & we hadn't found anything, he decided my life's usefullness had expired. After a while I quit, & so ended the legacy of The Forgotten Ones. 2. Ghost A year later I returned, this time I made my account after I was hyped up watching an episode of "Danny Phantom" (that used to entertain me as a kid.). That particular episode was about the main character getting hooked onto an MMORPG, which brought back memories of RuneScape. I decided to make an F2P account called Ghosterboy (the same name the main character used in the cartoon), but it was taken, so I did the most original thing I could think of: add numbers to the end. So began the start of Ghosterboy20's journey. Unlike The Forgotten Ones, Ghost (as people called me) was ready for those pesky highway men & scammers. I decided to take up mining, which, in time, would reach 67 before I decided to call it quits once again. I spent a year on Ghost, & during this time I advanced 64 combat levels & had even found a counterpart. My friend decided to make a girl version of Ghost, christened Ghostergirl0, which was never successful. During my year on Ghost, & had two short months of membership, but nothing much happened then, apart from me try to get the quest reqs for Monkey Madness (me & my friend though we could get a Dragon Scimitar with 30 combat). Ghost's legacy ended after I realised I would never realise my dream of obtaining Full Saradomin just by mining coal in the Mining guild, competition was fierce, coal prices were low & Saradomin was just out of reach. 3. F03 - F0rerunn3r Two years after I made a new account to do the Halloween event (for fun). What turned into an annual trip to RuneScape became the start of a new beginning. The name F0rerunn3r derived from the name Forerunner (Duh), which were a race of ancient biengs who are discussed the Halo videogames. I had recently got an XBox360, & I was playing Halo like a freak on steroids, but my brother started to hog it, so I came on to do the H'Ween event. F0rerunn3r advanced very quickly through levels. Within a week I had got him to 30 combat, & in one & in 2 & a half months I was level 60. My friends from my new high school were quick to lend a hand, so by the time I was level 65, I already had 3M. I have no idea what happened to the money, as I have only recently gained it back. I've been stuck in the level 90's for a couple of months now, & I am currently aiming for a 99 in cooking. My story is still bieng written, & I hope that it will be written for many years to come. & I hope every chapter will stick with F0rerunn3r.

You're Banned! Account Deleted!
I would happily start again. But first I'd send Jagex a bomb made out of orange juice, baking soda & detergent.
-
Do you do holiday events?
Ditto.
-
what are blunt weapons?????
Bronze Warhammers. All the way up to rune.. maybe dragon in the future. Battleaxes I think.. Maybe maces.
-
How did you come across runescape?
I heard my friends talk about in grade 5, so I searched MoonScape on Google (I misheard..). Eventually found it, but quit after a highway man killed me. Rejoined on Halloween 2007.

What is your personal favourite?
which slayer monsters you enjoy killing? Basilisks :D I love dragon battleaxe spec + black mask + whip > basilisks. Which slayer monsters do you sigh at when you get assigned? ALL OF THEM excluding basilisks. I would also, like to know the reasons why? They're boring & take too long.

How would you modify Runescape?
I would put a chat filter in that would censor anything except 1337 speak. w3lcum_2 ruenscap3 lawl(h)!!!!!!!1111eleven U haev itmes w8!ng 4 u in teh granned xch4nge (0ll3c+!o|\| b[]x. |\/| 0 + |-| 3 |2 f ^ ( |< 3 |2 ahs logd !n. That would be so epic..

If you could have any username what would it be?
99StrPkerxx296851 ftw. Maybe Meteora (Linkin Park obsession :D), Blessed Aro (own it, don't use it), the original Forerunner (some narb owns it but isn't using it) or Beer Baron.

