I think they are fairly average and lacking in innovation. Take to the Skies really wanted to be Horse the Band and they fell short because they take themselves so seriously. Horse the Band is s**tty metalcore with synths but they're hilarious because they know how to use irony and make fun of themselves and the genre. Take to the Skies was some cool trance beats over a rather pathetic high school attempt at "metalcore", if it can even be called that. Chugging the same drop C# power-chord and the odd melodic death metal riff doesn't make for good metalcore. Oh no. I listened to some of Common Dreads and it's alright. The electronic stuff is actually pretty good and I think they should become a glitchy post-metal band or something because they're doing that right. Average post-hardcore sections and yet more drop-tuned chugging kind of kill any credibility it has as a mature album, though. Also, the singer's accent is f***ing annoying; I'm from England and I don't know a single person who draws out their accent like that. So yeah. Pretty mediocre/average. It's all subjective, though. I like a ton of stuff most people here would hate.

I consider myself an English nationalist. I underwent a pretty radical change not so long ago. I always used to complain about how bad England is and constantly whine in a cringe-worthy teenage way about "freedom" and "civil liberties" and various other things related. However, one day, I found myself having this great sense of pride in belonging to England. We have a very diverse background and I believe that preseving this is an important thing. I see myself as predominantly English rather than British, as well. A lot of people seem to unfortunately make a link with English nationalism and such groups as the British National Party, the National Front, the English Defence League and the England First Party - the only remotely English nationalist group out of those is the last one. I don't support racism or xenophobia. I'm simply a centre-right type who believes in putting England before Britain. I would go into more depth about the campaign for an English parliament, but I believe that it isn't suitable for this thread. It's a controversial issue.
