If you think this is bad, wait till you get to Castle Wars for the helm. I'm not looking forward to that either. That said, Soul Wars really is terrible with all the bots and lag. Sounds like your luck is terrible too. Also, I thought you quit? Or did you come back for ROTM?

It's common knowledge that plate is the best bind for xp/hr. Don't post "advice" when you have no experience on the topic at hand. If you're so experienced, then you enlighten us, why don't you? He just told you that plates are the best 3rd bind for xp/hr. Fact.

That's limited to GD clearing. What Maz is talking about is running paths through the dungeon, where you don't actually stop to fight anything, just rushing through rooms to continue a path carved out. There's really limited skill requiring in the actual act of running from one side of a room to another (short of using cover), so in those situations any "room-clearing techniques" you have aren't going to help much.

You can mix wins in Novice/Intermediate/Veteran boats, they all count equally towards the Hybrid Boots. I got my first set at 566 wins, so don't be too discouraged.

Coming from a purist standpoint, I'd rather all the effort I make in this game be my own. Yep, my own blood, sweat and tears. Into a VIDEOGAME. Oh yes. Oh and I really don't like the idea of mass scale resource collection by bots, but compare the prices of 2007-2010 to now. Sadly, their economic impact has helped me in most of my skilling, somewhat cheapening my achievement.

I'd guess that lower leveled mages who haven't gotten access to the higher leveled spells might continue to alch for XP, generating cash from whatever they're alching. Also, chances are that they wouldn't be the type to superheat mine or plank make, anyway :P

They're talking about clearing a dungeon completely before BXPW kicks in, since they want to reach the maximum possible modifier (0 deaths, +10% mod) and cash that dungeon's XP in within the first few seconds of BXPW. So yeah, a full sweep definitely takes more than seven minutes :P

Or we can just tell them again, maybe direct them to the DevBlog or something. That's the whole point of the Help & Advice forum, right? :)
