  1. ...as the melee noobs run toward you in a DFS and full Armadyl. Armadyl is not melee gear. And you can safespot them fairly easily, melee players have much less experience controlling where they are during combat since they have so few options. Excuse me?? It's armour. The OP said any armour is melee, so it is melee gear when used in relation to this thread. We could argue semantics all night long. A good ranger can defeat a good melee player at roughly even combat levels quite handily in many situations. Though the melee player can always get lucky, and luck becomes more and more dangerous as the players get higher in levels.
  2. I think a small but powerful god-based spellbook (no teleports, completely combat based, and heavily dependent on equipment of that particular god). I'm thinking maybe 6-8 spells ranging from maybe 80 magic up each requiring a staff dedicated to the particular god the spell corresponds to. I'm thinking 1 Armadyl Spell, 1 Bandos Spell, 1 new Zamorak Spell, 1 new Saradomin Spell, a Guthix spell (I have an idea for that, averages all combat stats out making the players completely balanced -except magic, the spell couldn't make itself uncastable- very risky on a lower level but excellent on higher levels).

  4. Broad arrow! It'd hurt more. \
  5. I slay a lot at 96 cb. Almost 70 slayer now, and my combat wont be rising much as I range exclusively.
  6. I enjoy killing Mighty Banshees.
  7. They just need to become addicted to CrackScape.
  8. I'd like my character to achieve complete transcendence into the ethereal realm of the gods.
  9. ...as the melee noobs die.
  10. Well. A magic weapon would need to attack faster, or add wicked amounts of defense and/or magic attack. Perhaps unlocks a magic spell that is highly powerful, maybe make it able to cast miasmic as well as that stupid pvp staff.
  11. His hole? You're the one getting pwned here. Your logic fails me Read the thread, as objectively as you possible can. How can you not see that you're the idiot in this situation?

  13. Sara sword is the same speed as a whip. Fail. OT: well, godswords. MAybe the magic shortbow.
  14. Item: Christmas Cracker (or, if you mean ANYTHING, the dark bow being 1 notch faster) Level: 99 agility, herblore, or slayer. Quest Completed: While Guthix Sleeps, then everything else would be done.
  15. Sorry, but no it isn't. Each "dry" kill is just that and nothing more, they won't increase the odds of getting a whip drop as you imply in your post here. Not a bad guide overall though. Barrows helms pwn neitiznot and berserker though.
  16. Veracs with Guthan's helm. Awesome look ftw!
  17. What about smoke burst? Smoke barrage may beat ice barrage but probably not burst.
  18. The year of Graphics man! Can't say anything else came close. Wonder what '09 will come to...
  19. And still no 99? \ Just messing. Better post than some of the drivel you can find here...
  20. Thread owned. This is very very true. 0 risk too if you aren't an imbecile.
  21. Need to modify that first graph to point out what little F2P brings in. Next time they whine post it. Maybe include an OWNED graphic.
  22. Me too, except that last bit.
  23. My parents are together. But my friend's step-dad comes across as a fat, vulgar, lazy bastard.
  24. Good thread, hate to see it moved to die. 1. Aviansies - Honestly, money, XP, tankability, available primarily to rangers (always a plus, melee gets plenty). 2. Mighty Banshee - Great drops, amazing safespots, impractical for melee users as well, and on top of that decent XP. 3. Brine Rats - Jagex smiled upon us. 4. Fire Giants - Good ranging XP and they pay for the supplies used. Can also be a slayer task providing loads of XP. 5. Red Dragons - Money, safe to kill, never crowded. And 5 least favorite (#1 is worst) 1. Aberrant Spectres - Massive annoyance, decent defense, slow task with little profit. 2. Wild Dogs - Such a pain, can be dealt with but really ruin some great training locations. 3. Hellhounds - Hard to access, slow XP, laaaaame drops. 4. Iron Dragons - Lame drops most of the time, huge defense, annoying task. 5. Cave Crawlers (the high level ones) - ruin a handy shortcut to the slayer cave. So annoying.