most overrated item.
The most overrated items are iMacs & iPods. Prayer pots are overrated in certain areas. You don't NEED them to kill Aviansies.
-
The Center of Your Universe...
Well, I move around alot, but the places I stay at for hours at a time are the Grand Exchange & GWD killing Aviansies. (although late at night so there are less rude noobs to steal my kills.)
-
One Day....
FIREMAKING LAWL(h)!!!!!1111one Seriously, maybe Summoning or Agility..
-
Would you remove Grand Exchange?
I just read the title; none of the posts. NO.
-
Did you accomplish your goals?
Lets see.. Is my woodcutting 99 yet? Nope. :)
-
Is there too many quests?
:P So if there are too many quests, how many is the right amount?
-
Which one did you 'like' best: PKers or Revenants?
My thoughts EXACTLY. I find Revs make treasure trails harder, especially when you have to go to Lvl 50+ Wildy. So you mean there are NO Revs in PVP worlds?
-
What graphics mode do you use?
HD Resizable. I use tabs alot, so I need to be able to see the browser. & for some reason my current Windows Vista theme isn't compatible with HD Fullscreen, so HD changes my theme every time I access it.

Creating new life in old places... But how/where?
The name of this topic so closely reminds me of Fable II... Oh God, please no. Unless they put a safe city in the middle of it, I hope Jagex don't focus on it too much. I'm scared **** of revenants, I can never finish a level 3 clue without having a wilderness stalker. I really hope Draynor gets a graphic update soon. That's kind of like new life.. in an ancient place. That last noticeable update was the Wise Old Man breaking into the bank.. & that was.. three years ago. Hemenster could use a lick of paint too, the Fishing guild just doesn't look worthwhile without a nice appearance to reward your time spent levelling. Since Rimmington seems to be the first thing on everyone's mind when they think of old places; I think it has great potential to become the first "skilling town". It's already got a mine (even if it is the lower grade ores) & a POH Portal. It's got willows & yews close to the bank deposit box (though only accessible by those hwo have completed Rocking Out; which I think is fair. There's no need for a good woodcutting spot to be ruined.), it's near the crafting guild. All it needs is a few fishing spots, a cooking range & maybe a summoning obelisk a short run away. The only downside is if Jagex were to add a bank, the woodcutting would be ruined. In fact, now that I think of it; the Yews & Willows near the deposit box might have been an attempt by Jagex to increase concentration in the town.

It's been a year....
Every one complained for a while (I decided to hop on the wagon  ) but we all eventually learned to suck it up. There are some narbs who are still thinking of rioting though.. I remember a massive F2P riot, I think the uniform was a pink skirt.. The day the mods were useless.. lawl. Before I get off topic. It didn't really affect me. I only started selling items after the GE came out, so the trade limit didn't affect me merchant-wise. & I only start borrowing/lending after the Lending feature was released, so I've never had trouble managing with the limits.

What time period does RS most closely resemble?
I think it's a mixture of different times. (My opinion. You disagree? Shut your yap & just input your own. ) The basic foundation is the Middle Ages/Medieval theme. Then you've got small quantities of colonial style regions, such as the Sanguinesti region. & there's a slight hint of "The Age of Highwaymen". The times when pirates were at their peak.

2nd January 2009 - Behind the Scenes 2009 // January
I bet it's here within a week. Jagex usually release updates on Tuesdays & Saturdays(or is it Fridays instead of Saturdays? :-# ), we should be looking forward to the 13th of January.. Who knows? 8-) :o  :? :!: :^o :shame:

The Ultimate tool and Inventing Minds (Quest) in the works
By lighter, you mean it would replace a tinderbox? Nice, fair requirements. Finally someone who understands you don't need a total level of 2000+ to do a quest. You've got my support.

The second grandmaster quest
I'm pretty sure the quest writers plan out the storyline for plots. So the guy who wrote While Guthix Sleeps (people need to stop abbreviating this by the way, it's a quest name, not a bloody godsword.) probably has the next quest(s) planned out. It's not a bad piece of writing though, give or take a few alterations.

2nd January 2009 - Behind the Scenes 2009 // January
Logout timer increased: awesome. The current timer only allows me to get a small snack from the kitchen before I have to race back to the computer. :shame: Pheonix familiar: I'm not going to get excited. If I had to guess, Pheonix sounds like a level 50ish - 70ish sort of name, so I think the flaming birds would require 50 - 70 level summoning requirement. Upgrading old content: Honestly, one of the smartest ideas made by Jagex. The old content is the foundation of RuneScape, so instead of releasing a flashy new update every month that people will only bother to try once, we can improve what made RuneScape the game we all know & love. Looks like it's going to be a good year for RuneScape in 2009.
