I have never lured and I never plan on it. While I oppose luring, I do not hate anyone who choses to do it. If anyone manages to actually have sucess at luring, I say kudos to them. However, it is breaking the rules and it should be a bannable offense. It is a shady way to play the game and luring is definitely a type of scamming. It is also a part of the game that people need to learn to deal with, because it will always be around. As far as DK "luring" is concerned, it should never be against the rules. The only reason luring (wildy) is rule breaking is because you deliberately make an attempt to mislead a person. For DK luring, all you are doing is attracting a monster to a particular side of the area. Players are not mislead at all.

After trying this, I definitely think that it is much better to do combination runes at the fire altar. Maybe if we get enough people doing this, a new market will be generated. I can't see combination crafting ever being used to make money, but it can certainly be used to cut your losses. For example, if smoke runes are sold at 50 gp each, that would be a 50 gp loss on each ess compared to a 100 gp loss on each ess at the FFL company. I think pkers would certainly buy combi runes at 50 each...so the price could definitely even go higher.

Emerald necklace=binding necklace I am very excited about the new jewelry. Not just because the uses sound pretty interesting and almost usefull, but because this jewelry update means Jagex is actually looking to improve upon existing features. I can only hope that they continue this trend and extend good updates like this to other skills that have been completely lacking on updates (like SMITHING :x ) The last thing smithers got was that stupid bow-sword thing...that still doesn't have a use. Oh, and as far as these new bracelets go...I am very skeptical that they will outshine my "barrows" gloves. :-k

I really don't understand...everyone is talking about how there would be no runners because there are no buyers. But, if there were runners, buyers would start to come about. I think the main thing here is that it would just be stupid to be a crafter here instead of world 66. Seriously...can somebody explain why you would want to be a combination crafter instead of a law crafter? On another note, thanks for opening my eyes to this way of crafting. Does anyone do this for money? Or if not profit, at least less of a loss?

I think that if you don't have the Runecrafting level, the best way to do this would be to go to world 66 or 99 and just run laws, then sell those and buy nats. Or, you could run nats for a 2x RC'er. I am willing to bet that this is wrong. He only says "All forms of luring" but you are not actually being lured. They lure Supreme onto you, correct? The point of the rule is that misleading players to their death is bad. I'm pretty sure DK luring wouldn't conflict with this rule.

Thanks. If anyone is curious, I'm now planning on getting herb, thieving, and woodcutting done with next. I also almost have 80 smithing banked (thanks to Manage Thy Kingdom) and I have 80 farming banked in herb seeds, and various tree seeds. Runecrafting will make it to 80 eventually, because it is my main funder (and I am almost out of cash :( ) I am now least looking forward to agility or mining. If I had to pick one I hated more...I would say mining.

Mm yeah. So you think abusing something that Jagex ment to be fun is ok? Wow.... Luring is completely different from a house bug. Im okay with luring, dont see where i said bug abusing is fun. Owned. I don't honestly think luring should be against the rules...or any scamming for that matter. If people are so dumb that they fall for these awful scam attempts, its their own fault. But, alas, thats not the topic of this post. I don't think house luring is okay because as he said, it is a bug. Bug abusing is different from luring in general.
