As far as I'm guessing, the main problem with the Staff's price is that the number of people who can use the staff are really a much smaller group compared to other popular items like claws or whatnot. Demand for this item is going to be naturally quite a bit lower as a result, so I'm not holding out for any huge price jumps as it is.

In the FAQ, Jagex stated that they intentionally designed this spell to be the highest DPS singleway combat spell. The theory is looking good so far.

I tried to open an agility effigy earlier. It was sated, so I boosted with a summer pie to 95/90. Just as I investigated the effigy and flipped through the dialogue boxes, my boost dropped to 94/90. Advanced to gorged. No XP rewarded. GF 91 agility and 2400 total -.- Unspam might come later, lol.
