Me too. I am quite impressed at how much this game has grown. From the invention of adamantite armor to the first days of the wilderness, Runescape has changed so much since when I started. Unfortunately, the more people that play, the more people will be wanting to macro. I like the good ole days when Runescape wasn't cared about enough for people to design bots.

Jessy, is the speed on that obsidian sword the same as whip/scim/dagger? Thanks. BTW, I am editing your results into my first post. ALSO I am 99% sure that the bonus isn't given to the obsidian staff.

Jessy would you mind getting the hourly exp on that compared to d scim? I dont have the sword and I dont want to buy it really, but I'm curious. :)

Just did a one hour trial with each setup, but this time with a berserker ring. The results were as follows: Obsidian Setup: 66,613 xp Classic Setup: 66,896 xp

I'll add the stat pic after I finish 60 mins of obby training. BTW I am the one who posted the D-stone bracelet stats.

Thank you for the comments everyone. Seeing how much this has interested the public, I am doing more trials now, with a slightly different setup. I will use zerker ring and dbaxe special (followed by a restore potion and a super attack) and I will do a 60 minute trial for each. I'll update when I am done. Following that, I will test the statistics on a Slayer task to see what the black mask does to each setup.

Objective: To analyze the new Berserker Necklace in comparison with the classic set-up for strength training. The Procedure: Train for EXACTLY 10 minutes (timed with a stopwatch) using each method. RIGHT before I started hitting, I drank ONE dose of super attack and super strength and then did NOT re-drink potions until my 10 minutes was up. I trained at the monkeys on Ape Atoll. My stats are: 99 Attack, 95 Strength, 91 Defense, 99 Hitpoints. Here is what I wore for each test: Obsidian: Classic: The Results: Obsidian setup: Started at 8,926,332....Ended at 8,937,737 Change----- 11,405 xp which means (times 6) it's 68,430 xp per hour. Classic setup: Started at 8,937,737....Ended at 8,948,057 Change----- 10,320 xp which means (times 6) it's 61,920 xp per hour. The Conclusion: This test was done with the equivilant of an Obsidian DAGGER and, as you can see, I got faster exp. If, in the future, jagex releases an Obsidian Scimitar, this method will become MUCH better than D-scim. I was both surprised and pleased by the results of this test. The max hit that I saw through this whole experiment was 35 from each weapon. IF the Berserker Necklace would be used with higher strength bonus (fire cape and berserker ring) then I predict the performance would ALSO increase because the higher hits are due to a DAMAGE bonus, not a STRENGTH bonus. Also, if we can use this necklace in conjunction with black mask, I predict that the numbers would also favor the Obsidian setup even more. What does it all mean? If there is a release of an obby scimitar, obsidian training is the wave of the future. Also, if the necklace works the way I think it does, black mask and higher str bonus will increase its performance even more. Also, I will be buying other obsidian weapons and testing them aswell. More results to come in the future. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My Second Run: This time, I did the same setup, except with a berserker ring. I also did this trial for 60 minutes straight with each setup, and here were the results: Obsidian Setup: 66,613 xp Classic Setup: 66,896 xp As you can see, the obsidian KNIFE still was as good as the scimitar in the classic setup. Be sure to notice the horrible stats on the knife. I wish I could've had a sword to check this out with, but I just was unable to find a seller. ALSO, I tried using an obsidian staff for a brief ammount of time and was able to conclude that the bonus does not apply to the staff, even if you melee with it. EDIT: Jessy87 did some tests with the staff and his results were quite different from mine. No! Don't say its a Jagex mistake that they gave the combat bracelet a stat bonus :shame: :( Its one of the best things about the update. :P

The numbers they said include rapid heal. Normal healing is 1 per minute. So 2x is 1 every 30, then 2x more is 1 every 15 secs.

I'm seeing prices as low as 3.5m for the regeneration braclet, so I don't think it gives stat bonuses. No other (lower) bracelets give any equipped bonuses except for the dragonstone ones.

Yes, this is true. You can wear gloves after the game starts. 36 with Ice Barrage ftw.

Does anyone know if the onyx bracelet gives any stat boosts? ALSO: It says that the hitpoint recovery is doubled...it doesn't say RATE. Is the RATE doubled or do we get 2 hp per recovery?

Well, this update makes me want to shoot myself for waking up at 7:30. Not planning on using any of the new jewelry except for necklace of skills, clay bracelet, and CW bracelet. I might consider training with Phoenix Necklaces if they heal me for 30% of my hp. :lol: From the wording of the description, I'm not quite sure if they heal FOR 30% or if they heal you TO 30% of the HP. For instance, will I go to 30 HP or will I be given 30 HP? Might be useful in some situations. Incase Jagex reads this.... PUT THE BRACELETS IN THE RING SLOT
