  1. Its called having several different sectors in a company. One works on something, while another sector works on something else, I'm sure you know this though. I'm also sure you know that different company sections usually have nothing to do with eachother until the final countdown of releasing. Meaning the graphical/art section couldn't give a rats [wagon] about what you think is important, wether it is important or not. A number of people go to work to draw and make wallpapers, and go home again not caring about ingame issues. Let me stress again, that you're not entitled to know squat, just because you might think its important for yourself and the rest of Runescape.
  2. Thought this was general forum, not the runescape website. :P :?
  3. Good idea for making branches of different skills, instead of raising the max level from 99 to XX.
  4. With that attitude that might be your first, and last day on tip.it .. lol Meh, he has a point. Lots of people agree with him. With the autoers gone it does make it harder and more expensive to train those usually easy-bought skills. I didn't mind them tbh. But then again I don't rely heavily on fishing or wcing. It all depends on how you play the game. When has it become better, that bots are here and the prices are low ? I'd rather 1 raw lob for 1000 each, than 1000 raw lob for 1 gp each, fished by autoers.. I play a multiplayer game, not multibot game, btw i have the char named multibot :P
  5. ur right indy, im a math noob
  6. RS was once entirely F2p, than it evolved into a members- nonmembers section. Why would they go back to f2p-only and have to move back to Ms. Gowers upstairs bedroom? I don't think Jagex HQ can fit there anymore
  7. With that attitude that might be your first, and last day on tip.it .. lol
  8. :-s [radius, not diameter dude] Radius is just half of what diameter is. Since its a hemispherical room, go figure.
  9. I've only beein the stronghold once, since it was launched. ice giants are best f2p high level training spot, seeing as they drop big bones, which giant spiders don't. That, and one usually returns with around 50k in loot each trip. And circa 10k prayer exp. So we somewhat disagree :)
  10. Its 6 in the morning here and I'm not gonna read ur replies until tommorow.. Dunno whats up with your obsessive quoting me and all, but the last thing I have to say for today is that I didn't see you around these forums until the market started getting all shaky, Qeltar. Explain please. Also explain what benefit you get out of all these posts. Other than the clicks to your personal website, that is. nighty night.
  11. It describes Room A as a hemispherical room. A hemisphere is a globe cut in half. So to everyone who thinks they will enjoy much comfort in Room A, you must know that the only place where you can stand up to your full height, would be the exact center of the room, Since the radius is twice your height. I hope this isn't too hard to understand. Otherwise just google hemisphere, to get what I'm saying. I choose Room A nonetheless.
  12. Ya man, only the first two lines were directed to you , if you misunderstood anything :) I hated fatigue like the plague, in fact the fatigue period was when I pk'ed most and made most noob chars, since I couldnt stand running to a bed or forgetting sleeping bags. I gave up skilling, for pking. But look where we are now, we're not in the fatigue period anymore. I am now doing skills again, and I don't pk (guess why) Times change, and RS will turn for the better, and when that day comes, we can acknowledge the effort against macroers and rwt'ers. Whoever thinks RS trading system as it is ATM , will stay as it is ATM. is a fool. The whole of RS keeps getting tampered with all the time, and you mentioned, something like a group of small friends who can trade unrestrictedly will most likely pop up in some future update. So chill everybody, and don't get sucked into a stupid trend - hating jagex.
  13. If he doesnt , I will try to help him, The difference is oldies dont care about rare increases. we saw them rise, We all knew bluerose couldnt control the market forever. However we also know jagex introduced sleeping bags due to player demand, We know they moved the family crest demon from the lava maze to edge dungeon to make it more "fair". The difference is fook , Trade is a different beast, a common gameplay feature all took for granted and maybe enough pitbulls like me who are crazy or stupid enough to remember the jagex of old heard our voices will not drop this topic and let the players forget. Jagex wants us to with updates, but I will not forget this day My post isn't even about trade updates; its about the prices of things, and how people shouldnt complain about the prices of today, since they will be forgotten tommorow (figuratively speaking) The half-truth is that people are getting worked up alot, cuz they see no more quick money, no more fast deals and cutting corners here and there to making millions. Sure, not being able to give ur friend an expensive items is irritating, but isn't it because one can't get rich in a jiffy, that most are rioting? It all started with staking removed, remember? Staking, only the fastest way to get rich with literally no skills, other than following a duelling guide explaining which stats to train for your level. Mind you the richest stakers weren't even high levelled, furthermore confirming the little amount of time you had to put into your character, to be able to make billions. Clearly Jagex demands you to put more time into your char, if you wish to see anything pay off in the long run, and I don't blaim them. -- Also, one should keep in mind, that customer support is customer support. Not an administrative game development center where you send in idea's of what one personally thinks is best for the game. Keep this in mind qeltar, next time you message customer support with what you think Jagex should and should not do with the game they own. Yes folks, I'm one of those people qeltar refers to as the ones who stick up for jagex through thick and thin. Seems to me like I enjoy the game more though, after all, thats the intention of the game. To enjoy it. Half the people posting here dont seem to enjoy the game, and thats a personal problem, not a company's. If you find yourself running your head into the wall with Jagex, than abandon them, they aren't the ones knocking your door down forcing you to play, nor do they force the $5 out of your hand, and remember, you can pay MONTHLY fee's, so if you get mad at the game and quit like a quitter, you can do it and only "lose" $5.. (just thot I'd mention the $5. It makes some persons feel important) Now go ahead and tell me I'm a jagex clone. at least I'm not one of those people with a giant cloud above my head whenever i play RS, because it just "pisses me off how jagex keep ruining their game".----- well I say go buy into the company if you're gonna allow yourself to get pissed off on someone elses behalf. at least ur anger will be justified. (let me remind u that $5 a month is not buying into a company, to anyone who might get that idea)
  14. I don't complain that r2h's don't cost 1 mil each anymore and that p hats dont cost NOTHING anymore, in a few years, or even MONTHS, people won't care as much as they do now. Jagex knows this. Prove me wrong 1 year from now Qeltar. I've seen how RS'ers forget pretty much everything after a while and the price changes will affect noone except the merchants still standing around , all bothered that they have nothing to do anymore. Sorry but thats the real truth.
  15. So what the letter to the topic creator means is, that Jagex is working on making name changes (something a J-mod posted was going to be put into game on RSOF). The letter instructs the topic creator to return to his "main" char, although the name could be offensive, since they are working on a "new solution". The new solution pretty obviously being allowing name changes. For those of which it is required, that being players with offensive offensive names. They are NOT instructing him to return to his offensive named main character, just to ban him. Seems like they are going easy on banning offensive names atm, due to development the possibility to change name, something they previously have not been able to do.
  16. also i HAd to post this pic. notice the balloons above me and my drunken hobo friend.
  17. in the bathroom wearing some girls sunglasses was cutting my hair and some guy came along with a camera haha
  18. I think you're just overreacting. In Rs there are a number of oddites, who choose to do odd things, in odd places.
  19. Speaking only from a personal view of things, the whole shebang of updates targeted at "everyone" in general, has not affected me. I rarely trade ingame, and have only had fortune with the GE. So personally I have no greivances to voice about anything. I can see why many ppl in general tho, are affected negatively.
  20. Well you obviously missed the fact, that most p2p'ers have played longer, are higher levelled in combat AND skills, and generally can provide for themselves better. Your test is definitely not going in-depth. Try for example going to the mining guild and sayin the same, f2p miners and p2p miners don't give a hoot in general, as they are busy mining.. If you did it in a bank or in varrock square, ur pretty much asking for it.
  21. who doesnt? ppl who's families were killed by ninjas of course 8-)
