Mario Except Mario was awesome. Bad attempt at funny/interpretation. MapleStory didn't cut it for me because 1. It was a grindfest, sort of like RS, but there wasn't really anything to spice it up. RuneScape has skills, sure it's still grinding, but at LEAST you are doing something else. MS? Just killing and killing and ranting at people and killing.... 2. You have to drain cash to actually not suck. This really put me off. I can't do ANYTHING without having to pay real life cash. 3. People are really obnoxious. I think where you guys are, this isn't really a problem, but the community harbor grudges against each other and as if keeping it to themselves isn't enough, they spread the word online. They publicly name scammers as if they were real criminals. Tell me this is a good thing. RS has extremely fun mini-games.

I have an idea that may make the Dragon Kite Shield actually worth having. It could boost your attack by 20% when you are using a Dragon weapon.

St Wars > Star Tek, Stargate...etc (you know the copy failures, and insignificant sci-fi films/books that can't compete with Star Wars). Thus: Hyper/Light > Warp. No, we need to go faster! Ludicrous speed!

I'm tired of people agreeing with this flawed logic. You are saying if something is not fun you should not do it no mater how great the reward. If you carry this idea anywhere you will miss-out on a lot. You always must work for the best things in life [and in games too. This is why privet servers get boring fast], and that work may not be fun. This is why I say there is no other way to fix the problem then to remove the PvP mini-game rewards altogether.

Errm, if you where responding to me. I did said that Stealing Creation was one of the two most balanced mini-games in RS. If you weren't responding to me then, IDK.

You know what the real problem here is?: The rewards. Clan Wars has NO rewards yet it is the most played mini-game there is. Do you see any tie games there? No, because it would be a pointless waste of time. Player vs Player games should not give rewards. Rewards are supposed to be balanced with the effort it takes to achieve them, however players are NEVER balanced so the effort can NEVER be measured. Even the two most balanced player vs player mini-games are flawed: In Stealing Creation teams are controlled by players, players of skill (levels, or actual player skill) can join to together secretly (stack) and run games. Fist of Guthix has a very balanced match making system [don't laugh!] (well this would be the best matchmaking system if they put in level comparisons, but this has nothing to do with "playing as intended"). The reason is because of the extremely hard to control by player i.e. stacking, and it is hard for players to plan with other players before the game starts, but once the game begins players can come to agreements on the games outcome, and some players just leave the game to let there opponent win (I've done this). Rewards should be left to Player versus mini-games (Pest Control, Trawler, Barbarian Assault) where players can not set the outcome by "not playing as intended". So there you have it; EXPUNGE THE REWARDS!

It would be cool,but I don't find any of the races in RS all that interesting.

Mage > Melee. Can you freeze someone for 20 seconds with melee without risking a 29m ZGS? Can you stop someone from teleing with Melee? Mage is infinately more useful than mage, maybe not Edge DM'ing, but you said PVM in general in which case a Hybrid Mage/Range would be far more effective. Freezing? Hybrid? DM'ing? Do you even know what PVM stands for? Player Versus MONSTER, not PVP which is Player vs Player. PVM magic is my biggest problem with Runescape.

Did you just say that wrong doing is fair, because you can join in and do wrong yourself? :wall: (refrains from making real world references -.-)

I first wanted a name from the game Fire Emblem like; Wyvern Rider, Wyvern Lord, or Nomad Trooper, but they where all taken, then I heard of a color called 'Gun metal', but it to was taken so I tried Sword Metal with no luck, so then I decided on Dirkmetal. A dirk is a Celtic short blade, and since my family came from Scotland the the US so I felt that it was fitting. The 'metal' I just added because I thought it sounded good. I had no clue that Dirk was a popular name in other country's with people that played that played Runescape, and now I run into people who think I can speak dutch, and that I listen to metal -.-. Aside from this I am glad I thought my name through knowing that I would have it for a long time.

This is starting to sound like Phantasy Star. Both have Humans, and Mechs/Robots. Now all Mechscape needs is Elves, and Beast/Transforming people

That's two images next to each other, not one image :wall: You can't find that anywhere in Runescape, or the RS web pages :wall:. @Muggiwhplar: maybe, maybe not, but the whole point of this thread is finding faces, not trying to figure out if they were intentional or not.

You only need to click once to get this though, okay two lick, but that is because the log in edit box cuts the image in two. All I did was highlight the center mass. Its not like I'm playing connect the dots like some people and clicking fill so many times that they are basically drawing a whole new image. Try it your self you'll see. But if you do try if, do it with a fresh screen shot because I saved in a lossy format to save mem.

Mage doesn't need to KO, that's not the point of Mage... You can make your opponent stand still with 2 magic spellbooks, what more do you want? You can hit 30 and more with 2 magic spellbooks too. I want to be able to beat a Ranger, and get the drop in multi-way PvM. That is all :cry:

There in fact is a very interesting one of a Mahjaret (SP?) on the Log in screen if you see if you use the fill brush in MS paint. I did not discover this, someone else did, they found it a few days after PK worlds came out, and it is believed to be a hint at the defender of Varrock quest that came out soon afterward.

I'm glad I am not the only one saying this.

I was Reallllllyyyyyy hoping for a magic update, but no, this just weakens magic.
