All those hordes in this event made me wish I had a Pipe Bomb, or a Bile bomb with a G launcher. (no this post is not about terrorism)

It's really to much for level 70s. Factor in summoning and you have a big problem. The Intermediate boat never wins a round. It could use a nerf.

*sigh* If only this were the case, but that fact is, magic is the most underpowered offensive combat skill. If you truly believe that magic is equal to range, and melée. Then I ask you to try and use only magic at ANY of the God Wars Dungeon bosses and cut a profit. I ask you to try magic on the King Black Dragon, then try range and then melee. See which style nets the most kills in one trip. Try try only using magic on the Kalphite Queen, then rang, then use Varack's. See how effective magic is on the Giant Mole. Watch the wonders of magic soloing the Corporeal Beast. Still think magic is balanced? Try to receive 500k Slayer experience using magic as your only combat style, and earn more money then you lose wile doing it (Soul Wars doesn't count). Now do you understand? Instead of just saying everything is fine, why don't you join the fight for balance?

I could use a new laptop. I could care less if it's a Dell. My laptop only has 179MB of RAM, and the screen is busted so I'm using a 12 year old monitor as a substitute. 800x600 max resolution, yay! Oh, and it's a A Compaq, with one of those wonderful Cerelon processors.

Jagex keeps saying that they're now more community oriented. We need to shoot this server information by them, and see if they put their money where their mouth is.

Care to elaborate... :unsure: The only axe i can think of that comes from that area is the Dragon axe/hatchet. With the quest involving the horrors from the deep, it is a fairly close link. Also, the lunar people are not weaponsmiths, so i doubt it will be a weapon from them, unless it is a staff/axe cross. I hope not. Last thing we need is another magic staff with melee stats.

Meleers either use the sap/leech spells, which will give the same a/b/c that you described, or they'll use turmoil, both according to your B that doesn't matter since they'll both use it ... If both use Turmoil it will at least it will speed up the fight, unlike magic, were the longer you fight the more runes you waste. Thus, turmoil saves warriors both time and money.

If they ban them, yes you will not see them at the GE spamming, but they will still be there operating on 3rd party sites. There might be less members, but it does not take many to screw up the GE. You could ban the leaders, but do you really think that they run those clans on their main accounts? They could easily start new accounts and have the clan move their. This is a complex issue. A good solution will take time. I think none of us want another hasty 07 type change now do we?

Really? Runescape is not a good game, even considering it's convenience of "playing anywhere". Putting it on a top 200 list would be ridiculous. It was ground breaking back when it came out. Its also very old. Isn't it the longest running MMO there is?

I'm glad to see that VALVe practically owns that whole list. I'm just glad to see Ricochet is not on there. :P No Jet Force Gemini? That game had amazing music and boss fights and great multiplayer. I know that I'll be flamed for this, but where is Runescape? That game has done some amazing things. I also missed Rouge Leader on that list. Where's Tales of Phantasia? The game that showed that great JRPGs don't have to be turn based. Where's Fire Emblem? No Space Invaders? Eff them. Decent? No Star Craft? These guys don't have a PC. Okay this list is wrong in so many ways. I could go on but then I'd just be making my own list no one cares about.

They said something about that like 6 months ago. They also said they would make a mage version of the Slayer Helm. Both Prayer and Slayer have received updates since then. I see neither of these things.

Hi, it's me again. That guy who is always whining about the magic skill. Well Jagex did it again, they never fail to disappoint. This is their latest blunder: Level 78 Prayer: Leech Magic. Increases Magic by 5%, gradually increasing to 10%. Drains opponent's Magic by 10%, gradually increasing to 25%. Melee gets a new prayers boosting its max hit even higher. Magic gets a prayer that: A) Stops you from being able to hit worth a damn. (They use Leech Magic) B) Does absolutely nothing. (Both players use Leech Magic) C) Gives you greatly increased accuracy (You use Leech Magic) So Magic gets a new prayer that is only good one third of the time, wile Melée gets a new prayer that's useful almost all of the time? Why Jagex, why?

Actually I own the 360 version, so unfortunately there isn't an "M". <_< I've tried hitting every button as well, weird part is my guest can play normally, but it doesn't even recognize me as part of the game after it happens. Bummer. You can still call votes to annoy people.

Or perhaps the update is huge, and they wanted to release it in two parts. There is the last minute bug that appears in a lot of games, and it doesn't make Jagex a bad company. Cry some more. So you have to wait a couple more days, big deal. If this update you speak of is so huge, why on earth would they release 10 already used Turkeys and some dialogue first? That makes no sense. And "cry some more" ? Really? Jesus Christ, he's just pointing out some things he isn't satisfied about. Criticism makes better, saying "cry some more" is just as retarted as saying "If you don't like, don't play" , which also is one of the worst arguments in RuneScape history. JaGeX isn't this perfect company which does everything well, they've made numerous mistakes and will make more in the future. Let's just hope they learn from their mistakes. No, "Cry some More" is what you get when you play to much Team Fortress 2 and/or troll the Steam forums. You get that, "It's Cold in here" and "Air strike mode". OT: I hope it's something cool for F2P; the second half of the update that is.

You're talking about logicality in Runescape? Lol... Just because RS isn't logical presently isn't an excuse to aggravate the illogicality. How is it illogical that a Warhammer can have same speed as a Scimitar? So apparently you have not heard about the laws of inertia and mass, balance means nothing to you and everything is light as a feather.

Now I don't know about Mithrils, but I find range to be almost as good as, if not better, then Fire Bolting Steel dragons. Accept with range, bolts cost less then runes, you get most of your bolts back AND bolts do not take up space in your inventory leaving more room for pots and drops so you can stay longer. Magic needs to be optimized for both PvM and Slayer, it's nearly useless for both (yes I know the two overlap).
