Why no protection to the KKK? I understand back when they were violent, yes, but why now? That's what's confusing me. People pick and choose what they think is morally acceptable and think everything that they disagree with should be banned. That's not free speech, that's communism. actually I am putting the limit of free speech at hate speech, because while I hate to limit rights some people simply abuse them. for instance anyone that wants to protest the war in Iraq saying we shouldnt be there and what not should be heard and respected; however, if they want to protest by saying our soldiers are going to burn in hell and are murderers should be stopped from such protests as they are inciting riots/panic. The KKK should not be protected because what they stand for is hatred and intolerance, they arent protesting a social issue such as abortion or gay marriage, simply saying everyone that isnt white is inferior. I feel odd agreeing with ginger on this though lol

I will agree with you about the intolerance of intolerance. I have to say i do change my opinion there and agree certain protests shouldnt be allowed(no protection for the kkk). However to say we should just throw away freedom of expression is erroneous, we simply need to recognize that hate speech should be illegal

hmm I would go to a hospital(I know the guide says never but wait) after the initial outbreak when everyone has already been zombified. After taking all the edible food out of the cafeteria I would get to either the top floor or roof depending on how well i could remove the ways up to the top floor. your missing a key difference here while I think racists homophobes and such are total garbage they have the right to hate people as long as they are not harming anyone or going out of their way to harrass them. Obviously it should be illegal to cause harm based on anything religious or what not, which is what would make you a terrorist. (here is an example lets not flame me for being a little generic in example, and yes i know the muslims that are militant is an extremely small number) there are some muslims that believe sharia(spelling) law should be put in place instead of the current government. It should be perfectly acceptable for them to peacefully petition for this. It would be illegal for them to have that opinion if they are commiting terrorists acts based on that because they are commiting crimes. your allowed to think/believe whatever you want as long as you arent harming anyone based on that belief

Normally I am strongly second ammendmant, pro gun rights, whatever you want to call it. Teachers having guns at school probably shouldnt be allowed. I mean sure there are some good theoretical reasons such as stopping a mass killing, but there are bigger problems I would say. The main concern of course is that a teacher would go psycho and would be able to shoot a bunch of kids instead of just punching one. Schools should have some law enforcement on hand at all times to deal with problems, and 1 member of law enforcement should be able to deal with any one attacker. If more then one person at once enters a school with guns intending to massacre I dont think a few half trained teachers are going to do much other then cause more accidental damage. Yes I realize that many of them would be perfectly competant with the weapons but some would not. One other thought on this matter. While I do disagree with giving teachers guns maybe a logical thing to do would be giving teachers a basic self defense course of a day or two? Sure all the self defense in the world wont stop a bullet but a day or two of hwo to stop an attacker could prevent knife and fist attacks. edit--post above got added. Tasers would also be an interesting thing to consider and could be looked into

First off to whoever said it anyone can retire a flag by burning respectfully, not just the boy scouts and armed forces. also flag burning is legal in America as far as i know though i think often protestors are arrested for things such as violating fire codes. as for my opinion on this to the thread owner I think burning a flag for no reason is pretty stupid, though im sure you got some really amusing over reactions on that video. I will say that people that burn flags in protest do have the legal right to do so (if fire permits or whatever is needed) and they are not breaking any other laws like blocking streets. However, anyone that is protesting a single action and claiming they still want to stay in the country needs to find a better way to protest. If you want to burn my flag I want you to get out of the country. so basically while I do believe it is legal to burn flags its total bull crap and you should leave the country if you are going to burn the flag because it does mean a lot.

lets see good and clean is a little tricky, perhaps 3 rifles aimed at the heart rigged to simultaneously trigger. That should cause immediate death and not be very gruesome. Nitrogen asphyxiation seems a decent option and is only painful if you really hate feeling like you are falling asleep Anyone that takes another life intentionally should be allowed to be put to death. There need to be serious considerations for this of course, I dont want kids that were 15 at the time executed. Honestly, I am getting fed up with every single anti death penalty person claiming its barbaric. I want to empty the prisons of all the multiple killers in a very efficient and cheap way to reduce that taxpayer money going into prisons, and theres plenty of good we could do with that money. Also, did you ever consider that it is just as barbaric to keep someone locked in a cage their entire life?

sounds reasonable that the military of US and other nato countries would be on some level of alert, sounds like russia is going to keep this in georgia but always good to be prepared if they were going to move on other places

Good idea, but I think it would be more beneficial in the long run to use them in medical research instead of monkeys. for leg strength for after running find a somewhat long staircase you can use run sprints up it hitting every step about 5 times depending on length next run skipping every other step a few more times next skip two steps a few times(this will be more like walking speed since you cant run with that big of gap then hop up steps with both feet or find a nice hill and sprint up it then jog down till you cant move lol for ab strength lay down flat on your back hands to sides and try to hold both legs up about 6 inches off the ground or hold off ground moving up and down

If i ever run into something or fall I just bust out laughing at the fact my balance or focus is terrible at times. I laugh because i always phase out staring into space then snap back into focus because someone walks in front of me and it would probably look bad except that I look so unfocused noone actually thinks im staring

With that kind of attitude nothing will change. With virtually no support the so called smaller parties (imo they are virtually unexistant) can't even grow and challenge the main parties. I would rather vote for Mccain because I Obama's few policies amount to socialism which i really disagree with. Along with abortion gun control energy and anything else that is a legitimate issue. Also i actually trust that Mccain wants to help the country. I have some serious doubts about Obama's intentions, especially considering his former pastor that he claims he didnt agree with yet listened to forever. Also I dont think Mccain could lie about something then talk his way out of it so he has to be honest edit--to the post above Obama and Mccain are running fairly close in polls(highest lead ive heard recently was 5% which is margin of error. Obama has more excited supporters in general which makes him look more popular then he is. Mccain does have a bit of a temper but I wouldnt say grumpy more like he actually feels strongly in his opinions so seems a little angry at times. He is old though :P

I would really doubt that source considering that American sources say that at the least Russia is actively involved. If the Russian military claims they have nothing to do with the conflict but most other sources say they are along with the whole civilians hiding in basements and being wounded stinks of propaganda

that is definetely the best reason to vote for someone :roll: personally I wouldnt say I am loyal to either party, I agree more commonly with the republican party but have disagreements on issues they try to use as their platform(fighting gay marriage at every possible level and trying to say guns should have no restrictions, nothing wrong with gun rights but Id rather not allow fifty calibur machine guns). The democratic party annoys me quite a bit as i hate socialism with a passion, and a good bit of their policies lean towards socialism(universal health care, higher taxes and such). I just really hate the idea of giving the government more money and saying that it will set up programs to fix problems, considering the national debt the government is slowly increasing. I agree with the hemp party that marijuana should be legalized though so it can be taxed for more revenue while corporation could undercut dealers and reduce crime. Unless the hemp party has another goal then wanting marijuana legal I have to say im loyal to them to a point

As for disastors causing major deaths I doubt it because everyone would slowly move to the more moderate areas or learn to cope with what occured

problem is they are putting focus on the drilling for more oil, which we do need but not enough on wind and solar which are both clean and safe.(nuclear would also be safe and clean we just need to figure out a good way to store nuclear waste. We need to remove oil from being used as fuel as quickly as we can without causing major trouble because we need to save it for making plastics and everything else it is used for. Going after everything is the best solution we just need to make sure its more then a political game to say we are going after everything edit- I dont know anything like that offhand though one relevant example might be a recent attempt to put a solar panel field up in the desert was stopped because of goverment environmental studies to see if the solar panels would harm wildlife, in the middle of a desert
