  1. 1.) You really shouldn't bump your guide so much. 2.) I think this guide could be improved by adding some information about what the best flat pack sets are, and how much you can make off of them or sell them for.
  2. Gah stop shoving PP deio >=o. I'm at menaphite thugs right now, and I find it insanely easy. I get them into a building, close all the curtains, then lure-knockout as soon as I lured-two pickpockets, and repeat. Great xp, got 5k xp in 3 minutes. 10\10. However, you forget that a lot of people, like myself, don't care how fast you can get exp is the process is very boring. I can't stand blackjack training; the only way I like to thieve is by using Pyramid Plunder. Also, I get the chance of a Pharoh Sceptre. :D
  3. This is a very nice guide, but I think it could use a little bit more. I know that my favorite part of a well written guide is to give an hourly exp figure for each possible training spot. Now I know nothing about hunter, but are the black salamanders not good exp? Even if a method is not your favorite, you might want to include some analysis of other training methods because somebody somewhere will say "I'm bored of carnivorous chinchompas, isn't there anything else?" Other than that, I think the guide is perfect.
  4. Trust me, Oak Larders is a lot faster. The more planks you use up at once, the more experience you get. Lets think about this: Oak Larders - 8 planks per larder = 480 xp per larder - Navigate through one window Carved Oak Tables - 6 planks per table = 360 xp per table - Navigate through two windows - You have to drop or bank your tables So not only are Oak Larders more experience per piece of furniture, but you go through less steps to make them. If you're making Carved Oak Tables, you have to navigate through one more window and either drop or bank your tables. All that extra time adds up. I can definitely see this being true when we talk about building oak doors, but I don't think that it holds true for larders. Now, I havent worked construction in awhile, so my opinion may be skewed. But, the last time I did cons, removing objects took a LONG time to do, and THEN you had to built it. The time I used to lose due to removing things was much greater than the time wasted at a workbench, dropping tables etc... I am in the computer lab right now, and I might have to experiment with larders when I get back to my dorm. The last time I tried building and removing, it took far too long to remove things, and I definitely built 4 flatpack carved oak tables faster than I built and removed 3 larders. Again, I will hav to try this now, but as far as I know I could workbench 24 planks much faster than build + remove. Thanks for the info though. :)
  5. I agree with this. I don't use the term "noob" to insult someone for having lower stats, but I definitely call people noobs when they are being rude, ignorant, or otherwise unpleasant. Or when they try to talk about something in which they have no authority...that really aggrivates me.
  6. I agree completely. These are the only 99's that are truly extremely time consuming, even with maximum funding. Farming, prayer, and herblore ARE some harder 99's to get, but if you are insanely rich, they become easier. However, I would also consider adding Hitpoints and Slayer to that list. Hitpoints is not so hard to train anymore due to PC, but Slayer is definitely one of the most time intensive 99's to get, even with max funding.
  7. Wtf is this? You have the same things written twice in like 5 different spots...
  8. I honestly don't think that making oak larders is faster than making carved oak tables at your work bench...
  9. I have a suggestion: get 99 construction, then write this guide.
  10. Yes, I'm going for 99....eventually :P Not right now though, done with prayer for awhile...
  11. Yes, I copied and pasted my combat level screen onto the 80 prayer picture, so I dont want to hear anything like FAKE OMG. :P This has been a goal of mine for a long time and it's great to have it done finally. 80 stats are awesome :D :D :D Rate pl0x0rz
  12. April 19, 2007 5:40 PM Another quest off the list. This one was actually really easy, I'm surprised it gives such a good reward.
  13. April 19, 2007 3:20 PM Whoohoo! :) Another goal off the list. I was going to get a picture of me enchanting the amulet with my diary, but of course I am an idiot and forgot all about it. I am now adding a new goal to my list also: get Ava's accumulator.
  14. Dust devils all the way. Great exp, great drops, they drop bones that I can convert into peaches. All around the best place to train.
  15. This adds a whole new level of danger to being teleblocked. If you are low on food then get TB'ed and poisoned, you aren't long for this world. I like today's updates, made the game harder in a few ways.
  16. The good news is, you came back in time for the bracelet update. It may be good, or it may not, but the most exciting thing is that it is a huge crafting update. I am very excited! :D
  17. Are you sure that's right? i thought their attack worked similar to metal drags: mage attack if you're standing far away and melee if your on the adjacent square. Thats nother thing that could be added to the guide... there would be no need to safespot them because they will stand on thye same square much like a metal drag, if you want to mage/range them just stand 2 sqauares back. This is correct, I typically slay them in full Verac.
  18. Wait a minute...I am confused. I thought autoers used teleports? I thought they used the tree to get out there and then teled to the bank...I guess I am wrong though.
  19. there are movements going on... yet, still bad news for green dragon slayers... We could TB outside of the wildy? wtf...
  20. Oh no! The game was made more difficult?! :ohnoes: Somebody call the police! Here are my opinions... 1. "OMG now I will die easier!!" Clicking anywhere across the ditch will take you right next to the ditch, which is a non-wildy zone. There is a possibility that the ditch COULD mess up your running, but the last time I checked the wilderness is a dangerous area. The fact that it now might be more dangerous does not bother me. 2. "OMG runecrafting is harder!!" Whats that you say? It is now harder to do the skill that makes the best skill-cash in the game? Runecrafting at the abyss basically makes you a bare MINIMUM of 200k per hour; I've made up to 400k+ per hour there. Name another SKILL (non-combat) that you can do this with. If anything, the ditch gives us a step in the right direction in balancing the skills (as far as money-making goes, not exp per hour). 3. "OMG Jagex is catering to stupid people!!!" Really? Maybe the stupid person is the one who has trouble hopping over a 10 centimeter ditch.
  21. April 18, 2007. 1:46 AM Woot! :) Quest done, now I have acess to the best prayer armor, go me. :P This quest was not as bad as I heard it was, and I quite like the reward. Can't wait to actually use it once this is all over. College is rough right now, so I probably won't knock out too many of these goals in the next week or two, but after then comes summer vacation. 8-)
  22. I'm not sure what you are getting at here...I've played since the wilderness was first released, and it has always been this way. PKers bring all of their gear in, and people who go there to train only bring 3 good items and the rest is stuff that they don't mind losing. The wilderness has not "become" anything.
  23. Bump! My blog is back with updated content.
