  1. It's not really mathcore at all. Mathcore is Botch, Converge, and so on. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LizrUBa75jE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CMPvknyczCE Converge is like anger in its purest form. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P08Bpn1rbXs

    Today...

It happens when I get lost in my own thoughts. I think it's quite nice.

  4. Life. You don't even need to take action. In a few years, they will realise that this hasn't actually worked and that they've wasted yet more money. I'm very neutral on the whole piracy and intellectual property issue, but I think that crackdowns are a waste of resources. It's called career politicians. They're all over the first world.
  5. Youtube uses a fair amount per video watched. If you're watching one three minute video a day on 320x resolution, you won't see much bandwidth usage. However, if you're watching two hours of movies on HD, that can be just as bad as torrenting a full movie. Point: Streaming doesn't always save bandwidth. That's not really what I was implying. I said it doesn't use as much as everyone thinks it does. It's not really going to save you bandwith either way but I know I don't rack up any more than 10GB a month on Youtube (and often it's far less than that); but I don't stream HD stuff because I'm impatient and the quality isn't that great anyway. The fact that he's going to be streaming full-length movies worries me more than YouTube use, and it's actually quite easy to go over if you're streaming those because you don't have any real idea of the video's filesize, etc. I think you need to do everything in moderation if you've got such a small quota. I manage to go over 50GB most months quite easily, and that's with 100GB. I could probably just get by on 40 if I didn't torrent anything.

Unlucky. I've not had any problems with my PS3 since I bought it; it was second-hand as well. I'd say get it repaired properly and not do what my stepdad does and purposefully overheat it to save money.
  7. 1: RuneScape and online games in general don't use that much. My upload speed is 45kB/s and I can support 5 players in a game, just to give you an example. You'd be looking at it using 5-10kB/s of bandwidth maximum. 2: YouTube uses less than people like to think it does but as long as you aren't watching HD, I doubt you'd rack up that much unless you're watching really long videos all the time. Spotify's usage is probably about the same. 3: Very little. Like, I can open Ventrilo, talk, and my network meter will hardly move. If neither of you are heavy users, then you'll have more than enough. You might want to both install a program like NetMeter which lets you monitor how much you're using and will alert you if it thinks you're going to run over the limit.

Irish/Scottish genes. I've only aged since I've started smoking and consuming alcohol. It's the same for every one of us.

I always call myself ginger because it's just synonymous with having red hair here. I have a similar colour of hair to yours, then. It's easily mistaken for brown indoors.

I'm not a true ginger anymore. :V Auburn hair and I only have visible freckles on my arms and hands.

It was mad stormy here today as well. I'm ginger, so I approve of any days when the sun isn't blaring down on me.
  16. Radiohead put out some really nice stuff with The Bends and Kid A. I don't really like anything else, but OK Computer was one of the first non-metal albums I listen to. I found them pretty addictive back then. AC/DC, however, have zero redeeming qualities. Oh yes. This band is so insipid and repetitive that I could use them as a sleeping aid.
  17. More powerful hardware is out of his/her budget. It will easily play games at high settings, sure my monitor is only 1440x900, but even on my budget build, i can play on high settings without lag. Asus is weird in customer service sometimes, and MSI - i don't know if they've changed to better components yet - but their components are/used-to-be of cheap quality. Yeah. My Athlon X2 7750 and 8800GTS can still run most things on high at 1280x1024. It starts to struggle at about 1680x1050 (comfortable on medium) but anything above that needs to be set to a mixture of medium/low settings for it to run well and still look relatively alright. It's kind of amazing how older hardware is still good considering all the advances since I built this. Yeah, with ASUS you're taking a bit of a gamble (as I've learned) but the coolers and performance figures are quite nice on them. The newer MSi cards are pretty good quality, and again, they have really nice coolers and performance. I've never dealt with HIS and the only dedicated ATi GPU brand I've used is Sapphire, again, fairly good but not really amazing. Also, seconding Dell monitors being great. When this one gives up, I think I'll get a Dell one.
  18. Antivirus programs often get in my way rather than being useful. Of course, I have one installed because it's kind of silly to run Windows without anything to fall back on if stuff does go wrong. I usually have the active protection disabled though.

  22. Whoa, hold on! You're only fifteen? I thought you were a bit older.
